    Lost lands 2019 #Dabthesky fam

My home away from home! I went to legend valley once in 2017. I returned 2019. Lost lands music festival (hosted by excision) was the reason I traveled from California to Ohio. I went the first year and had a blast. I skipped year 2(nocturnal wonderland another event was the same weekend) and just finished up my excursion for year 3! Even with the slight rain Friday in the campgrounds I had a blast! Great friends and music. The food was better year 1 lol Other than that though ‍ Legend valley itself is a beautiful venue and the dinosaur additions add to the flair of the venue

I've attended this venue two years running; the first for Punk in Drublic in 2018 and the second for the (retitled) Camp Anarchy in 2019. The first year was a chaotic mess with two of the headliners being kicked off the setlist three days before the festival began. They replaced these two with two others so the pain was manageable but nonetheless heartbreaking. The camping was cramped and uncomfortable, the security was unprofessional and seemingly unprepared, the "flea market" was a small collection of commercialized art vendors. Regardless, my group made the best of it. I rate this venue 5-Stars because the second year was the absolute opposite of the first. Everything was perfect from the renewed camping area to the much friendlier security; from the incredible bands to the refreshed "flea market" and activities like Giant Pong and Dodgeball. I had the greatest time and am so proud they turned it all around the second year! Will definitely attend again!

Poor crowd control understaffed and rude. Not a good large scale venue hopefully future artist will not subject their fans to this place

The hybrid/open air setup in the summer right along the water makes for a breezy island atmosphere. It backs up right against the bike path, which makes for amazing people watching also. It's definitely a staple area on the more 'touristy' side of the lake-- just a few steps from the Buckeye Lake Yacht Club. My favorite drink for those vacation vibes days has to be a mermaid water! Turquoise tangy sweet deliciousness. They also make great bloodys. If you want the extra fixins with all the toppings you might have to ask-- if you don't want them, you might end up getting them anyway and paying extra, it just depends on the bartender or how many toppings snacks they have that day. Either way they're both good, they're just different prices. They also have different food trucks that come there-- they're really good about using social media to tell which food truck they have that day and the times. That's also where you can find the schedule when they offer live music on the patio!

SEVEN WORDS: Decadent Comfort Food / Cozy, yet Upscale: Exquisite…read more. Dear Horvaths" Wow. Sincerely, Two Yelpers. . We found Horvaths on a Lark - traveling East on 70, then finding a Gas Station with WiFi and Searching out a Restaurant via Yelp. Although Horvaths was 3.4 Stars, it was 1st among local restaurants in our Search. Knowing that one of our ABSOLUTE FAVORITES, Red Lobster in Whitehall, is rated 3 L 2, we know that ratings can be sabotaged by Yelpers-for-Egos' Sake Users. Boy, were we right. . This place is a very Succinct 5-Star Stop. . As you Arrive, the Restaurant is very unassuming: a Two-Story Farmhouse with a 50' x 120' Rectangilar Footprint. The Parking pad fits about 18 cats/trucks, and a decent facade-wide porch allows hawkers to sit out front and eat. . Inside, the Foyer opens to a cozy coffee bar and after a shotgun hallway, a wall-length bar opens to a small dining area. Everything is appointed in a medium walnut tone, with a Wyoming Mountain Home feel to the Interior. It was Fantastically Cozy. . We started with the Seafood Sampler appetizer. It includes grilled Brussel Sprouts, Deep Fried Creany Crab Rangoon, and Coconut-Crusted Shrump. Each item was just about perfect: full of robust taste and cooked beyond all Expectations. Our Entrees were Simple: Thick-Cut Bologna for Me and a Rice Bowl for my Wife. Bothnof those were quite yummy. The Rice Bowl nearly tasted like a great polenta Bowl, with bits of Fresh Spinach and other Seasonal Veggies Added to the Healthy Mix. . For 1 Appetizer, 2 Entrees, and 2 Sodas, the Total came to $42. That's nearly unheard of these days. In fact, it leans into our Favorite 'Cheap Eats Slogan': "MorecAffordable than Raising Canes." . Darn Tootin. At $42 and for that Exquisite Amount of Quality, I wouldn't be Surprised if we made sure this was a Forced Detour in our Very Near Future. NOTHING LESS THAN Fantastic.

SOME OF THE BEST FOOD & DRINKS ON BUCKEYE LAKE...!!!…read more As we walked in on a Friday night, we saw a chalkboard outside that read "Steak Night! Filet Mignon or Ribeye with salad and 2 sides for $16.99! Add a crab cake for $3 more!" Guess what? It was good. REALLY GOOD. The Beach House Pub is in the former Beachcomber in Fairfield Beach, on the south side of the lake. But it's new ownership, a new menu, and they've brought new life into this place. There were 5 of us. We had pizza, wings, 2 steak dinners, a burger, drinks, etc. Everything was really good. The steaks were an absolute bargain. The ribeye was delicious. The filet was delicious. The $3 crab cake was really good. Drinks were strong and very well executed. Sarah, the new owner, was a manager at the Copper Penny for many years. She has absolutely, positively "upped her game" here - the Beach House is really good. REALLY good... We're thrilled, because we have a house nearby. Service was great. The live band was good. We got seated right away, and served right away. And it wasn't a madhouse, like some of the other places on the lake can be on a weekend during boating season. I'm sure it will get busier as people realize what a gem this has become. If you find yourself on the south side of Buckeye Lake any time soon, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Beach House Pub.
