Unfortunately the root was cracked so a re-treat of a root was not possible and it will eventually need to be extracted. Not super excited because before the crown was replaced it never hurt but during the install of the first crown there were issues so it was most likely just destined to eventually fail. I appreciated their kindness and reassuring me the advice my dentist gave to possibly extract would be the best solution.

Regarding the level of dental service(cleaning and filling), I honestly cannot complain…read more The reason for the one-star review is based on Dr. Lemons not honoring what his employees tell clients when it comes to being an in-network provider. Here is what happened: I needed to see a dentist as we recently moved to the area, so I called and spoke with someone in the office and specifically asked if Dr. Lemons was a preferred in-network dentist on my dental plan (As I knew that they would only cover the costs of the cleanings if he was). I was told that he was a preferred in-network provider by the lady who answered the phone that day, so I scheduled the cleaning. The cleaning itself went normally and it was determined that I needed to get a filling, so we scheduled another appointment. At the beginning of the next appointment, I met with the office clerk and she provided a statement of what the billing would look like with my insurance coverage and recommended that I pay the portion ahead of time (about $50) and that my insurance would cover the rest. I paid the $50 and got the filling and went home. I then started receiving bills from the office and just figured it was because the insurance was taking a while to pay them because I do not have to pay for preventative care on this plan and already paid the deductible for the filling. Dr. Lemons office then called me a few months later and said that I needed to pay the bill, at which time I explained my situation and how my insurance was supposed to cover the rest. The lady who called me told me that Dr. Lemons was not a preferred in-network provider and that is why my insurance didn't cover the costs as was expected. I explained to her that I would not have gone to see Dr. Lemons had I known he wasn't in-network and that is why I specifically asked before scheduling the appointment. She told me that I still needed to pay that I should've checked myself with my insurance company. I told her that I did check when I asked their employee was told he was and I, as a consumer should be able to trust what his employee said. She would still not budge on the matter so I told her that I would like the manager to call me. The manager called and I explained my situation and she said she would talk to Dr. Lemons and get back to me. Today she called and told me that Dr. Lemons said I still needed to pay the amount owed regardless of what his employee had told me. I promptly paid the bill and now will be posting my experience on all social media platforms to warn my fellow consumers to not trust what his office says about him being an in-network provider on your insurance plan and that you should check for yourself. I have canceled all of my future appointments and will switch to a dental practice that will honor what their employees tell their clients.

Appointments are routinely changed, communication is disorganized, and no one seems to know what anyone else is doing. One appointment that I believed was a routine cleaning somehow turned into a 2 1/2-hour ordeal with no advance explanation. On another occasion, I was prescribed medication that should have been started before my procedure, but the prescription wasn't called in. The event that finally destroyed my confidence happened when I went in to have a chipped tooth repaired. Instead of fixing the damaged tooth, they worked on the one next to it and ended up cracking the base of the original chipped tooth. When the anesthetic wore off, the pain became so severe that I ended up in the emergency room. The result was thousands of dollars in additional treatment that never should have happened. The administrative side has been just as bad. They billed me directly for services but never submitted the claim to my insurance, leaving me to sort out a mess that should have been handled by their office. After waiting weeks for permanent crowns, I took time off work for the installation appointment. While I was driving there, the office called to say they had an emergency patient and couldn't see me. They sent me to another office later that afternoon, requiring me to take even more time off work. When I arrived, the COO apologized and informed me there had been no emergency at all. The dentist at the original office had simply decided not to complete my appointment. Being told one thing by the scheduling staff and something entirely different by management was the final straw. I canceled every remaining appointment that day. The irony? A week later, the same office that mishandled my care, my insurance, and my time called to remind me about a cleaning appointment they apparently forgot I had already canceled. Everyone understands that emergencies happen. Mistakes can happen too. What is much harder to accept is repeated poor communication, questionable scheduling practices, billing errors, and a pattern of wasting patients' time while expecting them to simply accept it. I cannot recommend this practice to anyone looking for reliable, organized, or trustworthy dental care. Honestly I think the one star rating is gracious...

Here, the doctor recommended minimal work such as fillings and a missing crown. He achieved a very desirable outcome and literally saved us thousands of dollars. My braces was completed faster than expected plan, and it looks as I expected. Filling was pretty standard, but one of my filling fell off after 3 years (it was at the edge and I guess I bit too hard). The wisdom teeth removal was excellent for me (for the two upper teeth). It was done too fast that I prepared myself for nothing. They also gives clear instruction and called to check everything is fine. I didnt even have to take ibuprofen at night because there is no pain (only takes one dose because I was afraid the pain would kick in). One plus thing is when they inject the anesthesia medicine, they did pretty well and I didnt feel pain, so that alone could be enough for me to go here. This place is always busy lol and you know if a place is busy it means they did good. I must admit that the price is slightly higher than the other online quote I found (but you know quote means nothing and I only have been going here so I really cant say lol), but you get what you pay for. If you have good insurance and want to have a good experience, I would recommend this place. Oh and about the price issue, I did research and I found out that it is yours responsibility to check and understand your insurance. It's quite a long read, but yeah you have to learn how insurance work.
