In summary Messed up the order and didn't take ownership Dry Asada Fries with little flavor even with the guac and sour We called in an order of Asada Fries that costed $18. We asked what was on it and the lady said meat beans onions cheese with guac and sour on the side. There was no mention of jalapenos. She said we could do half asada half chicken. When we got the fries there were no beans and there was jalapenos which we were not notified about. It was dry and unflavorful. The cheese was coagulated I can't stand when cheese clumps up and sticks to very few fries instead of being distributed. Hubby forgot to call back until a day or two later they said the lady who took our order wasn't in I don't care who took my order If I say my order wasn't right then anybody should be able to fix it I shouldn't have to wait till that person comes back in. Why would I lie about beans? All Im asking for is credit for the beans. Not like I'm asking for an entire meal comp. We only chose to eat there because they said they put beans on the fries. Not every restaurant puts beans on the fries, you have to pay extra. This messed up my entire meal and experience with them, not to mention on my anniversary. We do things low key . Well I don't come to this town but we was in town so dropped by. I can say it was clean to a point were the smell of whatever they put on the floor was choking us out & can taste it! That's not good! But the food was good. There was one guy at the bar then us (3) she was more interested in the guy than us I guess.. I mean maybe will try it again cause my taco was good. They have tvs too. The Service was alright and so was the food! It didn't take long to receive food and It wasn't that expenses either.

Was in town on business recently, it was the end of a long day and Jocy's was a short walk from the only hotel in town. This Athentic Mexican restaurant is a few blocks away totally walkable and a local eatery not like all the fast food chain places immediately next to the hotel. A basic restaurant with a bar, there are a few booths and a few tables with chairs along with a handful of stools at the bar. The lady running the bar was also our server and worked solo the night of my visit running the front of the house. She was pleasant and made our meal that much more enjoyable. After a couple minutes looking over the menu I went for the Chili Colorado, a nice generous portion of tender pork smoothered in a rich red sauce with a few tortillas and rice with beans on the side. Along with an ice cold DosXX after a long day, it hit the spot. The house salsa was very good as well, the "hot" sauce was hot but not insane more adobo. 2/3/24 Veggie breakfast burrito with ham added & pancakes ordered with hot sauce added. The worker was kind and said it would be ready in 15 min. I went in to get it. The restaurant is nice. I always use to like to come here. But now they're just being shady with their prices!! Yes they have a sign on the front door saying their prices can change daily. SHAMEFUL UNBELIEVABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE... On Wednesday March 5 2025 my family and I were invited for a food tasting - antojitos sample tasting - dj booth visual - dance visual etc... for my daughters upcoming quinciñera at Hacienda La Alborada. Sandra, the owner of the venue, invited my family of approximately 10 people altogether to a small hosting of what we can expect the day of the quinciñera. There were other families as well who attended. I have a son who is 12 years old and my daughter who is 13. As my mother and I were visiting other booths my son, my daughter and their aunt went to Jocy's Mexican Restaurants' booth to try 1 of the three sample plates they had laid out. My son asked for the spaghetti and chicken plate and the man stared at him didn't serve him and ignored my son my daughter and their aunts presence. My sister (the aunt) is 20 years old so she spoke up and asked if they can please get a sample plate. The man in a rudely manner didn't speak but got some spaghetti through it on a plate and handed it to my son. My sister looked at my son in disbelief and got the plate from my son handed it to the man and asked him for the chicken as it was presented on the sample plates that were on the side for everyone to see. No words were returned the man threw the chicken on the plate and my sister son and daughter went to sit down. I didn't know this had all happened until my mom and I went to try a sample plate and he was being rude. We asked politely what the plates consisted of and he pointed to the counter that's what it is go take a look. In my opinion you give an explanation of what the plates consist of not point at the sample plates and take a guess. I asked him if he was going to give Miss a sample or if it was just visuals he was promoting. He then handed us a plate in a very mean manner. I sat down with my family at the table they chose and expressed what had just happened to my mother and I. My sister then let me know her situation with my kids. I cried of disbelief I couldn't believe this man who is supposed to be promoting his business belittled my little 12 year old son, myself, my sister my mom and my daughter. I've been a couple of times here. The service was good. I felt bad for the waitress because it was just her working the tables alone and it was getting busy. Knocked a couple of stars off because I had to get up to ask for a glass of water. The food was ok. My Bf ordered the shrimp a la diabla and he said it was spicy spicy... too spicy for my liking. I ordered the large #8 with two tacos and burrito. I got two chicken tacos which was boiled chicken. Lacked flavor but with their salsa was a little better. The chili verde burrito was good. Called in for a burrito so I wouldn't wasted time for my lunch, when I got there they told me the order was never made.

I went to Jocy's order tostadas in person got home they had gave me tortas called back they saw they made the error, but the person kept telling me that the tostadas were cheaper than the torta that's not what I asked for. I didn't wanna eat a torta. I wanted a tostada instead of resolving the issue. She just kept saying it was cheaper. I wouldn't lose any money. I lost what I wanted to eat and my time I drove to flower I would not go back to the restaurant because of the customer service. read more

My family & I walked in on a Friday at 5pm and were the only guests. We were seated quickly, but the drinks & food took a while to come out. Our entrees were great. We loved the chicken fajitas, 10/10! However, wasn't a fan of their complimentary chips & salsa - chips were hard and the salsa lacked flavor. Towards the end of our meal, the bar got busy with loud, obnoxious guests. One guy in particular ruined it for us so we flagged our server down to grab our check as fast as we could. Note the restaurant is one big room with a large bar right at the entrance. So I wouldn't say it's kid/family friendly. For mother's day I wanted my favorite carnitas burrito with guacamole and pico de gallo not spicy. To husband's surprise, this bill came out to $22.00. It was a big burrito but it didn't have any guacamole in it nor a cup on the side for the extra price of 4.25. My burrito was a bit spicy and let's not forget about the old and stale chips I couldn't eat. I was so disappointed that I promise I'll never go back there again. Met a friend here for lunch...twice and both times it was terrific. I try to eat light during the week so just a couple of shrimp tacos, ice tea and complementary chips and salsa will do. If I could give no stars I definitely would. I'm not one to complain but today I placed an order online and was set to be ready 30 minutes later. 30 min later I arrive after a couple of minutes of standing there I was finally acknowledged. I tried to explain that I was there to pick up my online order when the waitress rudely interrupted that it would be over an hour wait. Again I then explained I was there to pick up my order that was set to be ready minutes ago. She said it would take a couple more minutes. I decided I would come back in 10 minutes. 10 minutes later I'm back and again am not acknowledged despite standing right in front of the register. The waitress walked past me a couple times and a couple minutes later I asked if my order was ready. She then said oh let me check, knowing well they hadn't even started my order. She then said it would be a couple minutes so I asked if my order had even started being made yet. She finally said no and I asked if it was possible to just be refunded. Annoyingly she said I'd have to do it online since it was placed online. It didn't give me an option to cancel online so I asked politely if she could refund me in person. 10 minutes later she did and gave me my receipt without a word even after thanking her. Be careful of this place!!!! They don't have a set price on there menu for a reason. Before ordering We ask the waiter for the prices of certain dishes that we were interested in. She tells us the price . Then after we were done eating I ask for the check what should of been a $34 meal for 2 people ended up being $54 There were made up custom charges of 2.50 multiple times and 3.00 once and 2.99 for soda and misc charge of 1.00 for a glass of water. I ordered chips and salsa, not knowing if we'd get any complimentary (it's hit or miss when you order online). We paid $2.25 for them (which I later saw when entering the restaurant there is a 3.25% mark up for credit cards). We got home and there were no chips and salsa. I also had to wait for pretty much everyone in the restaurant and a ringing phone to be answered before anyone even said hello to me, even though my order was sitting there waiting. They also had mask signs everywhere before entering, but not a mask in sight other than the one I was wearing.
