Fairfield Inn and Suites Rock was easy off/on in a very pleasant suburb. Once I turned the thermostat off and on it worked. Bonus, they had lots of green space to walk my dog. My only complaint was I was in a room with an adjoining door. And until I turned the TV on I could hear the conversation happening in the room beside me. He was not being loud, I just think he was close to the door and the door was not sound proof enough. The hotel was also close to a mall, restaurants and gas stations. The morning of check out I went for breakfast at 9 AM. They had to go containers so I picked up scrambled eggs, sausage, a biscuit topped with sausage gravy, fruit and hot tea. I was impressed with the breakfast, especially the biscuit and sausage gravy! I plan to book a room here for all of my future trips to my parents. Try them out as I do not think you will be disappointed. For the price, it was a quality place to stay.

They are pet friendly with a fee, which is understandable. We brought our dogs, and felt safe walking them around the property to go potty. I almost never eat the free breakfast, because, again, I am super nitpicky, but they had muffins, coffee and fruit that was good. My husband and son enjoyed omelets and sausage. Yet, I was placed in a room right beside the image below, where transient workers came and went all day. There are no security checks, anyone can enter the hotel and take the elevator to any floor, and no one answers the front desk phone. After endless ringing, I went downstairs at 11pm to find a sign stating "We are temporarily away from the front desk and will return shortly." It's 12:03am and no one has returned. I suppose Marriott's definition of "shortly" is relative.
