Ate here for the first time tonight. We had a party of four and everybody wanted a burger or sandwich, but I want pizza so this is why we chose to eat here. I really enjoyed my pizza and I believe everybody else in my party enjoyed their food. One of the dishes came out a little bit slow tonight, but the waitress apologized and made it right. All of the staff was very nice, the place was spacious and clean, although very busy when we walked in and again I really enjoyed the pizza. This would be a great place to watch your sports any day of the week and probably even more so on Sundays. I'll be back at some point definitely. read more

My son and I often come to Ref's on Sunday evenings. This time I ordered the boneless wings. What a horrible disappointment that was. The wings were burned to the point of almost all of them being charred black. Also were extremely dry. Showed the server the burnt wings and she took them back and brought out another batch, which wasn't much different, burnt areas on almost all of them. I took them home and gave them to our dog. read more

Clean, lots of TVs, pretty basic sports bar. Kitchy menu. Basic bar offerings. Had appetizers of mushrooms and cheese nuggets that were good. Service was pretty good one app came out with meal. We tried Ref's for the first time yesterday. It was an all-around good experience! The chicken wings were excellent, and the wines were good and attractively priced. Our server was very attentive and professional. The only negative was that the fried pickles were a bit overcooked. But it was a good sports-bar meal and we'll definitely be back. read more

Food is average bar food, nothing special. Waiter was terrible. Don't know if he was new or just didn't really care about what he was doing......Sat outside on the very nice patio and glad we did because inside was beyond loud. Today is just the third day open for this location. We decided to come in and try a few different appetizers and take home a pizza for late night snacking. We ordered cheese curds, loaded tater tots, Queso and chips, and boneless BBQ wings. For the most part it was your typical fried bar food. Nothing really stood out, but also nothing was bad. The pepperoni pizza is decent for a bar/grill setting. The staff was very friendly. Even though they were busy not only was our waitress attentive, but two other employees checked on us. The beer was cold and refreshing. They have a decent selection above your typical domestics. There were a ton of TVs full of preseason football and baseball. While nothing stood out as amazing, the overall experience was very good and we certainly will be back. read more

Update. I haven't dined-in since our initial visit shortly after the Ref's in West Omaha opened, but I have ordered wings to go 2-3 times, and they have done those right every time. I'd put Ref's wings in contention with Oscar's (West Center at Lakeside) and Salty Dawg (Counciltucky). Definitely better than Lighthouse, BWW, Wingstop, and others. So kudos, Ref's: I'm upping my rating. Please don't disappoint the next time I bring the family in for a meal. read more

This was our 3rd time back and the food and service was both very good. I feel they had a rough start with it being very busy right from the start, but now I feel things are much better. I can tell by a few of the previous reviews that this place is still working out some kinks having just opened. As a member of the Yelp community, I would implore you to have some grace. I can't imagine how hard it is to open a new restaurant let alone find good help right now. With that being said, we had a great night at Ref's! The service was extremely attentive, with our waitress and several others swinging by periodically- the plates never sat and the glasses never got empty. We love Broccoli Bites, and were pleased to see this underrated gem on the menu- we also LOVE wings and Ref's did NOT disappoint. They were plump, sauced, and charred to perfection! Pair that with the "good ranch", and you've got a masterpiece. We tried Terriyaki but would love to try the Gochujang next. Prices are very fair, and the place looked spotlessly clean! Morgan our waitress spent more time with her friends on the patio than taking care of our table. I had to go up to the bar and ask for her 3 times. I found her the last time on the patio sitting at a table with friends, drinking and eating. Her comment to me was, I was taking an order. She is not representing your company in a positive way. Morgan is not interested in taking care of customers she is in the wrong business. As far as atmosphere and food all was good. Just the server NOT. First time at this location and loved it! Very clean, polite staff, and tons of room! Great selection of food with lots of meat, vegetarian, and even vegan options. Went with the lunch pizza special which was fast and delicious, also tried out the fried avocado, which was amazing! Do NOT miss their Monday special! Succulent, tender roast beef perfectly seasoned with mashed potatoes and gravy. A surprise under the massive beef is a delicious crunchy butter-toasted bread. We have never been to the other Ref's location but wanted to give the new place a shot as it's very close to our home. To start the service was fantastic. Our server was very attentive and friendly, she didn't rush us yet realized that we were in a hurry and got things moving quick! I had the traditional charred wings and they were great. My fiancé had a Buffalo chicken salad and she liked it as well. We went in expecting average bar food but ended up getting a great meal and we will definitely be back. The location is very open and lots of TVs. My only recommendation would be not to bring the heavy duty floor cleaner out during lunch rush as it was very noisy, but at least we know that you guys keep a clean place! We called to check if nfl Jaguars game was on Sunday around 11:30a. We showed up 30 mins later and to our unbelievable surprise they had a "reserved" table sign sitting front & center of their big screen with the game! When my husband walked in with his jaguars gear on they said "are you the one that called about the game? We have your table here for you". Just Wow!!! Also they have super attentive wait staff. BEWARE!! If you use a credit card to pay your tab, keep a close eye on it. We recently visited and when asked to pay our bill, they took our credit card, low and behold...they told us that they were completely offline and disappeared into the back room along with our credit card. The waiter, Zach was gone a very long time with our credit card and when he finally reappeared, he was able to produce our bill and card. We signed, tipped and left. We did not use our credit card again after that day which was a Wednesday night. On Saturday, our card had been used at the Casey's store 6113, 3 times in a row for the following transactions: $150, $150 and $149.18. We have spoken with authorities and Casey's is going to produce camera images and signatures of the person who did this. The fraud department with our bank is following up on their side as well. Entered the bar at 2:00. Took more than 5 minutes to be addressed at the bar. Ordered an iced tea and received promptly. Ordered personal sized ham and pineapple pizza and a caesar salad. Bartender asks me three times if my pizza order is sausage and pineapple. I tell him no, HAM and pineapple. 20 minutes later, no pizza, no salad and no refill on my drink. Finally, pizza shows up. Guess what, sausage and pineapple. Still no salad. I asked about my salad and h he said , oh I forgot. 5 minutes later. I got my salad. Poor service, wrong food. read more

Stopped in for food and drinks, kitchen was closed early and was told last call at 9:45 pm even though it says their open until 12:00. We were watching the game and she shut off the tv's and asked us to finish up after just serving us our drinks. I asked if we could watch the game until we finished and she said no.
