Nelson's Green Brier is 100% worth the visit. They have a spacious restaurant area with an abundant menu of delicious entrees and small bites. We enjoyed a seat at the bar enjoying having a pretzel with great cheese dip along with a well crafted cocktail. Though the bar stretched far across the room we received fast and attentive service. Nelson's Green has a wild history and it is a treat to hear about it during the distillery tour. When that is all wrapped up, the distillery is part of the Marathon Motor Works complex which includes a number of great other businesses to check out.

We love Nelson's! They have a great brunch, but we also love the supper club. It is such a great portion you get for drinks and all the food is great. This one is from the Kentucky Derby deemed so it was all Southern food, but we also did an Asian one that was great as well. They are super friendly and the distillery is beautiful. Also, if you go for brunch, you need to try the skillet banana bread!!

My husband & I came to Nashville to visit my daughter & found this whiskey distillery that offers tours! What a great learning experience! The tour guide was awesome, we enjoyed all the history about this distillery & restaurant! The greeter & waitress were so friendly! We had a short window before our tour so we only ordered appetizers but they were all delicious!! Sorry, forgot to take pics of the food! I highly recommend this place if you're in Nashville!!

Sad I didn't get to take a tour but the experience was great nonetheless! The space inside is gorgeous!! It's spacious, open and very green. All the drinks we got from the bar were made with perfection. I got the frozen old fashion but I should have looked at the menu more because they had a smoked old fashion that sounded amazing. Next time I will definitely try it. Service was friendly and so quick. The membership with them is definitely worth signing up, the perks are great! Overall, I highly recommend!

This place was the highlight of the day! The tour was amazing--super informative, engaging, and well-paced. The tastings afterward were excellent, with smooth options that had us both smiling. Highly recommend starting or ending your distillery crawl here.

Yelp needs to create a special 10 star category for those deserving, and this distillery is one of those! Firstly- amazing space. The 3 piece jazz band was a great touch. Food: they have a lunch and brunch service, and my mushroom grits were fantastic! Pro tip: pair the grits with the rye whiskey, and prepare to be amazed. Daniel at the bar was fantastic on knowledge and service. The distillery tour with Therese was thoroughly enjoyable. It was fun and informative, with a tasting at the end. And you'll get a discount on merch if you book a tour. There is a great story behind this distillery as well. I had a wonderful time here, and this business really made my time in Nashville shine.

Arrived for a tasting, got seated at the bar and were greeted by the bartender promptly. Had to sit there for about 10 minutes or so while she dealt with other customers, no big deal. I did the Flagship flight which sampled the 4 Whiskey's in the posted photo. The Tennessee whiskey was not bad but had a bit of an harsh taste. Liked the Classic Bourbon. The Rye Whiskey was ok but not to my taste and I do like Rye. The Reserve Bourbon was very good. It maybe high proof but finished smoothly. Beautiful place, lots of extras to purchase and they also serve food. Worth the visit.

We visited Green Brier Distillery for a whiskey tasting and tour, and it was such a great experience! Our guide, Sophia, was absolutely lovely -- friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing the rich history of the Green Brier family and the process of making Tennessee whiskey. The tour was both educational and entertaining, and we ended with a tasting where Sophia walked us through how to properly taste and appreciate each pour. It was so much fun -- we learned a lot and laughed along the way. The distillery itself is beautiful and welcoming, and the whiskey is genuinely delicious. I'd absolutely do this again and recommend it to anyone visiting Nashville!

Parking was easy, the vibe and aesthetic inside is so cute !! Had some food before our tasting tour, the wings and the spinach dip were my favorite, delicious !! We also got the cornbread, good too but wouldn't order again. The service (including the waitress Kara) and our tour guide Zach was awesome!! Genuine and passionate, the whiskey was great and i don't even usually drink whiskey. 10/10 recommend !!

Planned an outing for my friend & I at Nelson's Green & we both enjoyed it! We did the tour & tasting, and our tour guide taught us so much about the history of this brand, which includes an interesting family story. The facility is smaller than some of the others in the area, but beautiful. The tasting was one of the best I've been to because of the palate wheel helping us identify notes in the different blends. There's free parking in most parts of the street in the area & there's a free lot designated for distillery patrons. Great outing for tourists & Nashvillians.

This place came highly recommended and did not disappoint. When you enter the place, you're greeted by someone at a desk where you could sign up if you want to take their tour. I opted to skip the tour since they're almost closing and I'd rather take my time enjoying my drinks. I went to the bar and behind it was a clear glass where you can see the huge vats where they make the magic potions. They have plenty of cocktails on the menu and of course individual whiskeys and flights. I got their house classic reserve and a cocktail (Always whiskey in the banana stand) and ohhhhh boy... they were heavenly. So smooth. Loved how easy it felt drinking it and the burn that followed soon after. The cocktail was nice and sweet; giving me a break in-between, but still have enough whisky to remind you that this should be the highlight of the experience.

Great tasting! Amazing food! Beautiful place all around! We are new to this area. Originally from the west coast. As soon as we walked in, we sat at the bar and were greeted with an awesome smile! The tasting we had was great! We ordered the wings to pair and they were also amazing. Unfortunately, I don't remember the young lady that served us but she was amazing as well. When I come back to visit Nashville, I will be sure to bring guests here!

As visitors to Nashville this place was more than inspiring. Staff are exceptionally friendly, accommodating and well trained. The restaurant is spacious, clean and in full view of the distillery. Every single item was delicious, including the pork schnitzel, their signature soup, salads, etc. Kara our waitress was wonderful, well informed and providing detailed explanations on every single food item on the menu.

Meanwhile, the other members of my group, all around the same age and carrying valid IDs, were able to order drinks without issue. As an Asian customer, I left this establishment believing I was racially profiled. I was singled out, denied service despite presenting valid identification, and never given a legitimate explanation for why my ID was supposedly unacceptable. Since the incident, I have found multiple reviews from other customers of color describing experiences that raised similar concerns about profiling and disparate treatment. The entire experience was humiliating, unprofessional, and unacceptable. There are plenty of businesses in Nashville that can verify IDs without treating customers this way.

We couldn't have been more wrong. Admission for two was a reasonable $50, and what we assumed would be a large group tour, ended up being an amazing near-private experience with our tour guide, Mitch. Mitch was absolutely incredible. He walked us over to the distilling room, where he explained how their bespoke process works, Corsair's distilling philosophy, and proudly showed off Ethyl, their 100+ year-old pot still. Once we got back to the tasting room, and after our first taste, we immediately regretted not trying Corsair years ago. Mitch did a great job explaining to us how each gin, whiskey, absinthe, rum, and rye are created. He also had an answer for all of our questions - feel free to ask away. Finally, we headed to their bar, where my wife had a drink called the "Easy, Breezy, Caprese," made with their American Gin, and I was able to roll a D-20 to let fate decide what drink I would try. I rolled a 4 and landed on a Bee's Knees, made with their Barreled Gin - a new favorite of ours. As mentioned, we should have tried Corsair's unique and delicious spirits sooner. We bought three bottles, and will look for theirs at home in the future. Finally, our top tip: When you book your tour, be sure to ask for Mitch. He loves what he does and truly shows he's passionate about it.
