Explained that we are retired and on a fixed income and this was out of the financial reach for us. Stated that the regular x-ray was affordable for our budget. Guidelines from the American Dental Association state that x-rays are accumulate over time and dentist should must weigh the risk for x-ray exposure. I have no qualms with the staff but am just not comfortable with the lack of thoroughness on the part of the dentist.
