Being a brand spankin' new 9th islander, I had to check out Leilani's Attic. Prices are a little on the high end, however, they have the market cornered because there aren't many places where you can purchase Hawaii items such as Aloha Shoyu, Redondo's Sausages, Hawaiian Sun, at Hawaii prices. Service was friendly and attentive, helpful, couldn't ask for more in that area. Unless you're getting a care package sent to you by a loved one, you won't find low prices for these things. Except for the $1,99 Redondo's that was on sale at Costco. I'm glad there are little shops like this when I needed it. Didn't realize I'd miss Aloha Shoyu until I moved. read more

Exceptional service from sales associate Makua. I was frustrated with the online ordering system while placing my graduation lei orders, but Makua went above and beyond to assist me with both orders and ensured everything was completed smoothly. I received my items as promised and truly appreciated the excellent customer service and care throughout the process. The only discrepancy was that the tuberose flowers I originally requested had to be substituted due to inclement weather in Hawaii. While I was hoping for the fragrant flowers, I understand this was completely out of the business's control. Nice little spot, I didn't even notice they were here. I've been to Aloha Kitchen a few times next door too. I found this place on tiktok but they said they had pies. I didn't see any. They do have an assortment of snacks, food to cook at home, shoyu etc. On the other side they have clothing and bags from Hawaii. I felt like I was back there that I wanted to buy everything. I just told myself, stay calm and pace yourself lol. You'll be back soon enough... I couldn't leave without buying the vienna sausage that I grew up with iykyk.. What a great little shop for people from Hawaii who are 'Jonzing' for Ono grinds. They carry a lot odd snacks like li hing mui seeds, one ton chips, and others - for main course meals there are poi, luau leaves, can corned beef and even aloha shoyu - even the light salt shoyu. Poi comes in every Friday and sometimes there is kulolo! The value is a little higher than Hawaii - like the corn beef is a couple bucks more here. Seed standard pack are $5. People are great there, and they 'talk story' if you have any questions. I will use this store as a solid back up if I need supplies - but I would still get my main supple direct in my suitcase. If you're looking for food, snacks or merchandise from the Pacific Islands, this store is the place to visit. It's located just minutes from the Las Vegas strip and as soon as you step through the doors, you'll feel like you're home in Hawaii. I was greeted with Aloha and the staff was willing to help me find anything I needed. I came here to pick up some Li Hing Mui snacks and they have a very large selection to choose from. I would say the largest selection you can find here on the mainland. You'll also find fresh flower leis, Poi, Manapua, snacks, drinks and merchandise like shirts, hats, jewelry and home decor. I came in on Veterans Day and because I'm a U.S. Air Force veteran, they gave me a 20% discount which I appreciated. I was told they have two locations in San Diego where I reside. Needless to say, I'll definitely be dropping in when I return home. So...if you're homesick for the islands, stop by and share the Aloha. We all need to feel closer to our Hawaiian homeland. One of few Hawaiian Stores I have come across. I came all the way from the bus to get the Choward Violet mints and they were sold out. Yes other people would be coming here to other bigger snacks and refrigerated items like Hing Lu products, jams, hurricane popcorn, and Hawaiian clothes and accessories. I didn't buy anything since my main goal were those mints but I did see the shortbread cookies from 3 major Hawaiian brands I recognize like Diamond Head. Over all it's great to buy things to remember your visit from the islands. Also this tiny plaza has two other Hawaiian eateries that are mom and pop. Very nice and friendly workers. read more

Wow they have Zippy's in the freezer, my favorite poi and kulolo. They carry Redondo. They even do custom stickers to make your hydro-flask fancy. They even had a variety of Tahiti Monoi. I placed an order on 9/16 to give as a gift, according to their website shipping is 2-7 days. After 1 week I checked tracking and it said delivery on October 1, taking over 2 weeks., even after paying $10 for shipping. I have ordered from many companies on the Westcoast to Honolulu and I usually get it in days or within a week. I wrote to their customer service email address to ask if this was their normal shipping time to Hawaii, to date I have not received an acknowledgement or reply. This time around, the store is bigger and they have many more items from Hawaii. Decided to get some Li Hing candy and Hawaii's finest tee shirts. Leilani's had a nice variety of fresh lei in a refrigerated case all at reasonable prices. I ended up picking up some kukui but leis at the great price of $9.95 a piece! They have super cute ones with the UNLV & UH logo & colors for about $25 too, along with artificial lei and pua (flowers) in clip and pick forms. They had a fake maile lei which was perfect! It is a very nice lei as far as fake leis go. Tyson was there to help us and show us all the different things that they had in the store. Are you looking for real leis? Perfect! Starting 4/11/19 they will have fresh leis year round. They are going to be affordable leis, not the $80 leis. I personally am excited to see what they bring in. Are you a bigger guy and can't find local style shirts in your size? Come to Leilani's attic. They have 4XL Hawaiian shirts, local T-shirt's and larger size swim trunks. They also have a very nice selection of Hawaiian treats. Soda crackers? Got it. Cream crackers? Got it. One of the coolest things there that you won't find anywhere else is there collection of vacuum sealed water bottle that have cool designs on them. After receiving a text (below) I called the store to discuss the confusion and my dissatisfaction. The employee told me to email the owner or manager. I emailed the owner and did not receive a response. A few days later I forwarded the message to the manager. Again no response. After 2 weeks I called to see if she got my email. Spoke with Nahaku and she said well it was signed for. You asked us to substitute and we did. Not exactly what happened. My main issue other than the fact that my lei looked nothing like what's shown on their website, is the lack of professionalism and courtesy. A response to my email would have been appropriate. This is what I got compared to what is shown on website. I was never told on the phone canceling was an option. I settled for what they had and got swindled. Would never recommend them and certainly won't use them again. My original email: I feel compelled to write you about my recent order and disappointment. I placed and order for double ordchid/tuberrose and the day before pickup at 4pm I was told the tuber rose didn't look good amd the blue was no longer available. So I substituted it for white and red rose and I expected it as pictured on the website. White orchids werent available till late afternoon nor was the red roses. The lady I spoke with suggested purple with pink roses and stated she just did one and it came out good. So I settled. I did not pick up the order and I had not seen not until today. Had I picked it up I would not have taken it. They are mini roses. Some Red and pink and can barely be seen. Not even close to what the website picture represents. I understand this is a very busy time for you and sometimes it's necessary to make last minute changes. However had I been told they were mini roses and wouldn't be noticed, I would not have gone with them. I am asking for at least a 50 percent refund due to the quality of not meeting expectations. On an other note, when the item was picked up, the workers had to be told 5 different times what the order number was. It couldn't be found and took a long time to finally receive the flowers A day after pickup, today, I received a text: Aloha your leis are still ready for pickup from yesterday at Leilani's Attic. We can only hold until 7pm today. Why so much confusion? Makes me wonder if I actually received the correct order. Thank you for your time and assistance in correcting this issue. read more
