After scouring the internet for ideas, I stumbled upon Go Ramble's grocery delivery service and knew immediately this was going to be an awesome way to make their vacation that much more relaxing. The ordering process through the website was a breeze. There are great package options, however I opted for a customized list so I could add some goodies that would spoil my parents. My list included the usual eggs, milk, bagels, etc, with the addition of special items such as wine, cheese, and rotisserie chicken. I uploaded my list and waited. About 8 hours later I got a call from Diana with a friendly ALOHA! to start this terrific experience. It was pretty obvious Diana's labor is one of love. Not only did she clarify the items on my list, she suggested to add certain Hawaii staples that I wouldn't have even thought of! For the curious folks, those items include Macadamia Nut Chocolates, fresh fruit, and Tuna Poke salad that she guaranteed my parents would die for. I gave Diana the details of my parents' trip and so the rest of the surprise was in her hands. Fast forward to 2 days later. My parents had a 9hr flight to Oahu, and by the time they got to their hotel they were famished. They entered their room that had a breathtaking view, and a little something something extra... A huge basket of goodies on the kitchen counter (see photo)!! It took them a minute to add 1 + 1 and they called me squealing with happiness because I saved them from the hassle of figuring out where to get food. The food held them over for about 3 days and everything was fresh and tastey! I put my trust in Diana to pick certain items like wine and cheese by giving her a general idea of what they liked, and she delivered above and beyond! Not to mention that infamous tuna poke salad that my mom still raves about!! All in all this experience was great for all parties involved and I will definitely be using this service for my own purposes when I go to Hawaii in May. What makes Kimo's bread pudding so easy-going I find, is that it's not custard-heavy and gummy like most bread pudding. It still retains the same familiar flavor but there's a nice airiness and crunch on the top from a delicious crust. It's like two-desserts in-one: reminiscent of a Kouign-Amon with a delicious comforting custard inside. If you are a chocolate-lover like me, Kimo has a divine chocolate bread pudding and currently for the holidays, a pumpkin cream cheese which I heard is a must. Popular for parties, you can order $12 loaves, $15 for flavors or party pans for $35, $40 for flavors. He also delivers if you live in the HK area for a small delivery fee. He used to post in the parking lot across from the HK Costco but haven't seen him there lately, but you can catch him at Kaiser's Farmer's Market from 4p-6p Tuesdays. She understood my need to create something amazing and visually appealing within my means and made suggestions that made it worth it to spend a little more that actually made it easier for me as I planned the event. Kelly put flavors together that I have never tried before. There were hand wrapped dolmas, truffle oil egg tea sandwiches, matcha Lilikoi cupcakes, cheese spreads with balsamic glazes, toasted nuts, and so much more. I've had so many charcuterie boards but hers stood out from the rest. 6) She goes above and beyond. Kelly didn't have to, but she thought it would be a cool idea to have matcha cupcakes, so she baked matcha Lilikoi cupcakes, beautifully dusted with matcha powder on the top and they were a hit! It was sooo moist and delicious. Everyone was so impressed that the grazing table mirrored the matcha event. Overall, we were so happy with the results! I'm probably missed so many details, but that's how good she was and how pleasant she was to work with! I thought certain decorations were going to be the highlight of the evening, but EVERYONE took photos and videos of her grazing table because it was a work of art! Very poor / slow customer service…read more My first order was delivered with no proteins (supposed to have steak, pork, and shrimp ... all I received was vegetables and meal cards / recipes.) There is no phone number to call, so I emailed them, and emailed again a couple of days later, and again a couple of days later. I did eventually hear back and was given a $30 dollar coupon for another order. Essentially I paid nearly $70 for about $25 worth of vegetables (for me to buy the missing proteins was almost $45). I did place a second order with the coupon and no issues with delivery on the second order. Pros: delivery is convenient, meals are not hard to make, instructions are pretty clear. Cons: POOR customer service, cannot include some meals from the regular menu and some from the gluten free (it is one or the other), meals are not overly flavorful, no cooling packs / ice in the delivery boxes and no effort to place the box in the shade on my porch (box was left in direct sun and was very warm when I got home -- likely effected quality of the vegetables)

Best of all, everyone is still raving about the food. Some people have told me that "it was the best wedding food they have ever had." The appetizers were sliders and garlic shrimp. The short rib and fresh white fish were showstopper entrees and all the sides garlic noodles, rice, potatoes and veggies really completed the meal! Chef Andrew also offers a oyster bar and that was a huge hit! FYI order more than less as folks were destroying these oysters and Chef was putting in work shucking them to order.
