I won the raffle at the Spring Scramble. It was a Men's extra large golf jacket with a price tag of 85$. A woman assured me I would be able to pick out a woman's equivalent out of the pro shop. EJ, the manager, told me they don't carry woman's clothing because it doesn't sell at their shop. He then told me he would get a catalog and I could choose from that. Since we had been members for 5 years and has never had an issue, I trusted him and gave him back the men's extra large jacket. We then stopped at the pro shop from spring time until Labor Day and left message after message for EJ. When he was there, I spoke with him in person reminding him who I was and asked what was the status of the catalog that he was obtaining for me to choose my prize? He was irritable, denied that he ever told me he would get a catalog. Then when I said, why don't you give me 85$ equivalent merchandise, he stated, " There was no monetary value to that prize. So in other words, we paid 40$ in raffle tickets and that meant he could technically give me a pack of Tees and I should be happy. He then said to come back in two days and he would have the catalog. My husband went in person 3 days later and he had nothing! He told my husband he would get the catalog and he would call him. 3 guesses what didn't happen? So I called because my husband was fed up and just didn't want to go back and told me to forget out the prize. Well EJ was so irate at this time that I had the nerve to call and ask what was going I told him I am not going to listen to you raise your voice. And yes....i called him an A..H... I called my lawyer who said it was not enough $$ to warrant a lawsuit but I should call the BBB which is what I did. We also will not be returning to that golf course. The membership was not worth the poor quality pot holed path and the shoddy greens. We now go elsewhere. I hope it was worth it to you EJ. read more

I am a woman and paid to be in the spring scramble. the same amount as a man I might add. I won an 85$ Men's Xtra large shirt in the raffle. we paid 40$ for raffle tickets. upon winning, a woman who was working for EJ assured me I could choose a woman's equivalent of my 85$ prize. it is now October, and EJ cannot seem to find that catalog in order to allow me to receive my 85$ equivalent prize. we have left messages on the phone, in person, spoken with him in person only to have to listen to his excuses and now he says "There are no shirts worth 85$ in my store." He also said, " there is no monetary value of that prize" oh really? so I would have spent 40$ on raffle tickets to win a bag of tees? is this a case of the old Bait and Switch? We have been members for at least 5 years. this man has met our attempts with anger and excuses. Went and played there this morning. Haven't played Antioch in some time. Very disappointed greens where bad cart paths were nothing but pot holes. Tee boxes were garbage holes everywhere not many spots with even dirt. This course is over charging read more

Course is in fair condition. However, since I only paid $198 for a 2 year pass I can forgive that the conditions are less than pristine.

So 6500 yards of golfing in Northern Illinois! This golf course is pretty nice. It has a full 18 hole course with varying levels of difficulty that are good for both beginners and the expert golfer. I, however, am a beginner. I have just started spending more time on the golf course trying to get my skill level up, but have spent time on many golf courses in the past. Now, while I like the set up of the Antioch Course (aside from the rows of houses you are sometimes hitting through - I did not break a single window!) the greens are not as immaculate as their website claims. Because there is residential housing throughout the entire course it seems that some vandalism has happened upon the greens. Several of the greens have holes dug in them, others have drawings, while others just seemed to have dead grass. While these really didn't have an effect on my play ( I do bad enough on my own), it just looked really unappealing. As well, their sand traps seem to be more like dirt traps in several areas. They are filled with rocks and other various objects that can make it hitting out of them somewhat challenging. And while I dont blame the club for this, the fairways on the course have varying levels of life! Yellow grass, brown grass and green grass - a rainbow of colors for your drive! However, that is faulted by the lack of rain mostly - it's been dry the last month. Anyways, the pricing is decent. And they have great afternoon and evening specials - as well as a driving range. If you are out thay way, and looking for a good round - give it a go! read more

This course needs an updated review: Played at Antioch GC for the first time. Although it may not look like, fairways and greens are well maintained. Course plays fair,and straightforward. Paid $25 w/ cart from golfnow.com. Will play again. Play early...can get crowded. read more

This course isn't well maintained. Needs a lot of work. I'm not sure I'll be returning anytime soon. Pace was slow I noticed however I was there early enough to be in front of most groups. If you have time to wait & are in the area maybe?! read more

Staff is super rude. I went in there to get some information about their venue and the man I spoke with was no help.

Played here 3 or 4 times in 2013 and the course has really slipped into poor shape over the last five years. It's a shame because it has a lot of potential to be fun with the course having scoring options on just about every hole. To top it all off I played late last year after they aerated the greens was never informed by the course while making my reservation or while paying for my round. I DO NOT plan on going back this year at all. They need to raise the rates and put some money back into course maintenance. read more

This course is horrible it use to be a decent course but now it's not even well taken care of. The greens were horrible lots of burnt out dead spots from no watering. Tee boxes: Uneven Fairways: OK shape, many thin areas Greens: Fair Rough: Ridiculous! 3 inches long and dandelion infested. Maintenance staff: Repeatedly would not stop mowing while we were on the green although the course was not crowded. Overall: Fair layout, poor maintenance leads to slow play while looking for balls in the rough. The cheap price is not worth the drive up to Antioch. read more

They have a beautiful tent that gets decorated to make a great backdrop for your wedding. The price was right. We couldn't get the date I wanted so the family is still looking. We might even change our date if we don't find something as nice soon. Book it if you can! read more

We had our wedding at Antioch Golf Club in July 2011. We held both our ceremony and reception there. I have nothing but great things to say about the golf club and the team there that handled my wedding! They were extremely accommodating and very helpful from the planning to the actual wedding day. They took care of everything from the food, drinks, cake, to setting up our decorations and dealing with any unforeseen events. There was never any negativity or reasons why they couldn't accommodate. They truly made our wedding spectacular! read more
