We had lunch on Friday July 31. Ordered the Pastrami Reuben and their Signature Burger, both with French fries. The Reuben and fries were very greasy and the burger was dry, not what one would expect when the bill was $40.00. My fries looked like they were the left overs from a few previous orders, small and lumped together, the kind one would normally throw out. The waitress was great and offered to replace them but I had lost my apatite. We had to wait a long time before we got our order even though the restaurant was not very bust when wee arrived, must have been the cooks day off. Wonderful food mediocre service. We walked in a lunchtime during the Christmas market opening. We had to wait a few minutes before staff showed up to seat us. Usually I'm pretty graceful about that but the restaurant was pretty empty so I didn't understand the wait. The food we got was delicious . We got the same sandwich, the turkey and Brie but I had a Greek salad and my lunch partner had the Parmesan truffle fries for a side. Again sandwich was seriously warm and balanced and delicious. The salad was just that a Greek salad. The Parmesan fries were really good as well. They were freshly cooked and well seasoned plus the added truffle oil and Parmesan just made them chef's kiss. Mine was good; no complaints. He had the wagyu burger. It was a disaster. As he ate it, it bled out ALL over the plate and disintegrated so he could no longer pick it up to eat it. He had to eat the rest with a fork. The blood filled the plate and looked pretty unappetizing. He has had many burgers before, but none that needed his own blood bag. We came here on a Sunday night with a reservation which was most definitely not needed because the place only had two other parties. Our server was incredibly kind and attentive. He told us that this restaurant hasn't had a lot of business due to covid and the business of the equestrian center. We started with the tuna tacos and she crab soup. In my opinion, both were just okay but my the rest of my party really enjoyed them. I thought the tuna didn't taste very fresh and found pieces of shell in the soup. The rest of my party ordered steak which was absolutely delicious. I order the salmon which was great I just thought the presentation was a little strange. The food was good just the prices a little high for the quality. Overall I would definitely come back here and recommend it to others. Our reservation was for 6:30 and we arrived on time. It was for 11 people but 2 got added at the last minute. The restaurant was full. We got our drinks ordered right away but it took 30 minutes for them to arrive. We ordered appetizers and then, finally at 8 o'clock we got to order our main meal. We finally got out of there at 9:30! Our waitress was very nice but was running her legs off between serving tables inside and outside! I can't say enough good about her as she was doing the best she could under the circumstances. We only saw one other waitress in the whole restaurant during our 3 hour event. This place is on site of an equestrian facility with limited options for food. It is a drive to find other options than fast food but we are going to find something as this is unacceptable. Exploring around the new neighborhood and we had to pass by since we heard to much about this establishment. We walked the grounds and we're absolutely overwhelmed with all of the attractions and there are so many choices for dining. We felt like being St Patrick's Day and all let's go no out and have a proper pint and meal. We were immediately greeted by the sweetest and vivacious lady (Joanie) we've meet so far. She gave us all of the inside information about the upcoming events and attractions. She was so welcoming and personable. Management did a wonderful job hiring her. We sat down and we're immediately greeted by our serve (David Wagner). He brought these cheese biscuit breads which were absolutely AMAZING!!!!! He was very knowledgeable of the menu/dishes and gave us some great recommendations. The wifey ordered the ahi tuna tacos (large portion) and they tasted great. Crispy, fresh, filling and fresh. I ordered some appetizers the truffle mac and cheese as well as the braised tenderloin quesadillas. The mac and cheese was good however the tenderloin quesadilla tasted soooo good. All the food was flavorful and fresh. The establishment has plenty of seating and the live band is a big plus. What an great place to kick back and enjoy a meal. We highly recommend the place to anyone who wants to get out and have a fun day/evening. Can't wait until our next visit. read more

Pleasantly surprised. The reviews were not that great so we were not expecting much. On the contrary, the food was very good. I had a beef tenderloin salad. It was a good -sized portion of filet, no fat at all and grilled perfectly. It included avocado, an egg, roasted red onions and roquefort cheese. Delicious! Great iced tea, also. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. I loved the atmosphere, too. A great wood smell permeates the restaurant. Sophia had the Cobb salad. She liked it because it had olives, bacon and roquefort cheese. She doesn't like ham, so the kitchen accommodated her by giving her extra turkey instead. Overall, a great dining experience. I wish I had the option to give this place 0 stars. Me and 5 other girlfriends were in town and rented an Air BNB to get the cabin experience for a 35th birthday. We came here as some what of a classy fine dining experience and we left, with a feeling of disgust. We arrived at 920pm , saw they closed at 10, so we called before walking in asking were they still sweating and they advised they were. Jen we walked in, we were seated and the waitress came over. We all ordered our food and she bought bread out. She left our table and didn't return anymore until the food was about to come out. When she came to the table, we asked her to bring more bread. At that moment she says, "your food is about to come out". The food comes out and, she misses the other plate of asparagus that we ordered, so she leaves to the kitchen. While she's gone, one of my friends cuts her steak and realizes it isn't the temperature that she ordered and she didn't want to eat it. By the time the waitress came back to the table, which was 10 mins, my friend was eating her other sides and no longer wanted to eat the steak. The waitress comes to the table with the asparagus that she left off originally, and my friend tells her that her steak isn't the right temperature and she doesn't want it. The waitress then says, "well it's half eaten". My friend took a bite of the steak because she wanted to taste it because if it was ok to her liking, she was just going to go ahead and eat it. The waitress never apologies for the food being wrong and immediately gets offensive. She says, "it's not that hard, I'll just send it back and cook it longer, it's not that hard". We all couldn't believe that she even had the audacity to say that. The entire experience was so disappointing and disgusting for a server to act like that. We asked for her manager and she told us that she was the manager for the night. I didn't get her name, but she was horrific! read more

Like a full beer sitting in front of you & she asked, would you like another beer. Our cold sandwiches took eternity to arrive, even though our inept waitress told us they were being cooked. Don't know how that was going to happen, since we ordered pastrami on rye. Guess toasting the bread, was classifying as cooking in her mind. We did not eat there, so this is a review on this experience. One week before Mother's Day, I went on Facebook and asked if they were doing anything special for that day. The answer was no, but were still having the normal brunch. So, decided for Mother's Day, we would have a nice Brunch and then watch some of the Equestrian Competition. The Brunch started at 10:30 according to the time on their site. We get there and there isn't a customer about. I go in to see what's up about 10:30 and was told by the Host, Chef and waiter talking to each other at the host station that they stopped serving Brunch a couple weeks ago and they don't start serving lunch until 11:00. Why does time posted on door still say you open at 10:00 on Sunday? Oh, we haven't got around to changing it. What a treat to get real food with real silverware at a horse show. Our group of four all really enjoyed our meals. I had the charcuterie board which I don't think is still on the menu. Our second trip to Tryon International's Legends Grille....again a disappointment. Ordered the large shrimp cocktail and it came out with the shell on and slit down the back. We could see the meat looked funny but tried a piece to confirm that it was a mealy nasty texture like frozen shrimp that is thawed quickly under water....awful! The waitress took it to the kitchen and said we helped others that night as they will not serve the shrimp any more. How about doing something novel and catching this in the kitchen? Our first meal one week ago was incorrect on three items!!! The eggs Benedict was supposed to have a tomato hollandaise sauce but was served with plain. This was a visual mistake both the kitchen and the waitress should have caught. My daughter's dish was to have a relish served with the sandwich but it was missing.... The chef stopped by our table and I let him know the food while tasty was not what was ordered and items were missing. I pointed out the "Monte Cristo" 's menu description mentioned the classic sandwich dip and fried but came out with soggy grilled french toast with an egg inside. NOT a Monte Cristo. The Chef said let him make it up and offered us dessert. My daughter ordered the "warm cookie" plate while I ran an errand. She called me with a plate of COLD cookies in front of her. She called the waitress over and she picked up the cookie and could not believe how cols it was. She took it back to the kitchen and I believe they microwaved the same cookies and brought them out. My biggest complaint is I came in two other times for an an appetizer and a drink and Brian at the bar is an arrogant jerk. He thought I asked him for a bar drink menu and he almost bit my head off and went into a rant about being a Master Mixologist. I said that is not even what I asked! This is our second visit to Legends! First visit with a party of 6 was awesome! Tonight's dinner was not planned, so it was understandable that we had a 30 minute wait for our table for two! We were seated at 7:30 pm and ordered our appetizer, salads and my entree! The appetizer calamari was extremely salty! The salads were okay (Caesar & a spinach salad) but not great! My entree was Med. Rare lamb tenderloin and his was the Chix tenders appetizer served as an entree! We waited patiently for our entree's and noticed other guest who arrived after us were getting their food! After several inquiries about what was taking it so long, and an hour later, the waitstaff came out and apologized and said the kitchen lost the ticket! By then we were tired of waiting and decided to pay for what we had already eaten and just leave! The front of the house manager apologized and said Saturday evenings are usually busy and we were not the only customers complaining! Had an early dinner here last night with two other couples and we have mixed reviews. Our bar orders were excellent with enthusiastic comments to the dirty martinis. We all ordered salads - the Caesar, which was excellent, and the Bibb lettuce with blue cheese. The latter was pretty poor. They arrived without blue cheese and without dressing. We sent back for blue cheese, but all we got was a few crumbles. I finally had to say that my salad was inedibly bland and had to explicitly request some blue cheese dressing. Of course, when I got it, my entre had arrived. Two people in our party had ordered steaks, a filet and a rib eye. Both were cooked perfectly and were delicious. The sides served with the rib eye were good. The filet was supposed to be accompanied by mashed potatoes, which were just a thin smear across the plate, along with half a dozen or so English peas and a couple of string beans. Two of us ordered lobster risotto which was good, but not excellent. Overall, the experience was good, but not outstanding, which it should have been considering the price. read more
