I cannot say enough great things about this facility or the people who manage it. We visited this past weekend with family, and had a wonderful time. Pops was our tour guide, and he is such a kind, funny and welcoming person. The tour was engaging and entertaining from start to finish. After we toured the Distillery, Pops showed us how to sniff & taste Whiskey (note: I don't even like Whiskey and I enjoyed it). After the tasting we enjoyed a beverage on the patio and listened to live music. We will absolutely be back - it was a remarkable experience. This was our first distillery experience, and we can honestly say this will not be our last! From the moment we stepped on the property, we were greeted with friendly smiles and a friendly hello! Our tour guide, Matt, was friendly, funny, and very knowledgeable. The other staff members were extremely kind and welcoming as well! The whiskey was delicious, and the tasting at the end made it seem like you were sipping with close friends and family. The facility was clean, had picnic tables, and cornhole. Such a wonderful area to take beautiful pictures to remind yourself of your time there. This is definitely a must see if you are ever in the Nashville, Franklin area! read more

Beautiful grounds and buildings. John, our tour guide, was informative, witty, and friendly. Great sense of humor! John was very patient as we milled about snapping photos. We went to Leiper's Fork Distillery for a tour and a tasting, and everything was just perfect! The barn/land are BEAUTIFUL. The tour guide is hilarious, and gave a toast that brought us to tears! My wife and I had a staycation in Franklin and decided to visit the Leiper's Fork Distillery. Neither one of us are big whiskey drinkers but we thought it might be fun and was it ever. From the minute we walked in it was a great experience. All the staff were super friendly and POPS the tour guide is awesome. Full of knowledge and funny as could be. A beautiful drive and amazing distillery. Everyone inside was so helpful and nice, we ended up buying lots of souvenirs to take home and can't wait to see what they have new next time I'm in town. The bottles are all hand labeled with batch #, bottle# and a signature. They were about to close so we were able to get a drink from Emily out front and they were amazing. It was a white whiskey slushy and a spiked Arnold Palmer! Emily seen us pull up and waited to serve us even though it was closing time. A must stop when you're in Nashville. The drive is so worth is there's a confederate museum on the way and a few cute little restaurants. The staff made the visit, thanks guys! read more

LOVED this stop! Our group had an amazing visit to Leiper's Fork-we've been talking about it ever since! We were traveling in Nashville from California and decided a distillery tour was a must. We pulled into Leiper's Fork and immediately knew we made the right choice. Lee, the master distiller, was our tour guide and took his time to explain the incredible process of making whiskey...I had no idea how complex it is! We met the dog and cats, peeked in the giant barrels and I even got to bottle my own bourbon whiskey (Hunter's Select Barrel) which was one of many highlights! After the tour, Lee took us inside for the tasting which was also a wonderful experience. Our pourer was engaging, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Even though she's a Kentucky fan and I'm a Kansas fan, we bonded over kindness and whiskey. :) I absolutely recommend this place to any and everyone who is nearby or traveling through. Being from Southern California, we had a blast driving to Franklin from Nashville just to go to this location. Out by itself, away from the big city, it's a beautiful drive. Matt was our tour guide and was very knowledgeable, funny and easy on the eyes. Go Ladies! You won't be disappointed. For beginners or novels this is a good one to start. If you have been to the Whistlepig Tasting Room, or closer to home such as Chattanooga Whiskey or Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, you know this is a high school team competing with majors. I won't disparage their work, but for me, I wish I had passed it by. If you are going because it is near give it a try, but I recommend using your money for a bottle of Elijah Craig, Angels Envy or Monkey Shoulder. I expect you will get more value. read more

Everyone who greeted us as we stepped inside the retail area of the beautifully restored barn was so friendly. We loved our visit to the distillery. We went on a tour and the guide was amazing. We learned so much and you really get a feel for how much they love their business. The buildings are really gorgeous and the grounds are also beautiful. We had a great time drinking and listening to live music on the porch. They have tons of seating and cute rocking chairs everywhere. Great for groups. It was very peaceful and relaxing. I'd definitely make this one of your to-dos on a trip to Nashville. Pops was the best part of the tour. He is not only entertaining with his witty humor and funny stories but he's so knowledgeable about their products. He had me laughing, smiling and almost brought me to tears with the story of his grandfather. It was a great little tour and a nice thing to do out in beautiful Lieper's Fork! Went here with my wife and have a great tour, with a very nice man, named "Pops." It is definitely worth coming here for a visit!

We are doing a distillery tour of Tennessee and have been to four small batch distilleries so far. This one is the top for operations, knowledgeable staff, friendly employees and the best tour guide we have ever had, Pops! They make you feel like family, not to mention making the smoothest Tennessee whiskey that has yet to roll over my tounge. Great product and great place to tour.
