We took our Lexus in for air conditioning work, and before we knew it our bill was $5000. This sounds like a lot of $, but the poor OLD thing had some issues, and I felt the work needed to be done. The manager told me that the work would have been $7000 at a Lexus dealer. Oops, then warning lights came on after we left. We called the shop and made an appointment to get them turned off. The tech apparently didn't make a wiring connection, and we left with no bill, just the time to drive back and get it fixed. I have only recently become aware of Clear Choice Lexus. Has been a VERY Positive game changer for our family. Our family has 5 cars - all Lexus or Toyota vehicles. Clear choice is owned and managed by career Lexus dealership folks who have all gone independent - they have all the knowledge and professionalism of a Lexus OEM dealership, but in an independent shop with prices that are about 2/3 to half of what Lexus OEM dealerships charge. More importantly they have all factory trained and experienced Lexus service techs, including a 25 year Master Tech. This shop is transparent, highly competent and fairly priced. As a side benefit, they will also work on Toyota vehicles, making them a one stop shop for our family. The General Manager Allen is very responsive and will give you very honest advice as to what maintenance and service should actually be done (compared with dealership who will do as much as you will allow for as much as they can charge whether or not it is really necessary). We have only been using Clear Choice Lexus for 6 months, but 4 of our cars have already been serviced there and we have been very pleased and highly recommend. read more

Met with Allen at the Woodlands location and from the very moment I walked in, I felt welcomed as if I was a long-time customer. I ordinarily do most basic work on my vehicles like brakes and fluid service, but the older I get, the more I would rather have certain tasks done by someone with proper equipment and the space to do it all plus the task of disposing the old fluids is a pain and can be messy. Came in with warped rotors and they promptly took my vehicle and resurfaced the rotors and voila; no more warped rotors...best part was the cost was for the cost of a set of new OEM rotors but they still were well within tolerance to be machined and I didn't get any break dust all over myself and didn't have to sweat three gallons in this heat. I'm leery of bringing vehicles to new shops and really hate being talked to like I don't have a clue, but this place really made me feel welcome and they did not try to upsell me on anything. I would highly recommend and plan to bring both my Lexus truck and Toyota SUV here going forward as long as we are in the area. Thank you. read more

It doesn't matter who you deal with at Clear Choice Lexus in the Woodlands, whether it is Allen, Madison, or Michael, they are all so eager to help you with whatever you need. They explain in detail everything you need to know that is going on with your car (whether it is in good shape or if there is a repair that needs to be done). One of the things I love dealing with them on is they will not tell you something needs to be repaired unless it is truly an issue. They check things out thoroughly. I TOTALLY trust them. I have been taking my car to them for the last five years and never have I been dissatisfied in any of my dealings with them. You almost feel like their family members when you walk into their office. Madison always acknowledges you right away and immediately calls either Allen or Michael to let them know you are there. I took my 2016 ES350 for the 30,000 mile service. To begin with it was $200 less expensive than the dealer. Alan was very helpful and knowledgeable on Lexus vehicles. We were given a Toyota Corolla as a loaner and were told it would take 2 to 2.5 hours and they would call us when it was ready. We got a call after 2 hours that my car was ready. What an awesome auto service experience! Finally a place where customer service comes first, and the prices are reasonable! Mike and staff are extremely knowledgeable about all models of Lexus and very quickly diagnosed and were able to give me "the fix" and a price. They gave me a loaner vehicle at no charge and there was no run-around about "we won't have a loaner for a week, but leave your car now" like I've had in the past. They said they'd call me when my vehicle was ready and for the first time that I can remember, they did! I didn't have to call Clear Choice first! When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, it was outside, backed in and completely washed, vacuumed and all interior surfaces wiped down - fully clean. I just picked up a used Lexus and it was in need of a timing belt service. I found these guys online after reading a few other good reviews. Great shop. Super clean.. Took my IS300 in for a Timing belt service; all the seals, water pump etc that is required. The staff was very professional and knowledgeable. The waiting area is really nice if your only there for a quick oil change or something quick. Due to the larger repair I was given a free loaner car. Its the little things that set a good company from a bad one.. Clear Choice pays attention to those little things. read more

I really like Clear Choice, having used them a couple of times now. I will be coming to them for all my service needs, going forward. Excellent customer service, friendly staff, and easy to schedule services. The loaner cars are nice, clean Toyota Corollas - not the Lexus loaners that you'll get at the dealership, but plenty good enough when you're paying significantly less! I just can't justify paying $600+ for a 60,000 mile service at the dealership when you can go to a mom & pop shop and get the same services done for around $160, but you're not getting Lexus parts and Lexus-trained techs. Clear Choice is a nice middle ground, with Lexus-trained techs, Lexus parts, and great pricing. read more

Everything you could hope for in service excellence, reasonable cost, cleanliness, waiting environment, amenities and pleasant staff.
