In terms of patient care and responsiveness, Dr. Lehman is one of if not the best in town.

I have never came here for a major health issue, so I am not too sure how the doctor's expertise and evaluation would be. Usually, I schedule an appointment a month in advance in order to get medication or a prescription for an ongoing health problem that I have. Although I have a scheduled appointment, it still takes about 30 minutes to an hour for them to call me inside to get my vitals done. The staff taking my vitals are usually not health professionals, but friends or family of the Doctor because they are older and do not happen to speak much English. I mean not a lot of English is required since everyone pretty much knows the process - put your arm out with palms facing up and then they slide the arm cuff onto the arm and press the button until the blood pressure is read. Next would be getting on the scale which automatically reads your weight and then they pull out this snazzy little height scale to measure my height. Afterwards, I get directed to the patient room and wait another 20-30 minutes before the doctor can see me. After the doctor comes in, he asks why I'm here and then I tell him I need a refill and he writes the prescription and I'm out of there in about 3 minutes. The waiting process takes about 1-1.5 hours even with an appointment while the doctor only sees me for a good 3 minute. I can't imagine how'd it would be like without an appointment. I can't wait to find a new doctor that cares about my health. I do no recommend this doctor office at all. :(

The Young doctor who just inherited This business from his recently passed away Father doesn't look like a professional doctor at all .He just sits there flipping over pages of file his dead father had noted on this patient never once looking up to see how his patient was doing not putting on any stethoscope on the patient to at least check him out.He was having a cold on that day and his nose was running. He wore gloves on that day and he was trying to clear his running nose by using those gloves as tissue and dappled on his so called short blouse , but actor was his shirt All in all he looks like a kid wandering from somewhere and got into this examination room to do medical work which he didn't perform at all . At the end he spit out 2 referrals phone none of them bothered to give us a call back. I feel sorry for those patients who were examined in this office. It's sad when I have to give a review like this.

CAUTION ! BIG BEWARE ! UNPROFESSIONAL, POSSIBLY ILLEGAL TREATMENT FACILITY…read more The staff and doctors at Integrated Care including Debra Murray N.P., Fatima M.A. and the rest of the staff will make 100% promises assuring you that the cost of the Spravato treatments are 100% covered, not to worry about the monthly unpaid invoices. She , (Debra. P.A.) on multiple occasions, tried explaining to us, that she would 'manipulate the "coding" so that the charges they were submitting to BLUE CROSS insurance would reflect some made up reason for a non-existent diagnosis that would get them to cover these treatments, 100%!. We didn't quite understand what Debra was telling us at the time. It never felt quite right with us. It almost felt fraudulent, it felt suspect and even shady and is the primary reason that both my partner and I left INTEGRATED CARE and went elsewhere for continued treatments. They, usually "Debra", on multiple occasions, told us, there's just some sort of "lag time"in payments from BlueCross-CA. Eventually, when the unpaid balance was becoming so large and 100%, unpaid. We both felt very uncomfortable about it and discontinued with treatments at IntegratedCare, regardless of the multiple conversations with them assuring us "not to worry" is just some kind of office error. They assured us both, that "eventually, the entire bill would be covered and to "just toss the invoices into the trash". They even kept incurrageing my partner to keep coming for the weekly treatments. All the while, his balance kept growing bigger and bigger. Apparently, the information and instructions that they were telling us? They were either inaccurate or possibly just a plain lies. They made mentions on telling, possibly fabricated information to the BlueCross, so why would I trust them to be honest with us? Over the past year, we are still today getting monthly statements today more than a year later. The stressful PAST DUE OR GOING INTO COLLECTIONS letters start coming in with a past due balance of $7,292.78 ! After numerous attempts to resolve and numerous promises that there no need to worry. Why couldn't they just be honest with us in the beginning or at anytime? Why would they encourage us to continue with weekly Spravato treatments for nearly 8 mos. Why wouldn't they inform us that the insurance was not paying their "bogusly coded charges"? while no payments were being approved by insurance? They never bothered to mention anything about it to us. What kind of business does that anyway? WHERE ELSE WOULD A PRIVATELY OWNED CLINIC CONTINUE PROVIDING "UNPAID" SERVICES FOR 7 MOS? ZERO payments received !! It ridiculous to imagine any medical, "niche" clinic to allow this kind of practice..The charges were more than my partners total income at that time !Over one year later, the obnoxious and bogus past due notices keep on coming on the first week of every month, showing still, no payments made. I now believe that they were repeatedly lying to us, telling us that ALL SERVICES WOULD BE PAID IN FULL. We eventually found another location in which all the needed treatments and services would be covered 100%.. BUYER BEWARE. THEY WILL LIE TO YOU, JUST TO KEEP YOU COMING for treatments while knowing that the treatments aren't being covered by insurance. I believe they just want to keep the number of patients as elevated as possible. That bottom line $$$ is #1 for them. This went on for around 8 mos.! We can no way afford $7,410 or around $10,000.00/ yr. for Spravato treatments for anxiety, depression & PTSD. Nor did we ever "verbally agree" to pay out of pocket for the services. THIS has become a big source of anxiety and depression in itself, over a year later. Thanks alot I.Care. We all know. We will never actually be made to pay this "BOGUS MEDICAL INVOICE". I am no expert, but am starting to believe that they will gladly take it and use it for a income TAX WRITE OFF write off, against the insanely hugely profitable, lucrative margins they work with there. I believe it's several hundred percent mark-up for a relatively cheap pharmaceutical given and supervised by a couple underpaid LVN'S and M.A's. I believe this was possibly there intention all along. I feel this practice is just plain dishonest, wrong and possibly even illegal. We have been very patient, waiting for some kind of resolve on this invoice. We should not be receiving any statement with any unpaid balances today., .Its now been just over a year. Still getting those statements. We are just fed up with this place. The dishonest and manipulative tactics used by the staff at Integrated Care is pretty sub par, even for the far less than desirable medical services community we are all living with today. I hope this review might prevent someone else from being mislead or maybe even lied to as we were by this very possibly, unethical Spravato clinic. You might end up with another giant sized unpaid bill when you leave there. Be careful

She is a fine person, but I am so disappointed in her failure to refer me to an adequate specialist. I have suffered with endocrine related issues for years that have wreaked havoc on my life in so many ways. Two years ago I begged for her to write me a referral to endocrinology, and I even had a letter from a separate medical doctor who was advocating on my behalf. She said that endocrinology couldn't help me and I was devestated. Well, now it's two years later and I have gotten a lot worse. I have new symptoms too, which drove me back to the doctor (a different PCP - not Dr Freeman) who actually ran some tests on me and found some issues related to my thyroid and sent me an urgent referral to endocrinology. I'm hoping I can get my issues sorted out soon, but I've already lost so much. I've continued to deteriorate, which has cost me -- financially, physically, and emotionally. It has damaged my reputation at work and my relationships with friends - I'm now seen as the flakey person who is unreliable because of my health. I've spent so much money on treatments that haven't worked, and have tried over the counter supplements, out-of-network doctors, ANYTHING to try to get relief, to no avail. I've also had to take so many days off work that it has maxed out my PTO, so I have to go without pay if I need to take anytime off for additional sickness or appointments. And I am still sick -- suffering different symptoms every day, and waking up in the middle of the night because of them. I've had a lot of dark thoughts and feel hopeless. I'm disappointed that Dr. Freeman couldn't refer me two years ago and I think my life would be different right now if she had done so. I hope that this experience will change her attitude going forward. Not every patient is lying about their symptoms or faking it.

While this was not a rapid taper, it was entirely forced against my will, violating explicit FDA and ASAM guidelines which state that stable, long-term patients should not be non-consensually tapered, and that partial tapering or maintaining a lower dose is an acceptable clinical success to protect a patient's quality of life.Although the doctor eventually paused the taper at 0.75 mg, the damage was already done. Severe, unmanageable withdrawal still occurred because my nervous system was entirely destabilized. This forced protocol stripped away my independence. I now suffer from profound muscle weakness, agonizing lower back pain, and am barely able to walk because I am so hunched over. I have been forced to move into assisted living. The severe nervous system strain also forced me cold-turkey off Wellbutrin. Dr. Nelson and other doctors put me on a heavy cocktail of alternative medications that leave me chronically exhausted and falling--the exact symptoms they claimed they wanted to avoid. Pushing a stable patient into a care facility is a catastrophic medical failure.

At check-in, I was informed of my $15 co-pay and an additional $90 outstanding balance that I was unaware of. I explained that I had not received any bill or notification and asked for time to contact my insurance provider to confirm the charge before paying. I made it clear I was not refusing to pay -- I simply wanted to verify the billing. While I was in the process of calling my insurance company, I was called back by a staff member who took my vitals, including my blood pressure and weight. I was then seated in the exam room to wait for the provider. Only after I had completed my vitals and was already in the exam room did Dr. Scarlett Lu enter. Instead of beginning the appointment, the focus immediately shifted to the $90 balance. Dr. Lu stated she would not begin the visit until it was paid. I again explained that I was willing to pay if the charge was valid but had never been notified of it. Rather than discussing it calmly, she stated that she was confident I had seen the bill and was avoiding payment. As a long-term patient with no prior billing issues, I found this assumption both surprising and inappropriate. Scarlett even rose her voice at me, to a point where I had to ask her, "why are you raising your voice when we are having a civil conversation?" This conversation occurred while the door was partially open, which felt unprofessional and uncomfortable. Given the severity of my back pain, I paid the balance so I could proceed with the appointment. Afterward, I checked my MyChart account, which showed a $0 balance. So, I went back to her office, knocked on the door and showed her MyChart. She looked at my phone and was shocked. When I brought this up, I was told that billing is separate from MyChart. She then proceed to apologize to me, "I am sorry I got mad" in the most un-remorseful tone. Almost like a child who was forced to apologize. While I understand systems can differ, the issue for me was not the billing itself -- it was the accusatory and dismissive manner in which I was treated. Healthcare visits can already be stressful, especially when you are in pain. Patients should feel respected and able to ask reasonable questions without being accused of wrongdoing. Unfortunately, this experience has made me reconsider continuing care here. Her level of empathy and respect towards her patients are little to none.

I just saw a post about…read moreher on Nextdoor and finally got the courage to put this here and let other people know my experience with her after processing wth happened. After being a loyal patient for 7 years, I experienced a shocking lack of professionalism. When my insurance changed and I booked a future appointment with a new PCP (as required when setting up my new insurance account, and Dr. Lu was not listed as a covered provider), she left me a scorned, unhinged, and angry voicemail saying I was no longer welcome as a patient. Turns out she was covered by the new insurance, but how would I know that when she's not listed in their network? The only reason she saw this other appointment was because I had to go to the ER for something under my old insurance and she was still my PCP. The ER told me to follow up with my PCP to see a specialist for my issue, and she saw the new insurance/new PCP appointment in my chart. Instead of simply asking me if I was switching doctors and explaining she was covered by my new insurance, she became very hostile and dumped me like I was her spouse and she caught me in bed with someone else. When we spoke and I explained my confusion/not knowing she was covered by my new insurance, she yelled at me, accused me of lying and "doctor shopping," and left me in tears. After profusely explaining the misunderstanding and apologizing to her, she offered to still see me, but I said absolutely not, not after seeing that side of her. Someone more concerned about their bruised ego (over an insurance misunderstanding) than my care and recent trip to the ER has no business being my doctor, or anyone's doctor for that matter. Beyond her volatile temper, in hindsight, she was always very dismissive of my symptoms and concerns. I've since been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and allergies that she refused to investigate at the time. She even suggested I skip a follow-up for an abnormal pap smear. Her office is high-tension, staff are miserable, and her records are never updated in MyChart so it makes it difficult for your specialists to follow your care. Hands down my worst experience with any healthcare provider. I work in healthcare now, and work with a lot of different doctors, and none of them would ever act this way towards patients. As someone who works in healthcare now, stay away from Dr. Lu. She used to be close to 5 perfect stars on here if I remember correctly. It was one of the reasons I picked her back when I found her, but I'm sadly not surprised to see the other negative reviews.
