I got married here in April 2018. We purchased and paid in full for the "all inclusive" wedding package. I wanted this package so I wouldn't have to worry about paying for every single thing separately. Gwen assured me when we paid that I would get everything that they have to offer at the ranch. The inclusive package did not include any alcohol, the photographer or the farmhouse tables, and the package at the time only included 80 guests. So it was about $5,000 more that we had to pay for those things not include. Several things started going wrong after we signed the contract. It started slowing, then it all piled up at the end. From when we paid until our wedding date, there was only 4 months to plan my wedding. Gwen did not want to go over actual details of my wedding until 1 month before it. That had me extremely stressed out. Then we met with her and went over details, I was telling her exactly what I wanted, she made no notes as she sat there, but agreed to everything I told her. The week before my wedding she told me the flowers I wanted were too expensive and she couldn't do what I wanted. I told her she agreed to it and had to. Then the day before my wedding she told me that our wedding planner that I had never met would not be able to make it the day of my wedding. This was included in my package. In no way did she reimburse me for this. The day of my wedding nothing was organized. My welcome table was not set up, she had not purchased the sparklers that she was supposed to buy for our exit, so we didn't get to do that, her son was supposed to work the photo booth and book, that was a mess at the end of the night. My wedding did turn out absolutely beautiful BUT the stress and struggle that I had to go through with Gwen was not worth it. I did not get to enjoy my wedding because I was so upset with Gwen. I think Gwen can be very nice when she chooses to do so and she can be a complete b**** when she chooses. The frustrating part is she doesn't care if you're happy on your wedding day, she just wants the money. It's sad this is how she is. I would not recommend getting married here unless you just want beautiful pictures. read more

Unless you want to feel completely violated, then do not do business with Gwen and Lehman Barn. She's not honest. We made payments towards the "all inclusive" package for approximately 120 guests. However, due to the pandemic, we had to reduce guest count to just over 50. Gwen did not adjust down the price aside from catering (who my wife and I worked directly with). Instead, despite repeated requests to adjust the price down, she tried to string my wife along saying she would be "flexible" (whatever that means). Instead of reducing the price down, Gwen insisted that we postpone our wedding, when we didn't want to. Long story short, Gwen kept all of the money we paid her and we only recieved half of what we paid for. As if that was not enough, Gwen demanded that we pay her significantly more money the day before our wedding. Given that she demanded this money on the eve of our wedding, we were clearly in position where we couldn't tell her no, because then she wouldn't have allowed the event to move forward. She calls herself a "wedding coordinator" despite not coordinating much. She claims she has a "staff" when I believe it's her family because it was some guy walking around in shorts and a T-shirt and then some kid walking around in a cowboy hat. When we showed up for our rehearsal with our family, Gwen was wearing a Playboy hat (not a good look). During the event, I saw Gwen walking around aimlessly when she should have been doing what she claims she does - coordinating. Instead, our photographers were the ones who were doing all of the coordinating. There are so many more things I want to say in this review, but won't. Based on this, I firmly believe that Gwen is an actual crook and a conartist (and a good one). read more

I cannot express how grateful I am for Gwen and her wonderful family! Our wedding venue cancelled 10 days before our wedding and our wedd coordinator got stuck in NY and Gwen stepped in to save the day. The venue is beautiful and they offer so many decorations, tables, lights, etc. Gwen has so much love for weddings and everything involved. She is incredibly knowledgeable and organized. She treated us like family and we were in awe of how smoothly everything went. My guests have been raving about how beautiful the venue was and how nice the staff were. My vendors couldn't believe how smoothly the event went given that we had to change so many things in the 10 days leading up to it. The vendors noted how helpful the staff was and how easy it was working with Gwen. She is clear about the expectations and has to do everything to keep guests safe. The venue that cancelled on us unfortunately did not do that and it resulted in their venue getting shut down. We loved our experience at Lehman Barn!! read more

Really upset to see that the rating of this venue is 3 out of 5 stars. I got married at the barn in September 2018 and ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! Gwen was so helpful through the whole process and made adding and removing things from the contract very easy and always made sure we were on the same page. On the day of, Gwen and her staff were able to make our visions a reality. The staff was beyond amazing as they really made sure we did not have to worry about set up or clean up and made sure all food and beverages were stocked at all times. I would recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for a GREAT country wedding. Would most definitely give more stars if I could. read more

I got married at Lehman barn and have also photographed multiple weddings at Lehman barn as I am also a local wedding photographer and I have ALWAYS been impressed. I frequently recommend this venue to other brides who have not yet chosen a venue because my wedding was everything I had always dreamt it would be! Gwen is absolutely amazing and I continue to enjoy working with her on a regular basis when I shoot weddings there, as well as when I do styled shoots on the property. As a guest at Lehman barn, I was highly impressed by the manager and the staff at this venue. They all worked together to make the bride and grooms day perfect. The manager Gwen, was beyond wonderful and made sure everything was done and ready for the big day. She always had her staff checking in on the things that most people don't pay attention too. They always had smiles on their faces, which made me feel happy. I really appreciated how well the bar was always fully stocked and the service was nice and helpful. After my experience, I would highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a perfect country wedding and gorgeous sunsets. read more

I was MOH at a wedding here recently. While the property is beautiful, the management is horrible! Extremely disorganized and did not have everything ready such as linens and tables as they were needed. Gwen repeatedly told the bride the morning of to go back over her contract that SHE signed and she will see what was agreed upon instead of simply handling it... because of course a bride wants to be reviewing contracts the morning of her wedding instead of relaxing and taking in the day. During the reception she had her teenaged children wandering around acting as if they were guests, all while reporting things back to her and even questioning guests on if they were sober enough drive as they left. EXTREMELY EMBARRASSING AND INAPPROPRIATE! I could go on, but will leave it at I would never recommend anyone host an event here. read more

Can we say fan? I was at a wedding yesterday it was super hot, their was 6 umbrellas for 15 tables in the hot sun. The shuttle to the tree (and the only shade at the place), didn't come back to get people until most everyone had walked back to the ugly old no fans no ac barn. and some road rock would be nice unless you like, being covered in red dirt? maybe a night wedding is better during the summer but I will highly not recommend this place. nothing about it was nice , pretty or even slightly worth the amount it costs. read more

I don't even know where to begin! My entire experience with the Lehman Barn has been absolutely amazing! I'm not really sure how I originally found the barn, but it turned out to be such a wonderful venue and I truly had the wedding of my dreams. From the beginning, Gwen has been so thoughtful, generous, and kind. It is very obvious how much she cares about each individual Bride and goes above and beyond to help them create their wedding. I am forever grateful to her, because she truly understood my vision and my wedding would not have been the same without all the help she provided me. Additionally, in the process of planning my wedding, I found out very quickly that as soon as you mention wedding, the price triples. Unfortunately, people take advantage of the fact that brides want their day to be perfect and, because of this, are willing to pay more for this beautiful day that only happens once. This is not the case at the Lehman Barn; their prices are extremely fair and reasonable. Gwen truly understands the financial strains a wedding can bring and does not believe in "nickel and diming" brides. Lastly, she has so many resources! She has some of the most amazing rentals and the most beautiful vintage furniture. I personally wanted to plan my wedding myself, but she really provides everything if needed (rentals, décor, planning, flowers...she truly does it all!). There were even a couple times in the planning process I was worried about something and she she offered to help/do it. Fortunately, everything worked out, but her offer gave me so much comfort and helped my stress level tremendously. Even on the day before my wedding, I just realized that I could not do everything myself. I started to get stressed and I asked her to help me last minute; she just went to work immediately. Honestly, without her help, my day could have turned out very differently. I'm sure everything would have gotten done, but her help saved my sanity and I was able to relax and enjoy the process on the day of. I really cannot say enough about how pleased I am with how everything turned out. Everyone had a wonderful time, the location was breathtaking, and I had the wedding of my dreams within my budget! I'm confused because on instagram they are posting resent wedding photos but how is anyone able to actually book this venue? Is there something We are missing? My wife and I hosted our wedding last weekend at the Lehman Barn. First of all, I cannot thank Gwen enough for all of her work over two years helping my wife plan the wedding and then finally putting together the wedding of her dreams! Gwen goes above and beyond any expectations you might have of a venue/wedding planner and coordinator and I can truly say she is like family to us now! Gwen's staff are incredible as well and very down to earth. Weddings are judged in my opinion by the little attention to details, which is what we got complements on all night long. Even after the night ended, the guest house at the venue had all the amenities you could need/want including tooth brushes and toothpaste kits! We cannot thank Gwen enough for making our special day perfect! If you are looking for an intimate, authentic barn wedding, Lehman Barn is the place to go!
