Every single visit comes with some kind of mistake. Always small. Always avoidable. Always something that requires extra time and follow-up that I don't have. Examples: * I brought in my husband's shirt specifically to have the tag and loose threads removed. I clearly explained this at drop-off. When I picked it up, they had only dry cleaned it. The actual request wasn't done at all. * Another time, I brought in a piece to have a zipper fixed and explicitly said do not dry clean it. They dry cleaned it anyway -- and then charged me for it. * I brought in a sweater with multiple visible spots. When I picked it up, several spots were still there. I pointed this out to the manager, who told me it would be re-done at no additional cost. When I came back? There was an additional charge. This is the pattern. You have to micromanage every single instruction or something gets missed, ignored, or changed -- and then you're the one paying for it, either in money or time. I don't have the bandwidth to triple-check basic requests or argue over charges that shouldn't exist. Mistakes happen, but when it's every time, it's a systems problem. I'm done using them and wouldn't recommend this place if you value your time or expect instructions to be followed the first time.

I needed to find an alteration place that can help me with a zipper malfunction from a top I ordered online, which couldn't open all the way. When I walked in, Amanda (the owner) kindly greeted me with a warm smile and I explained my issue and her and her seamstress helped me right away. They were so kind and were able to fix the zipper problem without any wait or hassle. I think I found a new alteration place. I'm definitely coming back with a bunch of pants I need altered.

She responded by screaming at me and calling me obscenities. I informed the employee on duty, who clearly did not care at all. To make things worse, a homeless man then came in with a dog and started yelling at the staff because he couldn't access the restroom without money on his card. This place desperately needs better management--and honestly, security. As a paying customer, there's a basic level of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism that should be expected. I won't be back.

I told her the price of the shirts ($270 each as they were tailored and monogrammed) and said I needed them back and she started screaming nonsense at me. She told me to call back in 10 days to see if she could find it. Called back in 10 days and she called me a liar. I told her I have the itemized receipt for the dry cleaning as well as the paperwork for the suit from when it was made. She told me "shirts don't cost that much!" (Lol) And hung up on me multiple times. I told her I didn't want to get the police or small claims involved but I guess she wants to take it that far, so here we are. My mistake for going to this shitty looking dry cleaners in this shady parking lot just because it was close to my house! I recommend Boston Cleaners for anything of value. Then the best part - $114 worth of laundry, delivered back in a plastic bag. Not even a laundry bag for the privilege. I'm just overall disappointed. The lack of care, the expense for a "convenience" which is far from convienent, and then to boot, a plastic bag of $114 worth of "clean" clothes. It's a disgrace. Do better Tide Cleaners.

Yes, they eventually gave partial compensation, but not even close to the full value of the sweater, and only after all the back and forth. At that point, it felt less about customer care and more about avoiding responsibility. I would seriously not recommend bringing luxury, designer, sentimental, or expensive clothing here unless you're willing to risk it being damaged and then having to fight to be taken seriously afterward. As someone who is also Korean, this experience was especially disappointing to me. Most Korean business owners and families I know value respect, accountability, and treating customers properly, which is why this interaction felt so upsetting and uncharacteristic.

One particular dry cleaner told me to try the non-dry clean option, and that seemed to prevent my jeans from shrinking and fading. When I brought up my jeans shrinkage concern to the male owner of Smart Cleaners, he said dry cleaning would not result in my jeans fading or shrinking, and sure enough, my jeans were creased, unfaded, and did not shrink. I was torn on whether to give them a four or five rating because they seem to do excellent dry cleaning. However, their prices are high! Two pairs of jeans cost me fifteen dollars and change, and one dress shirt cost six dollars and change. I am someone who loves to dress, and my clothes are precious and irreplaceable, so it is paramount that when I drop clothes off at a dry cleaner, my clothes return to me in the same condition that I dropped them off. Based on my previously stated criteria, I must give them five stars despite their expensive service. Tip: if you drop clothes off before 10 am, they offer next-day rushed service at a 10% cost of your total order.
