This cart gets great reviews for a reason! We got Barbacoa and chicken tacos. The barbacoa was tender, flavorful, all the right things. Sometimes chicken tacos lack luster and they give you diced-ish chicken. Not here! It's tinga style chicken, so it's shredded and juicy and a teeny bit spicy. Tacos are traditional- cilantro, onion, protein, and they add a good salsa on top too! The red sauce is pretty hot, if you're into that. But, the tortillas! They are homemade and they are like soft little pillows to cradle your food. They don't fall apart either, like a lot of corn tortillas do when you pick them up. They are so, so good. Wish I could buy a bag.

Good flavor and plenty of sauce and cheese in the enchiladas. Taste of the meat was on point. They had green and red homemade sauces, nice flavors, the red was not real hot. The squeeze had the three taco plate, which of course had the beans and rice. She chose the carne asada as well. We swapped a taco and enchilada. The tortillas got a little stiff on the last taco, almost became a tostada. There is a soda fountain for self help drinks. Service was good, very attentive. It was certainly a good lunch. I really can't say it was better than other places I have eaten. The single bathroom needs help, kind of dirty but didn't smell. Maybe a cheap makeover with some fresh paint.

Chimichanga's are my weakness, and they had a very good version, mine made with chicken. Others very much enjoyed their meals as well, with two of our group taking leftovers to enjoy another meal. We had one problem with apparently one of our dishes made wrong. The manager (owner?) asked to clarify what we ordered, and immediately went back to take care of it! I could have taken what they made, but he wanted to make things right. Excellent customer service! El Kamaron has done a great job with their interior decor, seating layout, has a full bar, and an extensive menu that includes quite a bit of seafood options! It's the Torres Mariscos that sold me on trying this place and it didn't disappoint! This is a menu item that you'd see regularly in a beach town in Mexico like in Nayarit, MX!
