The nephews were in town so where else to take them but the Lego store. Parking at the Fashion Show mall is always a bitch. Do yourself a favor and park in the Nordstrom parking structure and walk over. Once outside of Nordies it's just across the way. The store is pretty small, and there is always a line it seems. They have a lot of cool displays but OMG the sticker shock! Most of the larger sets were $200-$350. I saw more than once that a kid was like "Oh cool! Look Mom/Dad!" And then I see the parent just walk outside. It's just so pricey. But there's always a line of people trying to give them their money! Price tags are hard to distinguish what is for which set. Small keychains are $5. That might be the cheapest thing there. It's basically a Lego figure on a keyring. I can make that myself. Good thing they have a small build station. Nephew #2 was content building a tower there for a few mins and then we left without incident. It's just fine for some free kid entertainment if they don't beg for you to buy them something. read more

New store located in the Fashion Show Mall. Opened on April 4th. Small store but tons of stuff. This place would have been a heaven for me when i was a child. Best thing i got as a child was Toyz R Us and i rarely got to go there too. Tons of different sets of various sizes and age groups. Different themes. Pricey sets. from age 1 1/2 at like $15 up to like $200 a set for the more complicated ones. The back wall also had different bins of pieces of different sizes and shapes. You fill up a cup (like yogurtland cups, the normal and large size). price varies from like $8 to $15. Should be able to fit quite the few pieces in those cups too. Good place to check out if you are a Lego fan. Get's quite warm and stuffy when there are a lot of people inside X_x read more

Store is great, has a few areas in which kids can play in and a large verity of lego kits. Two things annoyed me greatly, though: 1. The prices in the store (and this is nothing against the specific fashion show location, of course, but against all stores) - are ridiculously more expensive in some kits than you can find on the web! I always google the item before I buy, and a cool set I was considering for my son costs $130 at the store and only $81 on Amazon! why the hell is that...? 2. A sign on the door said free gift with every purchase. We came with a $25 set to the register, only to find out its only if you purchase above $99. Annoyed I went back to the sign, and couldn't find any small letters indicating that! Looked again and there it was - tiny, unreadable, hardly seen, blurry white line in probably a 0.003 size font saying it was only above $99. Seriously guys?!? read more

Bring your kido/s in .. Have fun building, they love making the mini figures.. Its such a great use of time.. Very friendly staff too!! This is fun for toddler boys with their dads.. I had a bad experience, but they have more than made up for it and in my opinion, it means more than a 5-Star Review. The former manager Lee, went above and beyond to help us and greeted us every time we came to the store. We were told he was promoted and moved to So. Californua store. Everything is awesome here! (Come on, you knew that line was coming for this place.) But it's great if you love all things Lego. Big, colorful store, a lot of selection, some great displays, events, members cards, and really, the prices are comparable to any other retailer out there, and you can earn VIP points. There's even a back wall chock full of various Lego goodies so if you are looking for sets, you can buy bins full of individual bricks. The selection is really good, and the people that work there are really nice. Of course, I would imagine that it would be a little hard to be down and grumpy when working in a primary color happy wonderland of cool building toys. I don't get over there as often as I like, but they ALWAYS seem to get something new in there that I just want to buy. Still, they haven't gotten that amazing haunted house back in there from when they first opened. I basically am craving that thing. *sigh* read more

My favorite store ever. Yes, I love Lego, so I'm biased, but I'll pretend for the moment they sell something that I'm not interested in, because this review isn't for Lego, it's for the store itself. It's like a candy shop--bright, colorful, organized. Some of the larger models are on display under glass, and there are mixed Lego pieces for kids to play with at little tables. The back wall has individual pieces that you can buy by the cup--lots of wheels and windows and smaller bricks that get switched out slowly. It's always worth a look to see what's new there. In the middle of the store there's a tower full of minifigure parts where you can build your own, which is surprisingly fun. As for selection, they've never been out of a set I wanted except when it was going out of production. And the staff is very helpful. They're always happy to do a little research to help me when I have a difficult question. Plus, if you're a VIP member or spend a certain amount, they almost always have little freebie sets or figures. Overall, it's a great store. It would have been easy for them to throw together something looking like a regular toy store, but instead The Lego Store has a classier, boutique feel that makes it a pleasant experience for adults as well as children. For children in adult bodies, it's perfect. read more

I talked to his parents and they told me he loves Legos. so I did a search and found out there was a Lego store in the mall to my surprise. so I went to the mall and found a nice Lego set for them for him. If you like legos, you must go here. The store is kind of small, but they have all the current collections. They even carry all the hard to find large sets (simpsons, death star) They have a better selection than Legoland! There is an area where you can build a custom figure, and an area to buy individual bricks. Go buy some legos! read more

Hello childhood! It's been a while.. well no.. I am in Vegas, so it's been unleashed... but it ran wild here. Oh I have always wanted to be one of the people paid to put together the beautiful scenarios in the display windows. Sadly, the price tags in these stores.. and on every piece of lego these days.. does have a way to kick that child in the guts and steal his lunch money. That said.. I did replace a stolen favorite character of mine from Junior High.. and splurged on a 8 dollar key chain with Boba Fett on it. Absolutely love having it at my side always now.. that said.. I don't think I can bring myself to buy a new set anymore. My wallet isn't that thick. read more

Similar experience to the store in Vancouver, hence the parallel review. My best friend and I when we came to Vegas were just happy that there were toy stores in the area. OMG there is a Lego store....the best childhood game ever. The Lego boxes and projects have become more complex, however, you can buy individual pieces in a bucket for $11. I was terrible with Lego, however, snapping the pieces together was so therapeutic, much like a jig saw puzzle. They have a very cool feature. You can grab the box, hold it up to a camera and you can see what the item looks like assembled on top of the box you're holding. How they do it, I have no idea but this is worth the trip alone. As far as price comparisons go between the Vancouver location and here there isn't much. This place gets extremely busy that it can get hard to breath and navigate. It is mostly for families to take their kids on a fun trip to a store before the adults go play with the big adult toys IE: Slot machines. read more

Love the LEGO store at Fashion Show Mall! One of our must stop shops when we're at this mall with the kids. The employees are always friendly and helpful. Been a LEGO fan all my life and my kids lives too. The sets are expensive but with the LEGO Creator sets they can build anything they can imagine. The VIP program is great for people who buy LEGO frequently. Every set you purchase you earn points by the price of the set. So if you buy a set for $19 = 19 points. 100 points = $5 which can be used in a future purchase. read more

I have been to Lego stores all over North America and they are all the same except for the most important factor, the staff. If you told me the best customer service I would get would be in Vegas I would have laughed in your face. But it's true. The crew they had that day was fun, knowledgable and willing to chat. I was there when it wasn't too busy, and there are few places that switch from fun to hell as quick as a packed Lego store. I'm running out of reasons to head to the Strip (especially considering the looming parking fees), but the Lego Store keeps on bringing me back to Fashion Show Mall. This is the only Lego Store in the area and they hold great workshops for kids (and sometimes adults) to enjoy. I remember a couple of years back they were letting kids build brick pieces that would be crafted to make a giant R2-D2. The thought of so many kids in such a small space does scare me a bit, but the employees do a great job maintaining the store and preventing chaos from dominating. If you're looking for unique brick pieces, you are better off looking at the online store, but they do have a Fill-A-Bag/Cup specials here that may be worth it depending on what you need. Fashion Show Mall attracts a lot of tourists, so the stock here can deplete rapidly due to shoppers buying a lot of items all at once. read more

Located on the first floor between Dillard's and Saks, this is a basic Lego store. The Pick-A-Brick had slightly fewer bins than the average store. It didn't help that the parts available were the smaller, less expensive bricks. There was also a light selection of display models. read more

As soon as I heard there was a Lego Store inside the Fashion Show Mall, I HAD TO GO. It's located across from the Apple store near Dillards. The staff was great, and the selection was awesome. Being a long time Lego fan I wish something like this happened sooner. It's a nice place for kids to explore and have some fun. It is a smaller store but like I said, their selection is great.
