We split the steak, carrots, and fingerling potatoes with an amazing sauce! There was enough for us to split it into two. The wine was amazing from local wineries, the waitress was sweet and friendly and had grear service. Everyone was dressed super nice & when we asked for recommendations of wine with our dinner, they had a great pairing. We wish we could've checked outside, but there was a wedding going on. We will definitely be back to check out the outside area and I definitely recommend!!

So if you like those Raiders of the Lost Ark vibes, then you would like sitting next to the mine for sure. It's roped off but you can hear the water dripping and it is naturally cool. The structure was originally built as a hotel in 1853 and has been well preserved. I ordered their Smith Flat House salad ($10) and the Jambalaya Risotto ($34) which consisted of Cajun-marinated prawns, lobster meat, Andouille sausage, grilled sweet corn with saffron chicken risotto. Definitely had a bit of a kick to it, the risotto was done well. My pet peeve is mushy risotto, it needs to have a slight bite to it which this one had thankfully. Love the fact that this place serves up local wines -- I couldn't recall the wine I had and they do not have their wine menu on their website. If you have the opportunity to visit, I'd recommend a glass of red from Starfield (winery up the road).

We had reservations for dinner at 7 and arrived promptly, and made our way upstairs to where the restaurant is. Seeing it from the outside I thought Sienna was the entire muti-floor establishment, until we went inside and realized they're the top floor of the building. Once we all looked over the menu for a bit we ordered the following: Drinks: Spicy Mango Margarita Appetizers: Bread Kung Pao Calamari Filet Mignon (x2) 16 oz Ribeye Dessert: Hazelnut Cheesecake Drinks were first and then came the appetizers. Both were really good and I really enjoyed the spicy Margarita. My partner paired wine with her Filet Mignon dish. I had the 16 oz Ribeye, I ordered it medium but it was more medium-well/well overall. But the thickest portions were for sure medium, so it was still enjoyable, but a little more cooked than I'd prefer. The desserts were good too, my father got the Hazelnut Cheesecake and my partner got the Blueberry Cheesecake. Overall: Glad to have finally dined here, and enjoyed our food, the seating out on the patio, and our service from our waitress. All made for a really nice Father's Day dinner with family!

Go during the dinner hours because my boyfriend and I love the royal galbi and sesame beef. I crave their cajun fries all the time. If you want to eat like me, it's the lettuce wrap with woobesal and royal galbi dipped in Ssamjung with Cajun fries, sweet kimchi, steamed egg, and mushrooms cooked with the royal galbi sauce. Cons: Be sure to join the waitlist during busy hours because the wait time can get long. Lettuce wraps cost extra. Their desserts are sesame balls or taiyaki. I honestly prefer the scoop of ice cream. And their bathrooms have no paper towels.

That being said, OZ has become the new favorite K-BBQ spot for my husband and I. We were huge fans of Blue House and when they closed for renovations we had to find a new place. Others we have tried are "meh". We stumbled upon OZ on our way out to Smile Market on Bradshaw and are we thrilled we did! We never have issues finding parking and it's great they have their own lot. We have also never had to wait more than 5-10 mins to be seated. Even at their busiest, it seems they are able to seat us quickly. The quality of the meat is great. The OZ Galbi is my favorite. Everything is tender, well seasoned and I like that they don't bring huge portions. I can order as often as I want without wasting food and I don't leave eating ill and with the meat sweats. The service is consistently good, my servers have all been very friendly and helpful. Even when they are busy, they always seem to know when I need a water refill or more meat. The only downside is that they do charge extra for the lettuce and garlic/jalapeños that I like to eat with my meat. But it's only a couple of dollars so it's not a big deal. Their banchan is tasty, but I do wish they offered the egg jjim or the tofu soup as options for lunch too. These are minor though as everything else about OZ continues to bring me back as my favorite K-BBQ.

Their steak sandwich was big enough to share so we did that and were surprised to find out it came with fries which were super crispy. When I choose to spend several hundred dollars on dinner, I'm paying for more than just the food. I expect an upscale dining experience with a certain level of atmosphere, professionalism, and standards. Unfortunately, that is no longer what we experienced. The restaurant appeared to have no meaningful dress code, with guests wearing attire such as cut-off shorts, sweatpants, and crop tops. While every business can choose its own policies, this created an atmosphere that felt far removed from the refined dining experience Ruth's Chris once offered. I also felt that the service lacked the polish and attention to detail that I had come to expect over the years. The food was still good, but at these prices, good food alone is not enough. What makes this especially disappointing is that this used to be my favorite steakhouse in Sacramento. The combination of declining standards, a less refined atmosphere, and inconsistent service no longer justifies the premium cost. When I spend that kind of money, I expect the entire experience to reflect it. Sadly, that's no longer the case, and we won't be returning.

The Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg is a historic beet sugar refinery from 1934-1993 that has wine shops and tasting rooms for local wineries. They have over a dozen wineries. Wine tastings average $15 and most wineries waive the fee if you buy a bottle. They have wine shops in the main building and in the other building. Don't forget to walk back and to the right to the shops in the separate back building, there is 3-4 more wineries. Each winery are literal walled shops with their own seating areas. Temperature controlled which is nice on hot summer days. Each have their own wine tasting, food offerings, and special events. Old Sugar Mill is less than 15 minute drive from downtown Sacramento. The buildings are beautiful. They kept the historic brick walls and exterior. It has a modern shabby chic look. Three different brands owned the refinery. It all began in 1934 with Amalgamated, American Crystal Sugar Factory (1936-1982), and Delta Sugar (1983-1993). The sugar was refined by local Northern Californian grown beets. The buildings was renovated in 2000 for its current use. Awesome concept and beautiful architecture design. They also host weddings and events. They have a banquet room with slideshow equipment. There is also an outdoor lawn and adjoining paved patio area that is shaded in the afternoon by the buildings that would make for a gorgeous wedding venue. On hot summer days, the Delta breeze kicks in for instant cool down. No outside food are picnics are allowed. On the weekends, they have food trucks. Plus the majority of the wineries sell food (appetizers) as well. Also no pets are allowed (excluding service animals). The restrooms are located right by the front entrance.
