Are not to be at all the case with this establishment. I thought they were absolutely wonderful!, Incredibly on point... Very organized, courteous, beyond professional... The place was quick and thorough and they have a great little gift shop with fabulous cards you can buy... Sometimes the best cards are at the car wash! I paid 39.99 for mine and got the silver wash... Rivan was the man who helped me when I first pulled up. I told him I wanted to put a bottle of water from my car into my window washer fluid... I was going to do it myself, and he kindly offered immediately to do it for me. So nice! And in the car wash that I bought... It comes with an interior scent. I'm not a fan of these scent sprays in those packages so I asked if I could swap that out for one of the little scented trees in the gift shop. He said no problem... I thought that was incredible! Everybody here is really nice and you get the feeling that there's a lot of really good teamwork going on here... And they even have a little coffee station and a very lovely waiting room with beautiful leather, modern furniture... They took a lot of time to detailing my interior and dressing my tires with the shiny stuff... Felt like a very luxurious experience and I think the price is incredibly fair. when I came out to my car, the gentleman who had been wiping my interior dashboard... I asked him if I could use the towel and just wipe a couple spots that were bothering my OCD... He gave me the towel, no problem and was so kind and sweet towards me. I love this place! This is my new place... I used to go to the one on Pacific Highway down by Seaport Village... And I live over there! I happened to be in La Jolla today so I came here but this is now going to be my new car wash... They are the best! So happy... I even tipped five dollars on top of the car wash. So well worth it.

They offer anything from a quick drive thru wash with a hand dry after, to full details. I've had a couple people try to sneak in when there were people waiting who entered via Garnet. 3) I think over time, the hose lengths for the main sprayer/Brush have reduced a bit (maybe as they fix issues). With a full sized car, it's getting tight to get around the car to all the nooks and crannies. I drove to shell and when I walked in I saw a young African American male and a 20-30 something year old lady at the counter. I came in and smiled and asked for an application. The woman (Whom I later found out was Cynthia, looked at me like I had shot on my shirt. It was the young man who assisted me and gave me the application to fill out. I went to an empty counter to fill out my application and when I was finished there was another different cashier on duty. Cynthia was no where to be found. I asked to speak with a manager , since I was already there and filled out an application. This lady went to her office and SHUT THE DOOR!! She knew I was there for a possible interview. The new cashier had to coax her out to speak with me. She fed me a bunch of bullshit and stated she would get back with me. My resume and application shows that I have experience working at gas stations and mini marts. I think I was just rude for her to be a manager, never introduce herself, then go to her office and shut the door, knowing someone was seeking a job. I don't know what they are looking for ,but a month later they had another add stating "Shell in Torrey Pines is "STILL"hiring. Being a manager, you should judge by work experience, not because they don't have the "look"you're attracted to.
