Please never confuse my kindness for weakness or judge me at all. The fact is that you can get human hair wigs already styled and cut for a fraction of their cost. I realize that this place has been around for decades and when you're upset and needing a wig for health reason that price is no object but now days you can order better wigs and try them on at home than the ones you don't like or don't want you can ship them back plus if they need styling you can go to the hair schools and have students under a licensed stylist/teacher take care of you without the hassle sometimes for free as they may trade a grade for services. Don't let these people scam you into believing they are better than other places because they have been lying and overpricing on patience hurting and confused for years. I'm very disappointed in the way I was "tricked" in giving information they only cared about so they could give me a price that is 6x the price of a wig online that is human hair plus some already styled and a topper for $1600 is absolutely ludicrous! Think car salesman from the 80s when you walk in and ensure you shop around before you give your hard earned money to this place. I went in as a scared, insecure lady and they did exactly as I thought and overcharged me and priced gouged me so they got to keep their wigs and I found six for half the price and all human hair. I only need to have two of them styled a bit more to my liking. I'll have six looks that just make it look like I styled my hair different each day and one weekend fun beachy casual look. I will say the lady was nice and just doing her job by the owner svammy ways.

Laura the owner of this hair boutique recommended Celondra Lewis as a skilled and licensed hair stylist to make a u-part wig with the kinky curly hair I purchased. On the website regarding kinky Curly hair it clearly states the hair can be colored and bleached and I read this information before going into the store. I set everything up with Celondra and had my appointment set... the day of the appointment I get a text from Celondra saying the hair isn't taking the color... I'm like why not? It clearly says on the website the hair can be colored!!! I contacted Laura and so did Celondra regarding the hair she said well I told her the hair couldn't be colored! No that's not the information I was given because we never talked about coloring the hair or what I wanted to do with the hair! Laura has switched vendors because of COVID-19 this new hair is not good quality hair and can not be colored at all. Laura and Celondra are refusing to give my money back and haven't rendered any services at all. I've filled charges against Laura Purnell and Celondra Lewis for fraud and theft of services. Customer beware of this company... it's not the same vendor and she has failed to provide that information.

She asked me to call my credit card company to check if there are any pending charges on my credit card. I couldn't believe what I was hearing she is putting panic in her new customer and making her customer check instead of her figuring out what happened and to clear this up. Very unprofessional and very unsettling for a new client. After a week of waiting and 45 min of taking on the phone she assured me she knew exactly my texture, color and length. To be honest when she was taking my information I had to repeat so many times and still she would mess it up. To be honest, mistakes happen but what she said to me on the phone about them manipulating the hair for photography was what got me.... so it's the switch and bait?
