I had the pleasure of working with Rob on my 2019 Toyota Tacoma. I had to get it all set up with airbags air, compressor, winch, and front bumper to go on an off-road trip. Rob and his crew did an amazing job on installing a Lauren winch 12,000 pound with a steel bumper custom airbags and an ARB air compressor under the hood to inflate tires for off-road use. Everything was amazingly done very well and has been tested in the off-road of California and now Nevada. I want to give these guys a better rating but fair is fair. I recently got a hitch installed on my 2020 exploder and although they hustled to get it done quickly, in the end there were many errors that plagued me. The price was fair and they were easy to deal with so maybe the new model and no experience with it came into play. I had an important meeting scheduled after the hitch and although I thought I left plenty of time in my plans I barely made it on time and had to skip lunch to make it. They really did hustle to try to get me there on time. After the fact I heard weird noises coming from under my car. Turns out both mufflers were not set back on the hangers, oops. I was at the Ford dealer and they were nice enough to fix that for me. But it continued to rattle intermittently so I had to climb under the car where I found another hanger bolt not tightened all the way and the heat shield was rubbing on the hanger. I fixed it myself but lots of headache and I live too far away to have just gone back for LW to fix it. I'm assuming this is not the normal experience there but it was mine. I would still recommend them for truck parts as they gave a great showroom and are well equipped to do the job right. Hopefully your experience will be better. read more

Rob and his guys are great, wish there was a place like this everywhere. Rob is super down to earth and honest about his products and service. While George was syncing my tacoma's key fob to the shell lock (which I highly recommend since it was only $160) and only took an hour, Rob showed me different products around the shop such as the Decked system. While I was in the shop, Rob was non stop answering calls by himself. I highly recommend calling ahead and setting up a rough appointment. Rob estimated the job would take an hour and he was spot on. Could not open my tonneau cover. Cardboard box was to high that I put in. Put tension on latch. Called an made appointment for 2:00. I arrived at 1:56. My pickup was taken into the building . Pretty soon lid is open and owner told me no charge.Thanked owner but insisted on paying something. Owner said minimum charge is $20.00. Gladly gave this and was on my way clock said 2:13. I've been contemplating in putting a tow hitch on my SUV for years but had to as I've been wanting a bike. I was referred to this place and Rob, who answered my phone call was so friendly and helpful. He wasn't pushy but rather so inviting that made me finally decide to get it installed. This place is great, I bought a snug top for my 2013 ford crew cab. Rob gave me all the options available and compared Leer and Snug top. Rob is well informed and savvy salesman. I took my Nissan Titan in to have the factory trailer electrical activated and mounted (the receptacle for the trailer's electrical plug). All went well except the pin for the trailer running lights did not hot up. They spent over an hour checking and testing and seemed to be a Nissan defect. I was not charged for the extra time. They suggested I go to the Nissan dealer and ask their opinion. the Monterey dealer and mechanic were very helpful but offered no solution. I brought it back to Leisure West and they tapped the trucks running light system to make it work. They did not charge me even though the extra effort by them would have been justified. I think they are expert and honest. read more
