UPDATE 2/8/2018 Beware Leith BMW Does Not Like Negative YELP Reviews. I could not pickup my car until the next afternoon (the review was posted last night). When I went to pickup my car I was immediately confronted about making a negative review, I was forced to listen to the Service Writer lecture me for 5-10 minutes about how I don't know what I am talking about, unless you are certified BMW you cannot have an opinion. I told him I wasn't going to stand here all day and argue, he then stated it wasn't an argument because my opinion didn't matter. He then droned on about the car bing 5 years old with 36K on it and the software was old. (if this issue has been around why wasn't my car updated during its 4 year of included maintenance). Lets be clear they didn't replace any parts only updated the software that was causing the car to claim the engine malfunctioned (and then reduced the car to driving under 35MPH) so effectively making the car un drivable. In the day an age of VW that cheats emissions and iPhones reduce CPU when the battery is 2 years old and BMW dealers that talk down to you and resent being reviewed. Brought my BMW 2013 X1 because of a "engine malfunction" performance reduced. After taking to a a non dealer the code was that a software update was required to fix the bug that caused the malfunction. So the software bug causes the reduced performance, Leith charged me again to get the same code to do a software update and are charging 2 hours of labor to do the update (bill was 448.00) Sounds a lot like the iPhone battery performance reduction. The software bug causes the engine performance to be reduced unless you pay 400.00 for the dealer to spent 10 minutes to update the software version. read more

We took our bmw here and explained the symptoms of the car, including that the check engine light came on and went off as well as the car was running hard. The check light was off when we actually dropped off the vehicle...they did figure out their was an issue with the engine (warranty covered issue) and still charged us a diagnostic fee...the dealer was paid for a warranty covered issue and still charged us for the diagnostic; I don't believe I've ever had that happen. Usually if there is a warranty covered issue the diagnostic fee is waived. Our vehicle was also kept 3 additional days longer than it should've and when we picked it up it was filthy, the car should have been washed the day they expect the customer to pick up the car. I was extremely disappointed with the service and when I expressed my concerns to the service manager his response was disappointing as well. It's important that managers at least acknowledge if a customer reports a poor experience that it's acknowledged that's not what the dealership wants for the customer and some type of empathy, even if you can't necessarily change what has happened. We will Not be bringing our vehicles back to this dealership, We will drive to Durham or Cary. Unless I find out that they are affiliated and I'll make sure locate a private repair /mechanic. read more

Talk about stinking service! I went to four lots in one day to look for a car and be at Leith BMW by far provided the worst experience ever. I don't know if it was the way that I looked or the fact that I came in in a Ford focus rental car, but it was clear none of the three people at the front wanted to help me. Salesman puts me in the car to test drive and tells me he'll be back with the plates. When Ma came back he must've not allowed enough time for the gas that he just passed to leave his ass so I was stuck smelling shit for a good two minutes my guess would be that he had hot beans for lunch I think I'll stick with my Infiniti read more

Well i had better hopes from this dealership compared to the other bmw dealer in town specially their sales department. Had put down $1000 deposit to be in queue for the new M2 competition.. when i asked for european delivery they refused cause that means less profit for them.. such a shame that dealers really dont care for long term customer connections over making some more profit.. well i know where my friends and I wont be buying from.. honestly some of the bmw dealers outside NC are really great to work with. I had similar not so great experience with local raleigh dealers the first time I bought my 5 series and 3 series. Now for the service department, if you stay in cary, morrisville dont bother going to this dealership.. apparently they only have one shuttle for pick up and drops and expect customers to figure it out if they cant come pick up.. my car has been in the shop the whole week.. first off i had to call in to find out if it was ready or not on a friday afternoon so that i am not car less over the weekend and on top they say you should have told us you need a pick up before so we could have planned it better. Sorry our 'only' shuttle driver is too busy picking up others for the day. So basically i can wait till Monday or if i want my car today (friday).. i have to go pick it up myself.. btw its a 40 mins drive one way from my home to the dealership.. so much for customer service.. funny how a premium car dealership can be this way :(.. read more

I have read so many of the Leith BMW reviews. The people are correct. I spoke with the maintenance technician about an oil change and possibly correcting a problem with my speed sensors. I was told on the day of the oil change that it would cost approximately $1002 to replace the sensors. I declined on the day in question. I called back the next week and scheduled to have the sensors replaced for the $1002.00. The technician told me it would cost $1600 after 5 days of quoting me 1002.00. This dealership cares nothing about the customer. They only want to rob you. They do not keep their word. I am NEVER going back to Leith BMW. It sucks they're the closest dealership in the area. Their service department is either out of control or incompetent. You expect to pay more at the dealer, but you don't expect them to go off the deep for every issue. Tire / Rotation / Alignment Issue: Our 2012 X5 only has 15k miles on it, yet every time we bring it in they want to do a 4 wheel tire balance, rotation, and alignment. The front wheels definitely has more wear on the outside of the tires than the rest, but needing an alignment every 3k miles is a bit much! It makes me wonder if they're are even rotating the tires OR is there a significant issue with X5s and tire wear. Computer Diagnostic and Service Reset: $57... really!!! To hook up a computer cable and read the screen??? $57... seriously? Blissful Ignorance: The issues I've raised about our X5 with the service advisors (and has been also made on BMW Forums by other X5 owners) the service advisors always say, "I'm not aware of any other customer having that issue." read more

Got my oil and spark plugs changed , they topped my fluids off for free and checked my breaks and tires and suspension also for free and without having to ask. Sent a video of my underbody showing me everything. Couldn't ask for a better mechanic ! read more

I sold my BMW after my experience with Leith. Last year I brought my vehicle to them for an estimate for new tires on a Thursday evening. Even though I called about two days in advanced, they were unable to get me a loaner vehicle. The said it would be at least two weeks until they could arrange that. I dropped the car off and I heard back the next day because my car was due for a brake fluid change. I authorized the work around 10am and that was it... for three days. I called Leith several times over the course of Friday, Saturday and Monday but I was never able to get my representative on the phone. I finally had to borrow a friends car to go pick mine up. When I showed up, they told me that my rep had "been out of the office for a few days." This meant that I was never going to get a call for any of the several things they found "wrong" with my car. They had found about $2,000 worth of issues with my car including a $450 fan belt tensioned. I later brought the car to another mechanic who told me that it was fine. After all of that they still had to find my tire quote which was recorded on another piece of paper. At this point I was clearly angry and when I half jokingly told them that I wanted to sell my car. The head of services, with out skipping a beat, told me they they "probably wouldn't be interested in it." Rather than trying to sit me down with a sales associate, he blew it. I placed a down payment on a Tesla in the parking lot. I still get flyers and emails with my personal information on them from Leith. I've called an emailed them several times to get them to stop. The emails go unanswered and the sales associates 'yes' me off the phone. The worst part is that Leith has a virtual monopoly on vehicle sales in the greater Raleigh area. Don't let them scam you or treat you poorly because they think you don't have another choice read more

I took my car in for a brake check. Sean told me something completely different than the first BMW service department told me three weeks earlier. The first dealerships diagnosis didn't make sense that's why I paid Leith 200 for an over priced diagnostic. The brake job was priced out at roughly 1000. I was going to allow Leith to do the work until Sean told me the 200 dollar diagnostic fee would not be credited to the overall 1000 dollar job. Out of principle, I paid the 200 picked up my car and took it to another shop. I'm still spending close to the same amount but I understand the others that speak of price gouging. I drive a BMW, have for some time now and will, well forever... So I'll admit it, I'm high maintenance... when it comes to my beloved Bimmer. I want what I want, when I want it and I'm ok with that, I paid [$insert hefty sum here$] for my car and with that I purchased the notion, well belief in really, first-rate, exceptional "give me everything I want and nothing I need" service. I want to be treated like a princess (at the dealership, any other time gag me) - I want bottled water, maybe a muffin, and coffee (if I drank it), but above all I want a loaner car, for free... Coming from the land of luxury (cars), California, I had become accustomed to all the aforementioned things and then some: shuttle service, flowers, a little handholding, a birthday card and gifts, lol... Moving to North Carolina was quite the shock to my previous princessed luxury world. Another BMW dealership in NC (won't name them) didn't have loaners or shuttle service for example or recognize the discount importance of my BMW VISA (hello, Life takes Visa) and had me waiting 4 hours + for a 1 hour serivce. Disgrunteled, dejected, and heartbroken and with my car service indicators now resembling a gawdy Christmas tree, I nervously called Leith. I drove the hour to Leith and they got me in right away AND greeted me with a bottle of water. All of my "handlers" were friendly, helpful, and chatty (I like/need chatty). As it turns out, my car had significant issues and needed new tires (I drive like Dale Jr.) - not a one hour appointment. Sacré bleu ! ~ They found me a loaner, a beautiful brand new 328i, forest green with burnt sienna interior that I drove like Danica Patrick all around town for the next day, until my car was ready. My car was ready as promised, checkout was easy and relatively painless (they recognized the discount importance of my BMW VISA), my beloved Bimmer purrs, and most important of all I felt cared for, heck fawned over. Bait & Switch! Read this ladies... I am a single woman and a business owner. I dropped my car off to get serviced. The guy I spoke to said with air quotes 'I'm not just a sales guy telling you to get more services. This is what you need". As we spoke the woman employee sitting 2 feet next to him continued to speak loudly across the guy helping me to another employee. It was so distracting & loud. We had to wait a minute until she was done because I couldn't hear him. I actually felt bad for him. I was told the maintenance would be $2800. I said, wow with my sons graduation & tuition coming up that is alot. The service rep said "Did I say $2800? I meant $2400." I said oh ok but that's still alot for me right now. He then offered to throw in the $120 head lights and also give me an additional $100 coupon! Really? I thought the prices couldn't be changed. I thought about things and decided to look into trading it in and leasing before I paid all of this money for maintenance. I wanted to check my options. I don't know how the car sales really works so I emailed an inquiry to the sales dept and submitted my credit info. I don't want to wast any time by going there. I received a call that everything looked fine so I should come in. Well I live 30 minutes away and don't have much free time. I talked to the sales rep and told him I wanted to be sure that everything would work out because it seemed to good to be true. The short version of my 5 hr experience: I told the sales rep over the phone how much I owed on my car which was alot. We talked about it then we text a bit. In my text I accidentally text the wrong dollar amount by misplacing the decimal point (oops) but it shouldn't matter because we talked about it and he has my credit report. After all this is BMW... they shouldn't rely on a text for anything. At the end of 5 hours I was signing the paperwork when he said "Oh we seem to have a discrepancy. You told me you owed x amount of money but you really owe this amount". I asked if he remembered talking to me about the first figure I gave him on the phone and he said yes. This my friends is bait and switch! He used the text against me but verbally admitted to knowing different. Not to mention my credit report shows what I owe. He offered me the car at double the payment. He never so much as apologized for HIS mistake. I apologized for wasting his time but in reality he already knew the real dollar amount owed on my car. I got my car fixed there but couldn't get out there to pick it up by the time they closed and for 2 weeks it sat there. Can you believe they wouldn't help me what so ever to get my car?! This is BMW! They wouldn't bring it to me or pick me up. Oh and I called about the sales issue but no return call. They never even called me back!!! This is the nice version of the story! I didn't buy so I'm not really worthy of writing a review however I can say that while shopping we were met by a friendly sales associate who did not pressure us to come inside and talk numbers or test drive a car. He simply let us know that he was available if we have any questions or would like to drive anything. I do appreciate that sort of canter from a salesman. We went with a different manufacturer due to the way that BMW depreciates so quickly and the high cost of maintenance outside the warranty period. read more

Service department review here: Seems like all the bad reviews are about the service dept. I've read every one of them, and I couldn't disagree more (who the hell drives 2k miles on a bad clutch or even an iffy clutch?? I drove here from further away and did a full tune-up and timing belt change in my previous car in preparation, and checked my fluids on each stop just to be sure - had no issues. Then to bring your car limping into a place and expect immediate service? What a numbskull). It's a relatively small department that deals with vehicles from all over the place, and we're not exactly coming in with smiles on our faces... I've been here a bunch of times and I've talked to a bunch of the people here and lemme tell you, folks; these are guys are good. Their professionalism is impeccable, and they truly care a great deal about their jobs (i.e. YOUR car). I had to sit in the waiting room for a while (they were booked up, but they still squeezed me in for an alignment after asking me - AMAZING!! - if I was ok with waiting) and while there I heard so many praises and accolades walking out that door it was downright heartwarming. This is the best place I've dealt with by far, and I'm a STAUNCH DIYer. Other places I tried to go were Import Motor Werks (getting an estimate is like pulling teeth and they assume I don't know what I really need so I gotta come in and drop the car off JUST to get an estimate?? Forget it), Performance in CH (no return call or email), and Shadetree Garage (again - no return comm after several attempts). Educate yourself about your car and your problem, and then come here. I just got my 2013 F30 335i delivered in Raleigh area. Here is my experience. This is my first time to plan to own a new car, 335i is an affordable dream car for me. I send out several emails for quote, Leith BMW are very responsive. David Malette@LeithBMW gave me an over one hour tour and test drive, and more important a very good deal. After only two meetings with David, I decide to sign the contact to order the car. Two more things I need to mention in buying the car. 1. My incentive will expire in two months and the order from South Africa is usually slower than the order from Germany. Leith BMW order my car from South Africa, it takes 10 weeks to delivered to dealer instead of 6-8 weeks. But as promised, David Malette still helped me to get the incentive though it pass 2 months already. 2. I have a issue with my driver license because the immigration statues is in the middle of something. At a time, I even thought I cannot get the car anyhow. But David Malette shows great patience till I get the license. read more

We had not owned a diesel car since a Volvo wagon, some time in the last century. We'd sworn off diesel because that car smelled bad, had no acceleration, and sounded like a tractor. That's changed now, thanks to our Leith BMW client advisor, Barry Frucht. We bought a car in January and part of our deal was for Leith to pay off my old car payments. By the time march came around, we still hadn't received the check. When I called, I spoke with the finance manager Juan and he was incredibly rude. He barely let me finish a sentence (and I was not irate or upset at all at this point) and interrupted with a nasty tone. He said he would call me back and he never did. 2 weeks of me trying to get in touch with my sales person, our finance officer and Juan with no luck. Finally I got him on the phone again and he acted like he didn't know who I was. I can't believe we bought a BMW and were treated like we bought a used Kia. I love my car, but will never, ever buy a car from this dealership again. read more

My wife and I just purchased a 2013 335i, and we love it. We went with Leith because it was close to our home. We are vary please with the purchase, and the process. Our sales person was Terry Hutchinson and he is what made the process so good. I will say I have purchased 3 BMW's in the past from other dealers, and this one took the longest to get delivery. One time we purchased a new BMW in an hour, and we were on the road. No big deal, but we were excited to drive it and start our day.. I drive from Fayetteville even though there is a BMW dealership in town. Leith is very accommodating. I dropped my car off for a recall. The person who made the appt told me it would take 2 hours to complete. So we decided to get a ride to the mall, with my 4 year old. When i got there the associate informed me that his colleague was wrong but that they could put me in a loaner no problem. It worked out perfectly. October 14, 2019 I had a service appointment for my 650 I BMW grand coupe. It was my first time bringing in my vehicle for a service repair at this location. I worked with a member of the service Department by the name of Shawn, Hopefully I'm spelling his name correctly. Initially when I came in the service center, all was good with the greeters at the door. I was introduced to Shawn and he began to go over with me repairs needed for my vehicle, explaining to me that there would be $155 diagnostic fee per claim if my warranty does not cover it and I had two claims. I quickly Let Shawn know that I did not want to do one of the claims because I was on a budget and I would only go with the one needed and no other repairs. Shawn Then Pulled out a sheet with the several items that my vehicle needed, Oil change, Brake fluid, Ect. I told Shawn I did not want any repairs done he said OK please sign that I reviewed these items with you. I signed and Shawn Said that he would call me before any repairs were done and to let me know if my warranty company would pay. Needless to say, Shon did not call me until it was time to pick my car up. I asked what was the balance I need it to bring for repairs, which I was prepared for the 155 diagnostic fee. Shawn didn't tell me it would be $655, I immediately became upset reminding him of our conversation that I did not request this and you said you would call first. His response was you signed up for these items to be repaired and did not address anything else. The service manager came and I felt he took Shawn word saying he has never had any issues before and wanted me to pay. after 3 hours, he said ok pay half the balance which I refused because this was not my wrong doing. A nice African American gentleman from the sales department who was apart of my car sale intervened and helped me out, but I was tricked by Shawn and want this to be on record that he has had this issue happen and probably more than once! I have a 2016 X5 that I bought at Leith BMW, I brought it in for routine service, plus rotation and balance. I also had a noise of something rolling around in the center console. A couple hours later I got a call from the service advisor that I had a screw in my tire and they needed to replace the tire for $308. Also the noise I was hearing was probably not covered under warranty so that would be 3 hours of labor at $150 a hour. I declined both services. Once I got the vehicle home I pulled of the tire in question and they had removed the screw and marked it. It was in the side of the tread and never penetrated the tire, not to mention I researched it and the tire was available for purchase a $100 cheaper. I sprayed it with soapy water and watched for bubbles, nothing. No tire needed. So on the noise in the console. They said they needed to pull out the entire console and it probably wouldn't be covered by warranty ($450 plus any parts). I once again did research, comes to find out that this is a common problem. And with a common problem, people have figured it out. I was able to remove the dime that was rolling back an forth in about 40 minutes. If I now know this, why would it take a professional 3 hours? The first BMW dealership I walked into as an adult looking to purchase a car was actually Performance BMW in Chapel Hill. This was about 10 years ago. My experience with them was extremely distasteful, they were rude, made offhand comments among themselves about their perceived notions that I lacked the finances to purchase a vehicle from them, and as much as I hate to pull the racism card, I've lived in the South for 20 years, and I'm familiar with it. To this date I've never stepped back in that dealership, or any Performance Brand dealer. After my experience there, I walked into Leith BMW. Completely. Different. Experience. I think the first guy I purchased from was Pat Shiel and since then I've purchased from Patrick Beach. These guys are experts, they don't make assumptions about their buyers, they don't push, they don't prod, and they make the buying experience worthwhile. I know exactly what to expect when I buy from these guys and it's why I will always continue to come back. Service has consistently been 5 stars, I've seen some negative remarks from folks and I'm sure they are one off cases or missing a fair amount of context or detail. I've been here for over a dozen service visits and my only gripe is their executive loaner fleet leaves something to be desired. The quality of service, their efforts at communication, and their willingness to make your experience comfortable are unparalleled. Update 12/26/2017: Purchased yet another vehicle from these guys, this time I worked with David Malette. What you see is what you get sales process, no hidden nonsense, no going back and forth, just the right deal off the line to get metal moving, and the right level of personal service for someone who comes in purchasing a high end luxury vehicle. I was put in touch with Leith BMW by USAA. I was shopping for a 2018 M4 and spoke to both the sales manager and the internet sales manager. They would not budge off of MSRP aside from a manufacturer's rebate that I received through USAA (this costs Leith nothing). I called up both Performance BMW in Chapel Hill and Valley BMW in Fayetteville. Both were responsive and negotiable on prices...Valley offered to pick me up in Raleigh and drive me to their Fayetteville location when the car arrives. Leith basically believes that the average Raleigh BMW customer is either too lazy to price around, or possibly ignorant?? Either way, I would HIGHLY recommend shopping the other 2 dealers on M models unless you like getting heisted for full MSRP. I settled with Valley BMW and am having the car delivered to Greenville Performance Center. Do yourself a big favor and at least call the other BMW dealers in the area. Have had my M4 for almost a year now. Leith BMW Service is a metric ton better at customer service and responsiveness. The Sales Manager should do an apprenticeship for a week with the Service manager. Buy your BMW in Fayetteville and then get it serviced here. read more

BMW We are beyond impressed with Leith BMW and especially their salesman Jake! We were talking about buying a car for a long time. We wanted to splurge and buy something nice. My husband needed a car for work and he wanted something elegant. We had 3 car makers in mind.... the Jaguar, BMW and Mercedes Benz. Well, we didn't even make it to Jaguar because we were happy how the sales people were at Leith. We were thinking about getting a Mercedes and pretty much made our minds up that it was going to be Mercedes. Well, we changed our minds and bought a BMW. Not only did we buy one BMW, we bought two. The reason why we changed our minds is because of their top notch salesman named Jake. This young man wasn't pushy at all. Made us feel more than comfortable with the test drives and answering any and all questions we had. When my husband bought his black X4, Jake went beyond the call of duty to provide impeccable customer service and followed through with his superb service afterwards as well. Well, that's when we decided we were going to buy another car from him. I wanted a Cayman Porsche, used or new, I didn't care, I just wanted one. My mom needed a car too so we went back and decided to get the 428i Grand Coupe for my mom. We would never have bought another car right after buying a new car if it wasn't for Jake's impeccable customer service. Last year my hubby bought me a Jeep after owning a Chevy Suburban. I only wish we went to Leith BMW instead of Jeep that day and I could be in a BMW also. After replacing the airbag on my BMW from the nationwide recall, the red airbag warning light came on ~1 mile down the road leaving the dealership. I requested Leith to repair whatever they broke on the car since they clearly did something to the airbag when replacing it, but they refuse to acknowledge responsibility and do not return calls. Stay away from this dealership at all cost! read more

A 3rd party company couldn't fix my car after breaking it so they said take it to dealer and we will pick up tab, once work was done local branch of company informed me we need to send this to corporate. We have no idea if it will be paid today. Mark the Service manager took the time to not only call local site but get corporate phone numbers and get paid on the spot. I thought I was going to have to wait around all day just for the payment and if it didn't came thru pay it out of my pocket. From cashier to Service team I was treated great. Do NOT take your vehicle here for service! I brought my X5 here for what was obviously a rear air suspension bag leak (bag was fully inflated and the car was level when the ignition was on, but the rear sagged once the car was turned off). After Leith BMW evaluated my car, Jermaine, our service advisor, assured me that the bag was fine, but the compressor unit was bad. This made no sense as "something" was inflating the bag once the vehicle was started, but Jermaine was adamant so I agreed to the expensive repair. Once the compressor unit was replaced, I received another call from Jermaine to let me know that the bag was in fact leaking. I truly believe that the compressor was replaced unnecessarily. Fast forward several weeks and we took our X5 to another import mechanic for routine maintenance. While we were there, they alerted us that the new suspension bag that was placed was the wrong one, was rubbing against the frame, and it was only a matter of time before the bag would burst from the wear. Leigh's response was that they warranty their work for 2 years and we could bring it in for them to fix the issue. Great, so if you have work done by them and are lucky enough to discover it was done in a faulty manner, you can take it back to them and trust that they will fix it right. No thank you! The only reason we take our BMW to the dealer for more major repairs (that other mechanics would fix for a fraction of the cost) is so we can have the security of knowing the repairs will be done to specifications and with the correct OEM parts. Obviously that is not a guarantee at Leith BMW. Save your money and go elsewhere, they likely will actually be taking better care of your vehicle. read more

This review reflects my experience with the car sales guy that I dealt with at Leith BMW. It may not reflect the entire dealership but the fact that they allow him to behave the way he did says a lot about the dealership. From the moment I showed up to the dealership, he had an attitude. He passed judgement before I even said hello. He looked at me up and down (even moving his head not just eyes). In his mind I was this: too young (very wrong, I just look much much younger, I'm actually in my 40's), too poor (wrong, I was buying the car in cash b/c I never buy things I can't afford; I buy a car not a car loan), too female ("is your husband joining you?" - seriously dude?), too "not going to really buy a BMW" (wrong, I came with research done, ready to buy if he showed me the right car for a fair price). He said "hello" with no enthusiasm what so ever and rudely put up his pointing finger up gesturing "hold on" to look around if anyone else can help me. It was obvious that he simply did not want to waste his time on me. Eventually the short conversation lead to him offering a 2013 model BMW (I was looking at a 2014 model), he told me it was a great deal. Sounded like a fair options, so I said I will test drive it. He then went off somewhere to prep, then came back saying "oh, I forgot, before we test drive, I need to ask this - will you be financing or leasing??". First, how is that relevant to my interest in test driving the car? Second, I shot him a disgusted look and answered "Neither, I'm buying". To that he looked shocked. During the test drive he was just a typical sales guy trying to sell sell sell. Nothing rude or unprofessional. I left the dealership with a *real* interest in buying the car I test drove despite the fact that I was really annoyed with the sales guy. After that, he never reached out to me to follow up. I had to reach out to him via email to ask questions and negotiate the price. His email correspondences were so unprofessional. I couldn't believe how bad it was. Doesn't BMW dealerships hire someone who can at least write in a professional manner? The emails also had an attitude, and he was "telling me" things rudely. That was it. I couldn't stand the thought of giving him the sale. No way. Even if I like the car, there is no way I'm giving this guy the sale. That's when I reached back out to the sales person I purchased my last car. She made the whole car buying experience so pleasant, comfortable, and she was downright competent when I bought my last car. From the moment I reached back out, she was exactly that again. What a night and day experience comparing my Leith BMW experience to Crossroads South Infiniti experience. Night and day. She (Julie) *listened* to my needs, understood what *I* liked, and suggested a car I hadn't even considered. I bought that car. Which btw, ended up being quite a bit more expensive (and better) than the BMW I was seriously considering buying. What I'm trying to say here is that when I buy a car, I'm not just buying the car. I'm buying the car and the purchase experience along with the service I will get as I get the car maintained in the future. Oh, and btw, the BMW sales guy emailed me twice after I bought my Infiniti trying to sell the BMW. Too late buddy. I ignored the emails. read more

Don't know about sales but I know about service. Come here if you want be treated like you own a Scion. I came in without an appointment because it was an emergency. My clutch was toast after i drove 2000 miles over the weekend from Denver and I barely made it to Raleigh. The clutch on my 335i is slipping very badly at this point. All the service advisors were not helpful and especially Heather Drake. She had a poor attitude, awful manners, and treated my situation like it was bothersome to her. I CAN BARELY DRIVE MY CAR AND IT IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY. "I can't do anything until next week." "I don't think you understand the urgency here, the car is barely driveable. Can you put me in a loaner?" "No." "Ok... Will my car be ok to drive until then?" "I don't know. I'm not the one driving the car but probably not." She then turns and starts looking at her computer monitor. She makes zero effort to come up with any alternative solutions. What poor language to someone who is a BMW enthusiast and BMW CCA member. More importantly- to anyone who drives a bimmer. I immediately left and went to Performance BMW in Chapel Hill. They took my 335i that day and put me in a rental. Will replace the clutch under warranty. Poor team reflection of poor management. Poor management equals I will never step foot in your establishment again. LEITH BMW STEP UP YOUR SERVICE GAME.
