Super cute and fun place. Atmosphere is quaint and country. Luke was an amazing tour guide and very knowledgeable! It's a hidden gem in Leiper's Fork! Oh and the Porch Swing is so tasty and refreshing! We loved it all!

Very nice small batch distillery making high end whiskeys. We had a tasting st the outdoor bar which on a nice day is a pleasant environment. I have one gripe, that for a high end boutique distillery making pricy whiskeys they give you plastic cups for your tasting pours, pretty low class imo. How about investing in some mini glencarin glasses like other distilleries in your league?

Lovely relaxed vibe with very friendly people in a beautiful casual setting that invites you to stay a while and meet new people.

A relatively new stop on the Tennessee Whiskey Trail, Leiper's Fork Distillery has been open for about 8 years. It's a lovely locale about 25 minutes away from downtown Franklin. With charming wooden architecture, including an antique wood tasting room relocated to the site, it's picturesque, with the requisite gift shop and tasting tours but also an outdoor bar area and multiple fire pits where they host events and where you can roll up with a picnic lunch and enjoy the scenery. Tours last 50 minutes, including their visiting production facility and the tasting. Can't do a full tasting and tour but want to sample the whiskey? They offer self-guided flights.

My first stop on the Tennessee whiskey trail and I loved it! Our bartender was so fun and friendly. We did a flight and tried the frozen drink of the day, which seemed weird to get a frozen whiskey drink, but it was so good! We'll come back when in town again!

Very fun environment inside downtown Franklin. Had a fun time with my husband. I had mixed drinks and he enjoyed the bourbon.

What a great spot. Friends who live in the area took us here. He bought a bottle and we headed out back to sit, chat, and play cornhole... while listening to music. Don't miss it if you are in the area.

Thank you for speaking at the Downtown Franklin Rotary Club! And thank you for giving back to our local community, you are simply awesome! If you are visiting Franklin or a local looking for a fun adventure take a short drive to Leiper's Fork and take a tour and sample some fine local whisky! Cheers

I was here back in 2021 and enjoyed a flight. This time back I had their old fashioned cocktail. We sat outside by the fire pits and enjoyed each others company. An employee occasionally came over and added wood to our fire. All employees were so kind and accommodating. The spirits were all delicious and unique. We ended up taking home a bottle of the white whiskey.

We arrived shortly after 4, hoping for a tour. The staff welcomed us as soon as we stepped onto the porch, asking if they could help us. The last tour of the day was already in progress, but they slipped us into the tour (it had begun shortly before. Charley was a rock star of a tour guide - knew the process, knew the product, connected to the history of place. Was lovely. This straightforward tour doesn't have you walking for miles, but simply taking in the inner workings of place. Learned all sorts of new. Very responsive to questions. Finished with a tasting, which was educational in and of itself. Likely affects how I enjoy my whiskey, bourbon and what not from now forward. Worth a stop. I had a favorite - the Tennessee Whiskey. Nice finish on it. My partner preferred the Bourbon but opted out of the tasting - which as I shared, changes how I'll taste it into the future. And don't bypass this reasonably priced, quaint store! Thanks to Charley, other staff and the fam. Well done!!

Our second time here was very different than our first, yet both were so enjoyable! Our first time here was eoth friends visiting from NY in October but it was dead cold! We enjoyed it nonetheless because the gift shop was plentiful, tour was awesome, the whiskey was delicious! The second visit, we brought our parents and their 95lb dog. It was July, so warm and humid, but an overcast day provided some relief from the sun. We stayed outside while they took the tour. Played some Bags (cornhole) and enjoyed the drinks and snacks from the bar! It was completely different and we got to talk to some of the staff, people who have worked here since the beginning of opening in it's current form, and many friendly Tennesseans who were admiring our pooch. Highly, highly recommend for the tourist and local alike! You will not be disappointed!

Again, nice place and we will be back, but when you have an intimate/small setting like they do, I would make a small suggestion of being a bit more personable, and being able to keep better track of customer checks.

I like a little of everything - smoky, peaty, sweet - as long as its reasonably smooth and well balanced. Given this preference, I tend to know better than to go with cask strength whiskeys, but I tried their maple wood finished cask strength to be a good sport. And to my surprise it was just perfect - like the extra concentration (57.7% vs the standard 40%) added more flavor rather than more burn. I think it was about $100 a bottle so I grabbed one and decided to check a bag so I could bring it home - it was that good.

Dodging yet another storm that rolled through when our group was here, we posted up in Nelson's Green Brier for an hour or so. I haven't struggled so much like I have here to pick a craft cocktail. There are so many good ones on the menu that fit any type of pallet, that it took me so long to decide. I got a modified old fashioned and then there was a martini-like drink that I tried. Both really packed a punch, luckily we were walking to our next destination. In the store they seemed to have a flash-sale going on for one of the bourbons. It was normally around $75 or something and I got it for $45. I am sure that's not normal but it really made the selection even better, because the wall of whiskey/bourbon is also really tough to choose what you want!

The staff were all polite and welcoming. Our tour guide (forgot his name, but I have a picture of him!) was awesome! He was funny, personable, and very knowledgeable. He shared that he's been at NGD for the past 3 years and you could tell that he enjoys his job. The tour was great. The only downside was that half of the property was off-limits or non-operational at the moment. The time slot of our tour unfortunately occurred closer to closing time so we weren't able to check out their bar, Humble Baron. We did get to visit the speakeasy on the property and the area where they pour and bottle for the welcome center. It would've been fun to check out the stables to see all of the pretty horsies. Overall, it was a good experience. To visit a place filled with rich history, black history. Praying for the Nearest success for more opportunities to continue sharing the Green legacy.

When I found BOF I knew we'd be in good hands. We booked the 3 distilleries + winery option (best bang for our buck and best way to see multiple places). But as our trip drew closer, the restrictions on bars and places began to return. About a week prior to our visit, BOF alerted us that we either would have to do just 1 distillery and the winery or we could get a refund completely. Since this experience was part of the whole reason we chose Nashville, we decided to back down to just the 1 distillery option. The company was great about keeping in contact with us up until the day. We met the bus at the designated pick up location, got inside, introduced ourselves and then the door closed and the wheels started moving. We were shocked that they kept our reservation - we were in a party bus and it was just the two of us! We were told we could bring roadies (we opted for coffee because we're old and needed the mid-day pick-me-up) and the bus was stocked with water and snacks. Off we went to our distillery - Corsair. It was a very cool brick building, and our guide (I wish I could remember her name, so sorry) got us checked in. Since we were about 30 minutes early, we had time to explore the rest of the building/shops which was a bonus. After the fantastic tour and tasting, we re-boarded and began our drive to Arrington Winery. Although any $ spent at Arrington is not included in the cost of BOF, it was totally worth it to have them take us there. It is a bit of a hike and I wouldn't feel comfortable driving myself back to downtown after a visit there. We had about 1.5 hours at Arrington which was perfect for some tastings, a glass of frose and some snacks. Our driver was safe, and super nice. Since it was just the two of us, we asked if she could drop us off direct at our hotel (about 2 miles away from the determined location) and she did, which saved us an additional UBER ride, so thank you! I look forward to whenever everything opens back up and we can book another tour with them again to try out some new places!
