Stopped at this place on our way home from a road trip. They didn't have 3 different things that we wanted to order from the menu. We waited for an hour for a hamburger, chilli dog and a side salad. When the waitress delivered the food she apologized for not having any silverware because they were all dirty! The food we got was gross, I've never seen a more putrid tomato in my life.the greens were wilted and the burger cooked to death. You can go one night without a meal!... Ordered the tacos with homemade chips. The chips were overcooked, thus no flavor to them. The tacos were corn tortillas double layered with a sprinkling of shredded cheese. The filling was beef that had no seasoning and 1/4 of the meat was burnt!!! I had to ask for hot sauce, taco sauce of which they said they had salsa, which I took. The salsa should have been automatically part of the order. The tacos were very dry because of the overcooked meat. The only way I was able to get the food down was by drinking the lemonade. I ate what I could because I hadn't eaten all day and I saw where there was a new owner. I definitely won't be returning to this place. I didn't even eat all the food, that is how bad it was. Found this place because of reviews and we were happy we did. We never think to take photos when the food arrives because we are focused on eating. My son had the turkey bacon and avocado sandwich and loved it. Hubby had the Wolverine burger and enjoyed it. I had the Dip and loved it after adding onions and mushrooms. The daughter had a salad and wasn't thrilled (but honestly that 21 year old is constantly angry due to lack of carbs). The only down was our table wasn't all the way clean. Also, stepped into the bathroom and that needs a new floor- pretty gross. Even with that, we would totally be back. Plus, our server was a sweetheart. read more

Omgosh! This place is the real deal! We were driving through Weiser on our way to McCall. Legends was highly rated so we gave it a try. The fish tacos were amazing! Stopped in Weiser for the night on a road trip. Legends on Main looked decent so stopped in with my GF. The dining room was pretty full and a lot of customers seemed to be looking around waiting for service. There was one waitress who was obviously struggling to keep up with the demands of the dining room. Not sure if someone called out or what but the poor gal seemed flustered and scattered, missing drink requests and that type of thing. I knew we were in for a long wait and what would have been nice is if any of the 4 TVs were on something to keep the diner's attention but none were on. I asked if I could help by turning them to something for the room and was handed a basket full of remotes that were labeled incorrectly. Of the 8 taps, 5 of the draft beers were out so went with an 805. I'm fairly certain the glasses were 20oz and were super cheap for what I expected so that was nice! Went with the special which was a chili burger w/ fries and a half salad to split. The fries were cold and unseasoned. The chili burger was literally just canned chili and onions on a super basic bun w/ patty. The salad was also nothing special but a decent size (I think she may have given us a full helping when we ordered half). We ordered blue cheese but that is not what we got. The food at this establishment was not up to reviews we read! We had a group of 7 people and waited for 46 minutes for simple food fare. There was only two other in the place and no unsweet tea! So the new cook that we were informed about after 30 minutes will probably get faster as she gets more experience. read more

We've been in the road for several weeks. Have eaten at lots of pubs/grills along the way. None, and I mean none, compare to this. The best food we've had in over 1300 miles of travel. Legends is a great place to eat! The atmosphere is that of a cool downtown Boise pub! Some great beer selections! The food is delicious! The Legend Burger is the bomb! Grilled Turkey bacon avocado is another delicious choice! Their hot dogs are HUGE! All beef Nathan's brand! Prime rib is an often Friday special and it's really good! The grilled fish tacos are really good! And last but not least.....The Jalapeño Popper!!! I don't know what Carlos does to them, but I've had popper all over and Carlos's poppers are THE BEST! He perfectly wraps each popper with bacon so none of the insides come out! Then they are deep fried to perfection! The pepper actually stays fresh and the bacon is delicious! You can order the Bases Loaded appetizer, big enough to share or keep as your own meal, and it comes with Sliders, wings, poppers, and garlic aioli fries. THAT is my favorite thing to order! And, the service is ALWAYS amazing! If you're heading through Weiser, Idaho, stop for lunch or dinner and give them a try! You won't regret it! read more
