That wasn't done here so this feels fair to me. My best friend and I went into the north location on June 3rd, my bday, to try to find something cute to wear. I had a baby and nothing fits me anymore. I was so excited to find a cute pair of black Free People overalls that were comfy, short and fit my mom bod. I tried them on and got them with a credit that I had. We then went to my sister's house, there were a group of us there for my birhday, and everyone was so excited about my find. I tried them on again to show everyone but when I took them off I was HORRIFIED to find vaginal dishcharge inside of the pants that I had just purchased and now had tried on twice. It was not a small amount and it was not from since I was wearing panties and it was DRY. I was so disgusted and upset, it was a buzz kill on my birthday, it is so gross! I called right away and explained the situation. Whoever I spoke to acted like they were mortified. I explained the situation, that I had alread taken the tags off and that I did not live close by. I was reasured that I could bring the pants in and get my cedit back when I had a chance. I asked if I needed anything, if they needed my name or would put a note on file. I was told not to worry about anything. My mom, best friend, my husband and sister all heard the call because it was on speaker. I know one of us has a picture of the pants and tag which we will find, I do have a screenshot of the call made that day. My sister washed the pants for me because I was not okay with having them around my daughter. Once clean, I kept them in the car until I had a chance to go. Well, the north location that I went to is closed so I waited until I was near the Littleton location, which was today. I don't live by either. I was told that because I don't have the tag and it was in June that the owner said that I could not have my credit, which goes against what I was told on the call infront of a bunch of people. I am mad because it was their responsibility to check that outfit before it went out and someone else's dry bodily fluids touched me, twice! To be told that this would be made right on the phone and not have that honored today is wrong. We all know that they probably paid a few bucks for the overalls at most. They can easily see that I purchased them on June 3rd. They couldn't make a really disgusting situaiton right over a few bucks and that to me shows a complete lack of integrity. The fact that I was sold an outfit in that condition shows a lack of integrity. This review was earned on my birthday. I should have just done this then and posted the pics. Now I am going to tell anyone and everyone that will listen because it's gross and it is bad business.

You never know what you'll find!! Some of the items support charities internationally. Some of the stuff is display stock. Others are sourced from donations and estate auctions and sales!! The great feature of this store is it's organized and not a dumping ground for old unwanted stuff. I looked through their vinyl records which were categorized alphabetically and unlike most antique stores where the majority of albums are '60s Country & Western has-beens, there were actually classic albums I wanted to buy. There are so many cool things at this place I can only explain it as a Meow Wolf where you can buy the cool things you see. Last time, a male employee accidentally broke a painting my friend was buying at checkout. When she didn't want to pay full price for something that had just been damaged, he was clearly annoyed. We weren't loud, we weren't causing issues, nothing. Out of nowhere, a male staff member told us we were being kicked out. While walking to the register, we even asked if they were closing early. They said no. So they're not closing... but we're being kicked out? And somehow we're still allowed to check out and give them our money. Make that make sense. At the register, his whole attitude was hostile and clearly meant to make us uncomfortable. I was uncomfortable enough that I didn't even want to use my card. My friend paid cash instead. Then another older male employee walked up with a smug look while we were finishing. When we calmly asked why we were being asked to leave, we were told, "the people on the cameras don't want you here." That's not an actual reason. If there was a problem, say it. If there was an assumption being made (like thinking we're resellers), communicate that. We're not. Instead, it just felt like two older male employees decided they didn't want two young women in their store and handled it in the most unprofessional way possible. The furniture is very organized, sometimes arranged into room configurations or groups of the same (like bar stools or counter chairs.) There are also decorative items like paintings, photographs and wall hangings. The prices are set when something comes in at about half the original value with markdowns for wear and tear. The staff was very efficient when going through my items. They accept items during all opening hours which is a welcome change from other consignors in the area. The process is actually pretty simple and streamlined. They also offer payouts electronically or with a check. I didn't purchase anything as my intent when going in was to reduce the items in my closet rather than add to them, but from what I saw they had a nice variety of sizes and styles of clothing, from vintage to modern. They do have women's and men's clothing as well. Prices were reasonable. I will definitely be back to consign clothes in the future!
