They walked us through all the new options that were available to us now, and explained the advantages, and disadvantages to us clearly. We love our LED lights so much that we added them in our master bedroom, and bathroom. They were never pushy or tied up with others. When you were with them they stayed with you and made you feel like you were the only customer. They know their stuff! We also put in all new screw less plates over our plugs and switches, that is a great clean look I highly recommend. We even bought new lamps from them for our bedroom. We will always use them for our lighting needs. Great company, great employees!

We built with MJC and had to go to Pine Tree to select the lighting for our entire house. Brad was…read morerude and impatient during the process, but we didn't have much choice in the matter so we got through the appointment and moved on. The light fixtures look fine but they all have different sized LED bulbs, many of which have burnt out ridiculously fast (starting just a few months after install and continuing every month or so until now a couple years later). It's been a giant pain to find matching bulbs and replace them constantly, not to mention the additional cost of so many bulbs. We also had a can light go out and they came out to replace it, which was appreciated, except they put a different size up which left a ring visible around the outside of it - when I pointed it out, he just shrugged it off. The icing on the cake of problems was the coach lights we initially ordered for the garage. The style coach light we chose covered our address block, despite them coming to the house for a walkthrough to re-familiarize themselves with the layout before the light selection appointment. Accidents happen, but we were then forced to spend even more money on alternate lights to rectify the problem they should have prevented and guided us through. I would never recommend this company to anyone ever.

I called them just now and talked to Sara K. She was very friendly and seemed to know everything about their business and was the perfect person to talk to. I confirmed with her that Pine Tree was indeed the supplier, she looked up my sub and lot number and could see the exact fixtures I ordered. I sent her a photo of the light and confirmed we were talking about the same light. She is ordering a replacement glass from *their* supplier for me free of charge, shipped to my house. I connected with Pine Tree, got through immediately to the right person, explained my situation, got it resolved satisfactorily all in less than 30 minutes. I haven't been here in a while but wanted to find some replacement fixtures for our kitchen over the sink. When I went to the entrance I found the doors locked and a sign that said "By Appointment Only" and a phone number. So I called and was told that they had no appointments available today. I had driven 20 minutes to get there. They are located much closer for me than the lighting place that did all of our original fixtures. But as a customer I value convenience. I decided to drive the extra seven miles to the original place where I walked in, explained what I was looking for, reviewed some options, placed the order, made a deposit, and was on my way in about 20 minutes. From previous experience with Great Lakes, once you do get inside, they are helpful and had good selection and prices. But I just wanted to find, buy, and go home, not make an appointment.
