I had eaten at the Legends before that's further out West, but this one on Pacific was new to me. I visited for an event in one of the party rooms so I can only speak to that experience, but I highly recommend them for that aspect! We rented the space for a going away party, and they had everything all situated when we arrived in the back room, so we had some privacy from the people in the actual restaurant. Our room had its own waitress who was on the ball with always taking drink orders and making sure nobody was left hanging. They also provided a jug of water and cups so everyone could stay hydrated themselves between alcoholic drinks. Food-wise, we had a few dips: chips and salsa, and crackers with spinach artichoke dip. They were large portions and both were very tasty and high quality. For larger food items, we had the buffalo chicken wings (bone in), and barbecue boneless chicken wings. I liked the boneless barbecue wings best because I'm a wimp about spicy buffalo sauce and I like my adult "chicken nuggets" (boneless wings). If you're considering renting one of the party rooms at Legends, I highly recommend it for an affordable option with great service! read more

Good selection of bar food choices. I went with a chicken Philly that had diced chicken with mushrooms, green peppers, & onions sautéed and topped with white cheese-good flavor. We have been coming here for our alumni football viewing parties for years. Legends gives us a party room, and puts our football game on the big screen. We enjoy ourselves while we cheer on our team. The food is typical bar food, nachos, wings, fries, hamburgers etc. read more

They over charged me by 150, yes it was fixed but it should not have happened, it you plan a party just know they charge 20% tip even though they provide zero services, had to go to bar for drinks, zero clean up we did it. read more

This was my very first visit to Legends located off of Pacific and 72nd Street in the Aksarben area. Parking is available and stretches down from the strip mall area. Legends is a bar and grill but the food is actually decent. I did not go with the standard burger and fries. I selected the steak and fries. The steak was very tasty and well cooked. The coleslaw was crisp and fresh along with the onion rings that were also freshly fried and prepared. Service was decent and prices were reasonable in my opinion. I wasn't concerned about what was playing on the multiple TVs and it wasn't overly loud with music playing in the background. read more

Me and the family was looking for a place to sit and eat, as we haven't since the pandemic started. We stopped at Legends, as it was closest option. Gotta be honest, the customer service wasn't bad at all (thus the 2 stars)... however the food..... *hangs head*. Entree: Chips w/ cheese. The chips tasted STALE as hell. Like "open bag, hard as a rock, flavorless" stale. I would not advise anyone to get anything that involves ANY kind of tortilla chip. Save yourself the disappointment. My meal: The club on white. Honestly, the sandwich was meh. There was nothing positive or negative, it just wasn't memorable in any way. Wife's meal: Nachos w/ all the fixings. Tasting this confirmed... "YOU DO NOT WANT ANY PARTS OF ANYTHING WITH TORTILLA CHIPS AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT." Kid 1: Philly cheese steak w/o mushrooms. The bread was the perfect temperature and extremely soft. However the meat... was cold (not sure how you pull that off, but they did). Plus kiddo spent the entire time pulling mushrooms out of the sandwich Kid 2: BBQ bacon burger. I can't really give any feedback as my goofy child drank two damn big @ss glasses of Coke and never even tasted the thing. However, she was very impressed by the fry she ate. Went there on Sunday evening. Despite having fifteen plus TV's and holding it as a sports bar/ restaurant almost all TV's showing replays of previous sports events and audio is loud bad Pandora. Clearly someone running things thought that was a good idea. Worse it was cheap Pandora with long annoying ads. Bartender was very nice and polite, but totally unaware to sports programming and no doubt liked the dumb Pandora. Food was awesome as usual, as was our waitress, but darn have some awareness and get rid of playing cheap annoying Pandora on a sports driven Sunday night. read more

It was obviously our servers' first serving job. I had to repeat our tables order to him 3 times. The combo we got was under cooked and doughy. We had to ask for boxes 3 times and eventually had to get them from another server. I could get over all of this, the reason for a 1 star which I wish I could give zero is for the over served intoxicated group of guys yelling throughout the restaurant walking back and fourth to the patio to smoke, and for a member of there group going into the family bathroom for 15 minutes (note this is the ONLY bathroom with a changing table) with a locked door, then emerging shoving a little baggy into his pocket and wiping his nose. Overall, I'm disgusted, and after I brought this to the attention of the staff, they did nothing. Will not be going back, and I suggest that no one take their children in that family restroom. read more

I don't go to many sports bars. But when I have in the past they've been attentive and had decent food. Unfortunately this must have been a not-so-good day for our server or the bartender. We ordered drinks at the table and I asked for a coffee (it was 1030 am) and water. The water took 10 minutes and the coffee tasted awful. I know - it's a sports bar and I ordered coffee - but it was freezing outside and 10:30 am. Why wouldn't people ask for that? I know I'm not the only one. The creamer that I put in the coffee was bad so she brought me another one. That's all fine - I'm not upset about that. But then after the game we were watching ended, someone in our group ordered another beer and we actually watched it sit on the bar for a solid 2-4 minutes before he got up and went to grab it from the bar himself. They were pretty lax that day considering it was a Nebraska game. They were not busy at all. I worked in and out of the hospitality industry for roughly 13 years in various roles. I know good service and I know when something is not right. I hope things get better. It's a nice space, well lit, large TVs everywhere - but you can't wait for a beer to get warm. read more

The service was good, food was decent (especially the wings), and there are plenty of TV's to see all the games. Very busy weekend with UNO graduation and Berkshire Hathaway meeting. Went in at 5:00 today and it was very busy. The Manager, John, was able to put together a few tables for our large group and we were seated immediately. Service was great even thought they were busy. Had the All in one sauce wings char grilled. Large wings, perfectly cooked and the sauce was amazing. The rest of our meal, taco salad, pizza, philly sandwich and a chicken wrap were spot on. We ordered takeout, my husband went to go pickup our order up after 15 minutes and they had forgotten about it already. He waited 25 minutes for the food. He did get the order for free but the food was awful. The wings we ordered were undercooked and not eatable. And the nachos were just chips with a crumbled hamburger on top, no cheese. I don't suggest trying it out, you will be disappointed! read more

When walking into this establishment it is just like any other sports bar or so me and my friends thought. My friends and I were eager to see half price appetizers till 6. We arrived at 5:30 so we had 30 minutes to scout out the menu and find what decadence we would be chowing on. This appetizer menu was not extensive and was not anything to write home about. The waitress waited until 5:59 to come back and take our order. We did tell her we needed a minute to decide after ordering drinks but she also knew that we wanted to order during happy hour. This extended wait put a lot of pressure on me and my friends purse strings. Luckily we got our order in right under the wire. My friends enjoyed there quesadillas and i enjoyed a salad and cheese curds that left me with an uneasy stomach. When getting our bill have of my friends noticed that there appetizers were not half off. Being broke college students we made sure to advocate for ourselves to have this corrected. The waitress fixed the discrepancies. Overall it was fine but definitely could find a better sports bar to go to in the area. read more

Bar and grill menus are always a little challenging for veggie eaters. I usually leave a dining experience overcharged for a veggie based entree vs meat and almost always still hungry after eating around half my plate items. I get it, we are sometimes a pain in the rear when we order things. I requested their nachos with added lettuce and the philly veggies on top instead of the meat options listed on menu. They accommodated me happily without eye rolling and I really appreciated it. My custom order was delicious and for $12 price it was a generous portioned app. I will definitely return for the same item in the future ! read more

When we got there the bartender expressed how bad he hates writing keno tickets , I played anyway & the bartender did not put my #s in correct. I asked the manager if he didn't know what he was doing & then the bartender told me I wrote the ticket & no I do not know what I'm doing, do you feel better now? I said just gimme my $ back & then we ate , after eating we realized the guy overcharged my buddy for the $8.99 lunch special that was clearly wrote on a huge board as soon as you walk in the door! They overcharged him & didn't even know what was written on the board!! This place isn't a bad sports and grill place. Lots of TVs and good beer. I had the nachos to start, they were just ok. The chips tasted half stale half fresh. Also a can of olives were on it. For the meal we had a burger and a crispy chicken salad. First the burger..... arrived VERY hot but way over cooked. Was completely well/over well done. The crispy chicken salad I wish I would have gotten something else. It looked like they poured a can of olives on it with all the liquid under the salad, some of the salad looked a little past its prime. The chicken tasted very good but not enough on the salad. So why the 3 star rating? It's just an average sports bar. Great to come here to have drinks and watch a game but I wouldn't reccommend the food. read more

My husband and I just walked out on Sat , July 23rd at 155 pm . I want to make sure they know who was working so they get the credit on the negative experience we had . We sat ourselves at the bar . The bartender didn't acknowledge us at all. Then he casually leans against the counter by the cash register , chatting with another co worker . Then he walks over and casually grabs a credit card to run . Finally he says " hi guys", which was first acknowledgement we had from him. Then he casually starts standing by cash register chatting with sane co worker. He didn't say " hi guys be with you in a minute " , nope just " hi Guys". So when he still didn't make one move towards us , which he hadn't yet ,and just acted like he didn't have much to do. So we got up and I said " you really need to work on your customer service ". He said he acknowledged us four times ???? Actually that sounded even worse . So you acknowledge someone four times and still don't walk towards them , give us water or a menu , or even make a move that you are going to help us?? That's even worse so thanks for pointing that out. You just made yourself lol as bad as the service was. No I definitely don't recommend this place . read more

My mother booked the party room for her 60 year mixer for Benson high school. I cant begin to tell you how very impressed they were with the facility, staff and service. Several said this was the BEST mixer they have had in 60 years! Arrived at Legends right after happy hour was over. Found a table on the patio. There was not a lot of people in the business. Did not receive service until I had to waive the waitress down then only was able order drinks and a appetizer. Waited for another thirty five minutes to order food. Basically the service was horrible the wait for food was over an hour we all got salad, blt and a wrap. Definitely will not be recommending this place to anyone anytime soon. SMFH!!!! read more

Not a bad neighborhood standby for bar food and drinks. We've been several times to hang out, watch a game or two. The patio is spacious, lots of tvs inside and out. Food is decent, but the service needs serious help. It has been beyond terrible every time I've visited and has yet to improve. Huge bummer for what could be a go-to spot in the area. read more

stopped in with my son for a bite to eat. the old bartender seemed ok at first, then proceeded to bash the owner of brazenhead. our wings came and he asked how they were. told him the taste was great but the skin on them were all slimy. he said it was because of the chicken. i wanted to explain to him that it was not the chicken. that the smaller ones were good, but the larger ones needed cooed more. before i could get it out of my mouth, he took the beer he just poured for me and dumped it. said that i was cut off from service and he would take off one order of wings. i was shocked and told him that he handled that all wrong. won't go back to either location. smh. read more

Went to this Legends on August 7th with co-workers during the evening. We were the only ones sitting in the patio later in the evening. 3 people came and sat in the patio area. They were warmly greeted by the wait staff showing they are regulars. A short time after arriving, they began to smoke marijuana. The waitress said something to them and they stopped. A little while later they began again. We asked them to stopped and an argument ensued. They refused. For this business to allow this behavior is a violation of their liquor license . I will not be back. I will go the Legends at Cherry Hills. They are the best. read more
