Incredible experience!! My family and I had so much fun we decided we need to make this an annual tradition. Alex and Serena were so incredibly kind and accomodating and that made all the difference. The boat was beautiful and comfortable and fully equipped with blankets and pillows for when it got cold. Such an unforgettable experience, we will definitely be returning.

So much fun! We rented this for a girls birthday celebration & had such a great time! The crew was kind courteous, thoughtful & even took our photos/videos so we could have memories to take home. The boat was the perfect size for 8 of us & the layout was a good one. They had plastic glasses for our drinks & everything we needed for a smooth trip! We gathered around the small table, sat at the front with cozy blankets & pillows & bean bags!

Such an amazing experience! LEI Boat Charter exceeded our expectations by answering all of our questions and giving spot-on suggestions (thank you for the chef, she was outstanding). Great communication and follow-up. It feels good to deal with humans who care, not some middle-man leasing corporation. They made sure our yacht trip for 12 went as smooth as possible, they managed everything, and all we had to do was to enjoy ourselves between Marina del Rey and Malibu. A memorable experience worth every penny. Highly recommended!

What an incredible experience! We rented Lei Boat Charter's 42' with Captain Guy for our group of 10 and had a great time. Very capable and knowledgable captain/crew. They want to make sure that you get the experience you want, whether it is in the Marina or sailing in the open ocean. We did both and found that we really liked the Marina. The views are beautiful and it's a smooth ride. Marina del Rey is pretty huge, so you still get a good variety of scenery. The booking process was online and very easy, and communication leading up to our charter was smooth and proactive. I would highly recommend Lei Boat Charter! read more

My friends rented Lei Boat Charter to celebrate their birthdays with friends. It was a wonderful experience! The boat was big, comfortable and clean...lots of different spaces to hang out...inside, our outside on the front or back decks. The captain and crew were great! The sea was a little choppy at times making it a little challenging to get back up to the front deck with a beverage, but they helped, taking my hand and beverage to escort me up front. It was also easy (and cheap) to park for 4 hours right at the dock. And, we had a gorgeous day, great sailing and a fantastic birthday celebration! I highly recommend! read more

Awesome boat tour from Marina Del Rey! You have to fill out a couple forms to get on the docks and on the boat, but other than that, it was smooth sailing. Good staff who brings you drinks and ensures you have a good time. Good size boat for our group with snacks and water. Great views of the coast. Three hours goes by incredibly fast but it's definitely worth a visit, especially for a special occasion like a birthday. Recommend! read more

Wowww, what an amazing birthday! I booked a 5pm - 8pm sunset ride and it was a great experience for all of us. We were well taken care of and had soooo much fun. A couple bottles of wine and snacks were provided, and we brought a lot of our own. Super clean, super smooth. Everything was easy, from booking and understanding the details (great communication) to the ride itself. This is also the most reasonably priced catamaran with a reasonable cancellation policy that I could find as well! My only note would be that location directions were a bit confusing. My friends and I all agreed we need to come back ASAP, hah! read more

oh my gosh i had so much fun on this charter! we did a half day and i didn't feel seasick at all since we went on such a great day. The Lagoon 42 foot catamaran is stunning! It is so much bigger than it looks in the photos! It's BIG, more than enough room for 12 people. There are numerous places to congregate, layout, etc... We wanted to do a boat charter for my bachelorette trip in LA and had the most incredible time sailing with LEI. We did a 4 hour charter on their 42' Catamaran with Captain Nick and Julien, who were so amazing and took care of all our needs. They explained all the safety rules and made us feel super comfortable. Everything you might need is provided on the boat. They even took us to see a huge group of sea lions that were hanging out on some buoys; that was such a fun surprise! The boat has plenty of room, you can play your own music, and bring any drinks/food you want. We had a magical time! I would not hesitate at all to recommend LEI to anyone, and I am definitely going to go back again. read more

My husband and I held a small anniversary get together on LEI Charters and it was magical! The boat itself is brand new and extremely clean and the staff was amazing! Valter the captain was so nice and entertaining he took his time explaining everything which was extremely helpful for our guest! Nicole and her team of bartenders did such a great job helping set up and keep my all our guest boozy which is what we wanted! Everyone enjoyed themselves so much and the boat ride was so magical! Checking in was also a breeze, as the boat is conveniently docked outside a hotel that provided valet parking. The boat itself is very clean and had plenty of seating space (both inside & outside) as well as room in the front netting to enjoy ocean views from both side. We brought our own food and drinks to enjoy. We had Captain Ron throughout our excursion who is simply the BEST. You can tell that he has a ton of experience, and even brought us to see pods of dolphins swimming! He expertly navigated us so close to the dolphins, and this experience was the highlight of our weekend.

Two rentals here, two completely different experiences. My first was perfectly fine. My second left…read moreme with no intention of ever coming back, and the reason has a name: the owner, Mark Sentyrz. Credit where it's due -- the staff working the docks were warm and helpful every time. The owner was the opposite. What I watched over the course of that second visit was a man who seemed to make up charges and rules as he went. The clearest example was my own deposit, which somehow climbed from the $300 I was quoted when I booked online to $450 on arrival -- a 50% jump I never agreed to and never saw written anywhere during checkout. And I wasn't the only one. Customer after customer got the same treatment. One person tried to simply walk away from the whole thing, and he laughed at them and announced he'd be keeping their $95. The way he treated his own team was just as hard to watch. Certain employees seemed to be his favorites; others he'd put down openly, right in front of paying customers. The whole place had a tense, on-edge feeling to it. He struck me as genuinely intimidating, and honestly, if I worked there I don't think I'd ever feel safe pushing back on any of it. One more thing I'd want to know before handing this person a deposit. According to a 2003 Tahoe Daily Tribune article, a Mark Sentyrz who owned a Lake Tahoe boat-rental business pleaded guilty to felony unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor under 16, as well as furnishing a controlled substance to a minor. I'd encourage anyone curious to look it up and form their own view. Having a boat rental right here in the Marina should be something the community gets to enjoy. The way this one is run, it's the opposite. Skip it.

As someone who didn't grow up near the ocean, I was apprehensive about taking a 6-day 101/103/104…read moreand 114 ASA certification course suggested by my spouse. But luckily Captain Anthony (aka The Happy Captain) helped to dispel any of those fears. His 30+ years of sailing experience and instruction got us up to speed quickly on the 38-ft catamaran "Untethered". In addition to sailing, we learned provisioning, how to anchor at mooring balls in Catalina, and spent 4 nights on board. It's hard to express they joy I felt at seeing the dozens of dolphins that joined us one afternoon. The man overboard drills we did offshore of Marina Del Rey were also memorable. We brought our own Starlink terminal and were able to familiarize ourselves with some of the navigation and weather apps. Ruth in the office made sure all of our logistics went smoothly. We had signed up a few months prior, with a promo offered during the 2025 Newport Boat Show. Big thanks to the team at Blue Pacific. Highly recommend!

He was supposed to sing until 8:30pm but he went a little bit over; however, the park employees stuck to the agreed upon time and shut the restrooms down around 7:45pm. I think porta potties were available. The issue with this park is the parking. Every year they host a big singer in the music industry for their summer concert series but they never have ample parking. I think the city needs to invest in shuttle service and rent out a big lot so people can park remotely and hop on a shuttle to the concert. They can charge a fee to park which would get more people to ride share. I did find parking at the Chase Bank for $13. I got there at 5:45pm. So hunting for parking shouldn't have been a thing. There aren't many trees there so make sure wear sunscreen and wear a sun hat. There were food trucks there for the event. I just stopped at Trader Joe's which is right next to the park. The backdrop is beautiful of the boats in the marina. I will still come but they need to address the parking issues.

Second, if your a tax paying resident and a student you get the cheapest rate, but some of the staff (Dave) take it upon themselves to dictate rules and limit you on how many you can buy (like a Nazi). Lockers and locker rooms are near disgusting. Amazing how a city that has 1-bedroom apartments that rent for $6,000 can't make a nicer facility.

The locker room is what you'd expect in a facility open to the public, but the pool itself, water quality, staff attitude and lifeguards are all first class. The pool water temperature and chlorine levels are nearly always right where they should be. At times when I've forgotten my goggles, I have completed my workout without great eye discomfort. Currently, October 2022, the pool is not open as many hours as it was prior to the pandemic. On Saturday and Sunday afternoons, the pool is divided in half with four lanes for laps swimmers ; the balance of the pool is reserved for recreational swimmers. There is a diving board for those that pass the swim test. Be sure to check the schedule before heading to the pool as swim lessons can intrude on lap swimming lanes. Children's and adult swim lessons are offered for a modest price, and the classes tend to be small. Most all of the staff wear face masks at all times. As of now, masks are not required for entry. The entry fee has varied over the years, but it has always been very affordable. Right now, 2022, seniors get in for one dollar.

This pool is located on the campus of Venice High School, and is open to the public during various hours (see website for details). Also, it is the only indoor pool in that area that I know of beside the one at the Santa Monica 24 hour fitness. The locker rooms, like any public pool, leave much to be desired, and are built like concrete bunkers. The walls and floor are all concrete, thus cold pools of water cover the entire floor and it is freezing in there, especially when you're wet. However one thing I liked was that rather than having actual lockers, there is an attendent behind a cage window that you hand your items to kind of like a coat check. They also have these mesh bags that you can use which hang on these metal poles they set up so that you don't have to put your stuff onto the wet bench or floor. Once you put everything in the bag you simply hand it to the attendant for you to get later. This way you don't have to cram everything into a little locker or worry about bringing your own lock. There are also lifeguards on duty and they have kickboards and poolbuoys available for use. The structure itself is also very well ventilated so though it gets colder than a smaller building, there is less of that strong chlorine smell. All of the attendants and lifeguards on duty are friendly and helpful. The crowd is mixed, though I would say it skews toward the older side. All in all, this is a great place if you're looking for a no frills swim. While you do have to suck it up while you're undressing/dressing before and after swimming if you're going during the colder months (and wet floors and benches are annoying), the pool is spacious and well kept. I also love that it's less than 2 miles from my apt.

We charted their brand new 46' catamaran Lynn St. Clair for our honeymoon in Malibu! This boat was a DREAM! It was stunning, in perfect condition, exceptionally clean and comfortable and had all the amenities a boat could have - and then more! We were able to hook our music up into their speaker system and listen to our fave playlists while sailing on the water, we even brought Battleship and played a round of it while sitting on the bow. We brought snacks on board and drinks and truly had the greatest time. Valter and his crew were so nice to us, and helped with every single thing all day long. We got an impressive boat tour, were able to feel confident with how we utilized the vessel and couldn't get over how luxurious everything felt. Unfortunately the water was a little cold that day so the wind was chilly - but they had tons of blankets for us and a heater inside that made us perfectly comfortable and happy. This was the kind of social distancing I need in my life on a regular basis. Wow! I went on a sunset cruise and with spacious indoor and outdoor seating, three bedrooms, and two bathrooms it was easy to have your own space. Everything was clean. The captain is the best around, so knowledgeable, kind, and really loves his job. I knew nothing about boats going in, and I learned that the catamaran (the boat we were on) is great because there's less likeliness of getting sea sick because it's so wide it doesn't tilt back and forth. I booked LEI Charter for my hubbies 44th birthday and an end of quarantine party! The captain met us at the parking lot and walked us to the gorgeous catamaran! He even gave us a wheel barrel to put all of our stuff in to make it an easy walk. We had 4 kids with us and 8 adults. We had such a beautiful day! The captain was such a great host, we spent 4 hours on the water and maximized every minute of of it. Spacious bathrooms and sleeping quarters and an overall excellent experience. If I could give this charter more stars I would. I have been out on different boat charters before and this has to be my favorite. We went out as a company for a 3 hour trip and it couldn't have been more perfect. The captain and crew were very kind and fun hosts. I felt safe and at ease with them. My group and I had an AMAZING experience. We booked the 55' Marquis for a surprise birthday celebration for my best friend, and everyone was so accommodating. If we had any questions, there was a direct line we could contact. We also booked a private chef using Nicole's recommendation and the food was so delicious.
