The service at this location made my holiday season. I had called several other locations in Denver metro about the highly sought after Gingerbread ATAT. As luck would have it I hit the right day and they had gotten a truck in that morning with a few. I was ready to be told a number of things but to my surprise Matthew advised me that he could hold on for me till close of business. I was so excited to have found it and the willingness to delight a customer was their first priority espically since it was an hour drive away 1 way to get to it. The entire staff from the moment I walked into the store was great and seemed genuinely glad they were able help me give a young man a Christmas wish. My son and I stopped into this Lego store while traveling through the area. We found a wide range of Lego sets for all ages: several new sets to look at, cool seasonal items, and some old favorites. The Lego building station was fun and we were greeted by several friendly staff members. Rebecca in particular made sure that this experience was special for us. She was interested in my son's building projects and offered him some fun freebies to take home. Getting our Lego passport stamped was fun, too. We'll be sure to stop back again! read more

Pretty cool Lego store that's packed to the gills normally. You can find the rare occasion where it's not as packed and it's a joy to explore. This is a pretty popping store with mini figure maker, sets always in stock, extra pieces, and a staff that's always willing to help. I am a fan of always checking out this store with the upcoming sets and builds they are even willing to show you some of the upcoming stuff if they have already built it which is awesome (even when it's not out being shown). The staff always tells you about the current promotions currently happening and usually has a great amount of knowledge on anything Lego. It seems as if everyone working here has a deep love for Lego and this is the job they have always wanted. 10/10 Lego store read more

Alright LEGO, clever way to get me into the store. They started making more grown, and advanced LEGO displays for sale and demo'd. It is one of the smaller stores I remember, which is saying something as I am four feet tall anyway. But they had a lot of more advanced options to build. My boyfriend and I came here to make ourselves as Legos as a date night idea. It was such a fun little activity for us to do that was also cheaper than we thought it would be. We started by designing what torso we wanted. You can get really creative if you want and draw whatever you want or add text. Or, if you're artistically challenged like me, you can just choose one of their designs and add stickers. After these were 3D printed, we got to search through a collections of heads, hair/hats, bottoms, and accessories. It was fun finding different fun parts to complete our Lego mini figures. We were very happy with the outcome. It was also fun getting to walk around and look at all the cool Lego sets (many which were way out of our price range). If you're looking for a unique date night idea, I would definitely consider this! If you're going on a weekend, I would make an appointment online. This Lego store @ Colorado Mills Mall always has something new and wild to showcase, at every visit! This is one of the best LEGO store locations in Denver! Possibly even bigger than the Park Meadows Mall location? employees are simply the best! Very knowledgeable staff that are willing to go above and beyond. The store is always well maintained and normally what you are looking for is there. Thank you very much Lego store and employees. I really enjoyed seeing their Disney Lego Line, with The Little Mermaid, Mickey Mouse and Frozen. These brands came with hundreds of little pieces to make such a customizable masterpiece. I was definitely blown away by the expanding classic sets. I really enjoyed the Inner-City passenger Train set and the Lego Main Street set, which were produced in 1980 and had between 500 and 800 pieces, Lego now manufactures sets that boast of thousands of pieces. Anyone who's anyone loves Lego! Colorado Mills just so happens to be my favorite one. read more

I've always had great experiences at Lego - CO Mills. I prefer the team here over Park Meadows because they are so welcoming and knowledgeable! Scot was our cashier and connected with my wife and I on a variety of topics while we checked out. At the door, Walter quickly shared the promotions y'all had going on this weekend, AND as we browsed he stepped in and shared his personal thoughts on certain sets that we were looking at! Dan also checked stock on an item for us and informed us when it would likely be back in stock! Overall, the experience is always positive and enjoyable in this store. They take safety seriously, and were focused on their headcount with a greeter out front to connect with customers approaching. read more

My navigation system in my car said they were closed. So I called. They were not closed. The mall they are in got hammered by a huge hail storm in 2017. And they were closed for repairs and water damage. But now they are open. I don't know when the reopened. Their staff was very helpful on my visit today. I knew what I wanted to purchase for our granddaughter. I haven't bought a Lego anything for over 40 years. I knew they had yo a o choices. I told the staff member what I was looking for. He showed me a buy it by the piece option. I asked if there was a set. There was. I bought that and was out of there in less than 5 minutes. Now, that's good service from a good selection. read more

Never have I ever walked into a LEGO store and I was not greeted. I arrived during opening hours with a store empty as could be and filled with about 5-6 staff members all clustered around the cash register. Not a single one says hi to me nor asks me if I need anything. I proceed to walk to them because I have a question and I am hastily shewed away and hardly answered my question and then the staff went back to what could only be described as work place drama and banter. Extremely unprofessional. Been experiencing that a ton here in my visit to CO. The workers and people here are just plain self entitled rude people. Let alone in a LEGO store was just shocking. I love Legos. I was not raised with them but as soon as my kids were old enough we all became fanatics. I buy them wherever I find them, sometimes even for myself, but mainly for my kids, grandkids and as gifts for friends' kids. I buy them in discount stores and specialty toy stores, and from Lego direct online to fit specific requests or to find unusual items. But I love it when I can get to a full Lego Store like this and I do wish it had even more stock. I love that in addition to a huge selection of sets, you can get individual bricks off of the pick-a-brick wall and you can build customized mini figures from their figure-parts bins. These days, when the facial features are no longer generic, non-gender specific, many sets come only with male featured figures, or if there are at least 3 figures in the set, you will get one female, so adding more female faces became important to us. Really, why shouldn't the Galaxy Squad commander be female? If you have not seen Legos lately, you will be surprised. The male faces have beards and mustaches or "heavy" eyes and brows, and black lined lips and the female faces have eyelashes, lighter brows and pinkish fill in the lip lines. There are some more neutral, and some with eyeglasses but they are usually only in certain collections. Also, the add-on hair is often gender specific too. The faces are still all classic, generic non-race-specific Lego yellow, so why not leave the classic minimalist features too? The staff at this store was very friendly and helpful. I was the only "unaccompanied" adult customer this morning. There were several parents and grandparents with kids in tow. Is it Spring Break in Denver? Boulder is back in school now, but there were a lot of kids at the mall. read more

Ok, who doesn't like legos? Seriously, kids of all ages (that includes me) love legos! My first set of legos were those extra chunky bricks, especially made for kids that might try to eat things (obviously something child alicia k. would do). The colorful blocks came inside of a bright red lego bunny plush bag. Thanks Santa, that thing followed me around for years. Nowadays you go to these lego stores and see all the crazy kits and things that you (not me, there's no way I'd have the patience) can build with legos. Pretty amazing stuff. There's all these neat new things with moving parts and themes... I'm glad that kids still have legos as an option for toys, even if theirs are a little fancier than mine were. I walked into this store and saw the huge selection and suddenly felt all nostalgic. The only thing you don't think about as a kid is how expensive these plastic blocks are! Holy Legos, these are expensive! I'm not sure if this store is considered an outlet, but those didn't look like outlet prices to me! Legos, you have the market cornered, and you know it! read more

The Lego store is a dream come true for the Lego collector. For the longest time they had a giant Hagrid made of Legos near the entrance of the store. Now I think there is a giant Buzz Lightyear. This store has lots to offer and has a great deal of merchandise made by Lego that you can't get anywhere else. Also, wow! Who would have thought Legos could be so expensive? I don't remember them costing that much when I was little but again I was not into them that much. Action figures, yes I am familiar with them costing a pretty penny, so I guess what is the difference? Definitely worth a peak in an otherwise sub par mall. read more

My review is based on customer service. Legos are an excellent product and really not much can go wrong. The product speaks for itself. But this store and it's management is my issue. So we ecountered a Christmas present snau of presents we purchased online through the Lego Store. Since it was under $200 you can go to the store in person to return it. So off I went with several boxes of Legos to the store. I walk in and ask to return the items. The nice employee said that only a manager can do returns and he was on the phone. So I wait. And I wait. And I wait some more. I ask him to check and the manager Randy is still on the phone. So wait some more. After about 20+ minutes the manager comes stomping out. Without eye contact or any salutations Randy starts angrily rifling through my box of returns. Then clearly annoyed he says "you know you usually can't return this". So I explain that anything under $200 can be returned to the store. Then he retracts by saying starting Jan. in store returns aren't honored and I'm just LUCKY today. Lucky? is this guy for real? So I'm getting really pissed at this point. And then he notices that I kept the free present. He proceeds to reprimand me " you that'll cost you $12!, no, it's not free you know!!" Really Randy? Nothing comes for free does it? So then, I'm feeling pretty nice so instead of going off on him I just mention that I was waiting for over 20 minutes for his help. Not a "thanks for waiting" "sorry for the wait" but I get a -- you know I had a customer on the phone and I'm really really busy here-- And you think I had ALL day to wait? And I'm not busy? I'm looking online to complain about this matter but can't seem to find the right place. All kidding aside, this experience was terribly unprofessional. And this person has no business being in customer service which is what 70% or retail is about. Maybe he's having issues at home? Maybe someone is dying or is very sick in Randy's life. Whatever the case is, I hope he can get it together or find a job not dealing with the public. read more

I bring my son here every week and have never had a bad experience. The people have always been very helpful. On another note, the Lego VIP program us a must. For every $100 you spend, you get $5 back, which basically is like getting a 5% discount. read more

Wish the store was bigger to be able to carry ALL the sets they show in their catalog. It is wonderful and the staff has been great! Even when I had to teach a nephew about stealing! The prices are the same as Target unless Target is having a sale on certain sets. Joining the VIP earns money towards future sets, and when you live only 1.5miles away it can certainly add up!
