Honestly... I felt like it was a rip-off for anyone living a more country lifestyle (mowing your own yard, driving tractors, 4 wheelers, side by sides regularly). BUT! If you aren't around this type of equipment regularly or live in the city and have construction loving kids, this might be worth it. For us, we were let down. Alot of the machines have the same type of games so it was just repeated play over and over. The little ride on carts for tots barely move, so my 3 year old was bored. Shes a little dare devil though so a tamer 3 year old might enjoy it. I get why its expensive, I know those machines are expensive to upkeep. And staff was very friendly. Place was clean. So I will be honest, I was on the fence to spend $278 for 2 adults and 2 kids (3 &7) for what it seemed to be (comparing to Dollywood) but let me tell you, it was worth it! We rode so many things we would never have the opportunity to ride (including a no turn mower, ha!) My youngest is all about excavators (thanks Blippi) and knows more about buckets, dump trucks, and steam rollers than I do and he absolutely loved this place. We never had to wait to ride anything and rode lots more than once. They have a turbo line option (extra and allows you to skip the line but it wasn't needed so I'd recommend driving there, seeing how busy it is and deciding if you want to add it before purchasing. Everything is spaced out and the employees were all very kind and helpful. You can tell that safety is a priority. They ensure you know how to operate each piece (minimal buttons, etc to operate). Small children can lap ride so they can ride pretty much all but a couple. Plenty of parking, restrooms, and a cafe that has basic concession food (and kind of pricey... $10 for an uncrustable...) Nursing room for breast feeding mamas, a gift shop, and little shaded canopy's over some benches throughout. There's even a gem mining station (extra cost) and arcade. Highly recommend. We spent 4 hours there. read more

When you first walk up to the ticket window at Dig N Zone theme park you may think holy makeral! This should be called Dig N Zone "ream" park. Yep, the prices seem to be a little steep, but believe me, the adventure for the little ones is well worth the price of admission. The kids are going to have fun, while us older construction workers will be able to act just like the real workers that we see as we drive by construction sites....standing around watching other people work! Only in this case, we get to watch as our precious new hires drive, dig, roll, and ride their way into countless dreams. We big kids can do many of the activities too, but it's much more fun to watch. Sure, I hopped on a few of the real, true sized, pieces of equipment, but it was always with my young grandkids on my lap. Did I mention dreams? It was a true life dream for me. My six year old grandson operated a real excavator! Digging and dumping all on his own. The confidence he showed climbing onto the machine and strapping himself in, ready for work, he dug circles around me. LoL, I couldn't seem to get the darn thing to do what I wanted it to do! But he had no such issue. He mastered that yellow beast within minutes. About midway through our adventure we ducked under the shaded picnic area. Shade is at a premium at Dig N Zone. There's no shade trees to be had for a quick shadow quench. An umbrella would be a good idea to bring along. We brought our lunch, but you can get a bite at the Cafe. I didn't venture inside because I was told that there wasn't any ice cream. A cone after lunch would have been refreshing. Maybe they'll get around to it. This season being their first in business, I'm sure that there'll be a number of improvements on the horizon. I did hear of expansion plans. New attractions and such. Let's hope ice cream is one of these. The crew running the show are a mix of youngsters and seasoned veterans. All having their own charm and personality quirks. Friendly as all get out, and not a carnie in the bunch. We all have our dark memories of carnies. A sometimes unsavory bunch they can be. But there'll be none of that here. Strictly on the up and up. Bring the family for a fun filled morning. I say morning cause until they get more shade, you'll have more fun when it's a bit cooler. But heck, if those brave souls who actually have to work in the adverse conditions can do it, so shouldn't we all?.....LoL, just not me! Quick Tip: Don't eat before you go on the Decimator. As parents of toddlers who absolutely love construction equipment (like many others, I'm sure), we were excited to plan a trip to Dig Zone. After checking hours, we saw that during the "winter season," they were only open on certain days. We decided to visit today, a Friday, and paid almost $300 for admission for our family (2 adults and 2 kids). To our disappointment, when we arrived after our 5 hour drive, we found that the park was short-staffed. Several rides were closed, and for others, one staff member was responsible for operating two rides at once. This meant that the lines were incredibly long, as rides could only run one at a time. For example, if you were next in line, you had to wait for the staff member to leave, operate/supervise a different zone, and then come back. While I understand that staffing challenges can happen, we would have appreciated being informed of the situation beforehand so we could make an informed decision about whether to proceed with our visit. Unfortunately, there was no discount or compensation for the inconvenience, and many kids were visibly disappointed. When I inquired about whether being "short-staffed" was typical, I was told that this was due to "winter staffing" and was then told about other places that aren't even open, implying that we should be grateful they were operating. Yikes. In addition to the staffing issues, we also noticed that some rides, like the jeeps, had multiple cars that were out of service due to broken vehicles. I'm sharing this feedback in hopes that future visitors are better informed, and to suggest considering better communication and accommodations to guests when facing staffing or maintenance issues. read more

Cute place, but small. If I did not have the fast pass it would have taken forever. I don't like how the line are set that with the pass you walk to the gate and show, it feels like you are cutting and they passed can make it every long for those without. The staff is very nice. This place is awesome! It is a perfect way for young kids to get up close and experience heavy equipment in a safe and fun way! My personal favorites were the mini gocarts! I enjoyed it as an adult. The park is immaculate. All of the employees were friendly and interacted great with kids-especially Jay on the skid steers! Arcade was fun with an easy to use card to load up for credit and use to redeem for prizes. We got there when they opened on a weekday and had 2 people in the park ahead of us and had no waits for rides until we were heading out (with a less than 5 minute wait on a couple things) after being there for about 2 hours. The gift shop also had some more unique themed gifts that were not ridiculously overpriced. Hands down we thought it was worth it for kids who are into trucks/construction and their first up close experience with the equipment. We spent about 2 hours there and did everything and repeated several things. It seems expensive but after being there I can see why the costs are as they are to maintain the quality of everything and pay all of the employees who keep things clean and reduce any waits! This is such a unique and cute theme park. If you have kids that would love to operate their own back hoe, steam roller, tractor and more, this is the place for you. You can move dirt and even pick up monkeys (think barrel of monkeys, arm by arm.) all done with a back hoe. This place has a really cute gift shop. There is a snack shop with reasonably priced food and drinks. I can't wait to bring my grandkids. It was awesome! read more

We traveled here from Franklin, TN and we had so much fun. We went for my sons 3rd birthday and it was a hit. It was low key, not an overwhelming theme park experience...but it was very manageable with little kids. Our 3 and 5 year old were just tall enough for most of the rides, there were just a couple they couldn't go on. We would definitely come again, it's a perfect spot to bring your construction loving boys. The only reason I'm giving it 4 star was because the cost was on the higher side. It was $178 for two adults and one child. Plus arcade was separate. It is a new theme park, so perhaps by the time you're reading this the entry price will be lower. However, we understand it cost a lot to turn this place into what it is, and we had a blast. We definitely enjoyed ourselves, but just full disclosure on the cost. Scott and Joesph at the arcade were so cool! They were very professional, fun, and our kids loved them. Having a great staff is so important, and these guys are doing just that. My kids and us parents had an absolute BLAST!!!! My 2 year old could do everything my four year old could do!! If you're thinking about taking your kiddos, DO IT! Lines were quick never waited over 5 minutes! Everyone was so nice, the worker name Jay offered to take our picture, and was the best worker we've ever meet! I wouldn't recommend this outfit to anyone! Read some reviews on this place first we bought our kids passes on groupon and met our party that was already in the park with a paid admission. As we were walking up to check in the very rude cashier was talking to another worker about how that didn't have enough paid admission as cl3arly each person had their own admit bracelet on. My brother was first to the ticket window and again the very rude cashier said that the groupon was for a 4 to 10 year old and unaware he needed to pay to be a bystander in the park and instead of explaining this to him she continued with her attitude towards our group I would not spend a dime with customer service as bad my family recieved! Overpriced is the least of my worry and we would of paid the additional money to enter this park if their employee would of just explained this rather than jumping to a conclusion even the party behind us was flattered by the way she was speaking to my brother and our entire group. Do business elsewhere you will not regret also for being a small business you would think the employees would be a bit more relaxed and customer service related!!! read more

We purposely planned a quick trip to TN to check this place out. Our 4 year old was OBSESSED. This is the best family-friendly park. This park was so well thought out with kids in mind. Our son thoroughly enjoyed Dig'n Zone more than he did Disney. The employees were AMAZING and you could truly tell they loved their job. It seemed like there was an amazing culture from leadership creating true happiness with employees. Each employee made sure to help my son if he needed it as well as engaged with us in conversation. I didn't catch all of the employees names but Tom was a name that stood out. I never leave reviews but I can't say enough about this place. It is well worth the trip! read more

This place is so much fun! My niece had a blast riding the tractor and playing games. They have gem mining. I really wanted to do this. I'm a sucker for gemstones but it was a little too cool out. Their gift shop has so much really cool tractor/construction themed toys that I never even knew existed. The employees here are so inviting and happy to help with anything. The ones that help with the digging and the games are so patient and really make it a great experience. We absolutely loved this place! read more
