Paul was rude and unprofessional. My mom was asking him questions about the fastest way to renew her passport because she is going to the Philippines in a month and she has been stressing out about it and we could just hear Paul talking to his coworkers about the superbowl during the call in the backgroud. Save your money because they will take it then so absolutely nothing beyond that! Let me share my experience. Jesse was great with helping get a sooner appointment than April 17th. He scheduled me on April 11. A bit further than I live, but still not a horrible drive. Saturday, Paul scheduled me for 1 day more than 2 weeks from my departure date, so I had to change my itinerary to meet the within the two week requirement. After spending almost $705 just to this company in non-refundable services fee ($620) and over $84 in guaranteed overnight delivery by 10:30 am, (FedEx charges $72). I get am email late Friday morning my application documents didn't met requirements. Called Legal Passport, was told they would call me back, and STILL nothing from them. And then they wonder why I called the scammers. They must intentionally send people to the most incompetent locations to have their passport applications processed. At this point with all changes I have had make because Paul's mistake, their non-refundable fee for absolutely nothing, plus shipping fees of almost $85, not to mention I had to change EVERYTHING again BECAUSE I won't get my passport in time as their website promises, I have shelled out almost $3000 extra I didn't have. My trip is now rescheduled for May with the hope my urgent passport will be here in time. My father is dying of pancreatic cancer, and the people at Legal Passport do not give the tiniest smidgen about you. You will be in hold quite while, call directly for emergency, urgent or expedited passport. Once they have your money they don't give a flying flip about delivering any type of service. You are forced to submit a second d unsigned passport application with the signed consent form, even the application processor that deals the envelope puts your name on it. Absolutely ridiculous, this cannot even be considered a business. Straight up shady place that just takes your money. They will change the amount you owe by the hour. Even though there was a mistake on our end I believe even if there wasn't there would've been extra fees anyways. Ended up paying over 800$ for a rush passport and they wanted another 350$, then that turned into over 700$. And now we aren't receiving anything and having to do our passport another way which is still going to amount in spending close to $1500 just for a single rush passport. Save yourself the time and the stress from going to this place. The only reviews even possibly accurate on here are the 1 star reviews. Shady and comes off as a scam. So very thankful for Paul and Jesse's help! In the mist of a hurricane, they tired to assist us in getting my husbands passport renewed for a upcoming trip we had planned. Our hotel is non-refundable so we have to go on this trip in order not to lose our money. It was pricey having the passport completed in less than a weeks time, which was delayed by hurricane Dorian! Avoid!!!! My husband and I had a nightmarish ordeal with this service and would strongly discourage anyone from soliciting their services. This practically-a-scam-operation preys upon desperate people unfamiliar with the State Department passport renewal process and are looking for a quick fix to their problems. This "business" will *ONLY* doublecheck your forms for completeness and express mail them to a Passport office with an available appointment. That's it. Should you have *ANY* problem with your passport (like we did), they are wholly incapable of providing helpful troubleshooting services or status updates -- everything fell back on us to verify with the State Dept. Believe it or not, the owner (Paul) unprofessionally escalated an argument with my husband, called him an "a$$h0le," and cruelly reduced him to tears by saying he didn't deserve to attend his best friend's wedding in Mexico. What was our great offense to trigger such an outburst? Fact: requesting daily updates and assistance to better understand State Dept processing timelines. (You know, supposedly Legal Passport's area of expertise??) On top of that, now that problems became apparent, they then had the audacity to insist we sign a "Refund policy" waiving all rights to reclaiming our $700 fee for their so-called service. Who does that?? Furthermore, Legal Passport introduced several unnecessary delays by their incompetence. For instance, the State Dept emailed us 5 weeks after beginning things indicating that our check-payment for expedited processing couldn't be accepted. Legal Passport failed to provide a form verification of this essential component of the application. Even worse, once the passport had finally been delivered to them, their Houston courier contacted us later that afternoon indicating he hadn't been sent the money to overnight mail us the renewed passport -- even though we had just spoken and sent it into their office that morning!! Recommendation: Save yourself the hassle and work with the State Department passport renewal agency directly. Legal Passport will take your money and not help. read more

I told him I was a customer, not "his buddy" and he said "you know what, I'm going to put you on hold." and proceeded to leave me there until I hung up. I called back and he just put the phone on a desk so I could hear everything he was doing. He never said a word. I've run a successful business for 40 years and if one of my employees every spoke to a customer like he spoke to me I'd fire them on the spot. I have never been treated so poorly. My husband and I reached out to Legal Passport to inquire about renewing my husband's passport. We spoke with Paul. My husband could barely get a word in without him interrupting and talking over him. We did not have definitive dates for our trip but had an idea of dates. Paul asked for our credit card and said that he would charge it when he placed the reservation for a time slot at the US Passport Agency. He sent us the renewal application via email. As we were reviewing the application, we saw that we needed to include definitive dates in the application. We did not have exact dates yet. So, my husband reached out to Paul via email and let him know that we are not able to finalize the paperwork quite yet and that we would get back to him as soon as we have dates. We did not think it was a problem and he would respond professionally and say that it wasn't an issue and to let him know when we had our trip finalized. He rudely responded and said "that is not what you said when you ordered" and inserted "boiler-plate" language about a no-refund policy for reserving courier time slots with the Passport Agency. He never made the reservation because he did not receive our paperwork! So that was a blatant lie. Shocked at the rude and inaccurate email, we realized that this was a shady company and did not want to use their services. We let him know that we will not be using their services and that they are absolutely not authorized to charge our card. What happens the next day? They charge our card. I then reached out to Paul over the phone and he yelled at me, interrupted me and said that I was wasting his time and that he could be answering all these calls if I wasn't bothering him with this. He said he was only giving me a refund so he never has to talk to me again. He then HUNG UP ON ME! I called back to speak with a manager named Joseph. I figured Joseph would be horrified by Paul's behavior. NOPE. He never apologized and just said we would get our refund. We finally received a refund a week and a half later. WORST company I have ever dealt with. Paul is unprofessional, rude and has a horribly pompous attitude. Per the other bad review of Legal Passport, we decided to go with the recommended "Visa by Castro" and I highly recommend them. They were fantastic and understanding. This company is an absolute fraud. I called to inquire about their service, they told me that I first must schedule an appointment with a Passport Acceptance Agency and only after make an appointment with them. They took my credit card information to keep on file so that when I call back they could process things faster... They had charged my number before I even scheduled an appointment with the acceptance agency. I called twice to speak to the manager, and both times they said he was 'busy' and would HOPEFULLY get back to me- when? 'we don't know'. I asked for a refund, and they said that they cannot refund the passport fees that they took WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. The man on the phone said I was informed about the no refund policy, which is an absolute lie, since: 1. He never said that to me. 2. I never submitted any documents or made any appointments with them 3. I never gave them my passport application. AND- their website clearly states "What We Can't Do Mislead you in any way about the status of your passport application. Be responsible for delays at the Passport Agency, FedEx delivery delays, or at consulates. Refund your Legal Passport fee if your documents are submitted to the government and then you change your mind. Refund your fee when you reserved a Same-Day or Three-Day Passport Agency appointment. We can not refund service fees when the Passport Agency does not issue your passport. We are a courier service and submit your documents in a timely manner, but we have no control over the integrity or quality of the customer's documents once sent, or the government's issuing or non-issuing of our customers' US passports. Forge documents or convince officials to give preferred treatment." Do yourself a favour, and don't even get close them - I am in a legal dispute them. read more
