Legacy truly made this painful experience easier from beginning to end. Our Vet connected us with their facility, and what a beautiful, pristine facility!! Everyone we came in contact with was sincerely empathetic to our grief. They treated our precious Lola with the utmost care and respect. The attendant who assisted our private viewing was also wonderful during the process. We highly recommend having a beautiful private viewing and individual cremation with Legacy. And the cost was very reasonable. We can't thank them enough during this difficult time.

When our dog passed late on a weekend night, we didn't know what to do. I looked up places on pet cremations and they were the closest. I called them and someone was there at 8am. Everything was made very easy on us and was very professional. 3 days later we were notified that our Pets remains were ready to be picked up. Would highly recommend them for anyone needing this type of service and their prices was very reasonable.

Legacy Pet Crematory is seriously the best on long island. My sweet Corona sadly had to be put to sleep and he was ready the next day. They helped with all the questions and concerns i had regarding the process. They lead with such care and compassion and truly make the whole process so much easier. Everyone here is kind and truly care about you and your pet! If i could give 10 stars i would!

I can't say enough good things about Legacy Pet Crematory. I called to ask some questions as I was preparing my beloved cats final day. Robin was so super sweet and knowledgeable. I wanted some keepsakes (I chose an small heart urn and necklace) and was welcomed to visit the crematory to pick a few out as there were no pictures on their website. Robin greeted me, showed me everything I wanted to see, talked to me some more knowing I was still struggling having yet to actually put my baby to rest, and answered every question. Her compassion is a gift. I prepaid for everything and the process was seamless. I scheduled the pickup to coincide with my appointment and felt secure knowing everything would go smoothly. Both my vet and the crematory allowed me to leave Maynard in his favorite bed as he was put to rest, this comforts me so much. My baby was ready for pickup just a few days later and I was even given an extra keepsake, I'm forever grateful for it. I had chosen my own urn previously that I purchased elsewhere but they still made me a brass nameplate with his name. Veterinary practices often have their own crematory that they use, I hope more owners know you can request your own and I highly recommend Legacy. The facility is also beautiful if you choose to do a viewing. I'm so glad I used them.

Making the decison to say goodby to Origami was one of the most painful and confusing times in my life. Alexis gave me so much of her time and showed so much compassion and kindness at a time when breathing felt hard. If you are struggling to help your pet transition in a pain free way and would like to do it in your home with the most gentle and kind person, please choose Alexis. I will miss my sweet sweet Angel for the rest of my life but I feel grateful knowing she wasnt afraid and felt safe and loved in her last moments. Thank you Alexis

This woman is a fraud, don't let the raving reviews fool you. If you want your animal to have…read moresolace in their last moments, there's no difference in what an animal hospital will do. Initially I was in favor of doing it this way at my Mothers discretion, she advertised it as a "beautiful thing" that would be personable, and intimate...It was the exact opposite. She shows up eager to get the process over with, and your pets last conscious moments will be getting tricked with a plate of whipped cream while she grabs them to inject the anesthesia. As I was understandably distraught and voicing my criticism's for the process which didn't reflect what was advertised, this liberal nutjob woman (who showed up in a mask lmao) THREATENED to stop the process and leave AFTER the anesthesia had been administered. Very professional. While I cried into my cats ear telling him how much I loved him, I had to be reminded by this woman "he can't hear you", and then asked "what's your favorite memory with him?" As my mother & I are breaking down sobbing over his body. 1,000$ for this by the way. It's all just for show, the selling point is having a half assed casket vigil in her trunk where she expects you to praise her as if she's doing God's work. To be honest, I didn't even frel comfortable having this woman drive off with my deceased Cat in her car, let alone her accompany my last moments with him. All to pick up his ashes at an animal hospital anyway....it's a sham. Like I said, you're better off doing it the traditional way or letting them pass peacefully on their own. This happened months ago and the fact i'm going out of my way to write this review now should show you how deeply dissatisfied I am with how it played out. It's just a way to scam sentimental people like my mother out of money they're more than willing to pay because of the love for their animals by pulling at their heart strings. If you're reading this; sincerely, Fuck. You.

We were trying to find someone to come retrieve her for end of life services. I came across Compassionate Care Pet Aquamation Inc and spoke with Jim about their options on what to do with their beloved Skye. My mom selected the urn she wanted and the package for her paw print. She went today to pick up Skye's remains along with her paw print. To her surprise, they never made her paw print! My mom is completely beside herself. And I am feeling so guilty because I found these people. We have paw prints of all of dogs that have passed away. And now they don't have Skye's. The best part is, they asked her if she put her request in writing. Which she did, and she had proof of that. Not that anything could bring sweet Skye back, but offering a piece of jewelry for her ashes is less than accommodating. I would NEVER recommend this company. UPDATE: Before posting his reply Alan asked me to update or remove my review, but time got away from me. I do want to point out that his "version" is not necessarily the whole truth. As I stated before, when my mom arrived at their facility to retrieve Skye's remains...they neglected to do her paw print impression like she requested. Their immediate reaction was to offer her a piece of jewelry for her ashes. She denied that because she wanted to keep all her ashes together. They let her walk out all distraught. It wasn't until hours later when I called the facility that then they offered a refund.
