I rarely need standby power - the unit only has 320 hours after 20 years so most of the hours are from the weekly "exercise" cycle. But, I want it to work when it's needed. I travel frequently so I was worried about the unit running and not shutting down so I wanted it fixed before I left town. So after spending $200+ for a service call, they claim I need a new transfer switch. I said "OK, please give me an estimate". 8 days later, still no estimate. So, I called on three separate days and asked when I could get a price. Today, I called, waited on hold and was told "we emailed the supplier and haven't heard back yet". Asking about when I could get a price: "it would be 12 to 14 weeks before we could get the part". This company must have too much business because they clearly don't care about customers. Home Depot/Lowe's and Costco here I come!

We talked through the issue and he set a time to come out. The plumber did not come. I called and he explained that several plumbers did not show up for work, which suppressed availability (no call to let me know). We set up another appointment and again he did not show. This engagement caused me 5 additional days of water damage, due to the initial call being on a Friday and we waited through the weekend. That's horrible business.
