My granddaughter did not know how to swim but now she does and she's so comfortable in the water. My grandson was always happy in the water but now he knows his strokes and swim lessons really added to his knowledge. They also are very accommodating with make up classes. Some swim instructors are OK and some aren't. The biggest pet peeve I have with this place is they never return your phone call and never answer the phone. They usually have two secretaries working at the front desk, so why is there two telephones but nobody will answer.!?? Second pet peeve is they unexpectedly cancel your scheduled class time and they won't notify you. For example: Last week there was a problem with the pool chemicals and they needed to dump in a bunch of soda ash to bring up the pH levels or something they said like that. The next day it was still super cloudy, and my child had to swim in it. After words, my child could not stop coughing because of accidentally drinking some of the water. The day before that, all classes were canceled because there was a serious problem with the pool chemicals. I wound up, traveling all the way down there because they didn't notify me in enough time to say the class was canceled. So when I went to the front desk, they told me on the following week on Monday, they were gonna give me an extra half hour for that canceled lesson. So here it is.. I go to the place on Monday and the place is all closed up! I never got a phone call, a text message or an email stating why the school was closed. I left a voicemail message explaining my concerns about what happened and why they were closed. I'm more than likely certain 100% guarantee that they won't call me back because they never call you back! Also, when my husband was setting up the swim lessons, they told him that if there was any problem with them canceling appointments, they would refund money. I feel like this won't even honor that especially with the way they're acting here. This location in Turnersville is acting like a fraudulent place. This place just loves taking your money, but they don't care if they cancel your classes and you wind up pay for a cancel class. Also, they love talking sh*t about other swim schools in the area- how they're no good, but bear paddle of Turnersville isn't any better! Whoever is the management running this swim place is doing a poor job!

They will keep your money for clases that were not taken. While they may have a policy in place it's important to also understand as a business if you do not hold your part up you need to meet the customer half way. Let's start at the beginning - I asked if my toddler would be with female instructors before signing her up for the next level program and specifically stated this is a requirement she must have due to anxiety. Tide water staff at the sign up counter said yes she would have two girls as they were on the schedule for this specific class weekly. However I kept seeing men rotate through with one female. First time I said to my daughter it's ok just a sub - she was not thrilled but at least participated which was huge for her . She was extremely anxious throughout the week to even go back but here I am telling her no it's girls you will be ok this week. Then we go again another male is in her class training??? You have a kid that has a special request/ need and you put a male in there to train? I literally had to get up and go to one of the girl instructors last week to let her know she doesn't do well with men - and this was because my daughter was crying and disrupting class due to the boy being there in the middle of class. My toddler requiring constant attention for crying is not fair to the other paying customers. Tidewater claims they tried to meet my daughter's needs but this was only when I asked for a refund for classes she wouldn't be taking. I am not gonna keep making false promises to my kid that she will be with girls when they put male's in there to train and sub plus 2 other weeks have a male in the class. 3 weeks in a row doesn't show me anything but they don't care. So yes I asked to be refunded for classes she wouldn't be taking because why would I come back ? It's 3 classes . I am not asking for clases she participated in to be refunded just the next 3 that includes yesterday which was a drive there and get right back in the car to go home since another boy was there I understand schedules are hard to make but if you really cared you wouldn't have put the man in there last week to train... but from my experience communication is definitely not their strong area. My daughter's comfort and safety is my top priority and I am only posting this to help other moms/dads make the best decisions for their kids . I as a mom/ consumer feel I did my job asking from the beginning the important questions . I as a mom feel that it is unfair that I am requesting a refund due my daughter no longer feeling safe and comfortable at their swim school and that not being met. I am posting this for the moms/dads that may not be able to throw away almost a full month of money if their kid has a specific request or need. Five star is more professional and accommodating to kids that may require a specific accommodations.

So VIP it is! Can't complain. We had to drink $600 worth of alcohol so if you're not a big group, I don't recommend. And if you are drinkers and think you're going to run up a tab this is the way to go. Cheaper option is a day bed and that too would have been perfect for us. The ambiance is a whole VIBE! We came on a cloudy day in the summer with the outside temperature being about 80 and the pool was freezing. There is no way this pool was heated in any way or it wasn't working that day. It wasn't just my group either, I watched the entire pool of people complaining about the temperature of the pool. The pool and the whole area is a little too small for the amount of people allowed inside. There aren't nearly enough chairs for everyone in the area. The whole thing basically turned into a musical chairs game waiting for people to leave to claim a spot. To make matters worse, their lockers weren't functioning or available during my visit for some reason. The only saving grace is the hot tub, that was actually kind of nice. Their bar also had a good selection of drinks that weren't overpriced. Maybe it was an off day, but I was completely disappointed and cannot recommend this pool at all.

The pools are kept so nicely and the lifeguards are (now) very good. Prior were TOO strict & borderline miserable. You can / we have spent whole days here. There is a bathroom, showers, vending machines and now a fridge. There are also grills, cabanas & sheltered areas for non sun bathers. Mister Softee comes by about every 3 hours too! Most recently, Chick Fil A days were added! Lastly, feel free to order out - delivery is allowed. Cant beat it!

The new patient processing was quick and easy. My son and I waited for his appointment with Peter for probably under 20 minutes. Peter evaluated my son. He was excellent and had a great, friendly demeanor. Peter explained all of the P.T. exercises to my son in an easily comprehensible way. We scheduled future appointments at check-out. Simple. My son had a good experience and we both left happy :)
