I waited until around 5 days post facial to write this review…read more --First, I got very lucky with my timing b/c I asked for a facial literally right after she had a cancellation so I got in next day. But otherwise, expect to book 4-6 weeks out. --Follow her easy to understand email instructions to confirm your appointment by text, and also show up 10 mins early to appointment. That's not too much to ask. --I am 40 and have never had a facial before so I don't have anything to compare this to. --I was surprised by how fun this experience was. Really pleasant and entertaining conversation. I felt like I made a real friend. --Viktoria asks some prelim questions about products you use and medicines you take. You change into a towel robe and the facial begins. I arrived at 3:50 and walked out at 5:30. --The extractions weren't that bad but the whole time I kept thinking how blotchy and red my face was going to look. But guess what? It was not blotchy or red at all! No redness whatsoever. She must be magic. --She did steam, extractions, a mask, infrared light, some other electric thing, moisturizer, massaged my head and shoulders, it was all really nice. Cost with tip was less than $100. --It doesn't matter if you go in wearing makeup or not. --Don't plan any workouts post facial- nothing where you'll sweat afterwards. --I have had no breakouts, no peeling, no negative after effects from the facial. My skin looks great. Even my husband said I looked younger. --There was no pressure to come back at any given interval, but I will plan to go every 6 weeks or so. I already booked my return appointment. --I can't think of anything negative to say. Viktoria is really wonderful. The only possible downside I can think of is that due to location, you're not getting the nice spa atmosphere, but it would cost twice the amount at a fancy spa and you'd likely not get anyone as well trained and experienced as Viktoria, so I really recommend Viktoria for a high quality facial at reasonable price.

I am originally from California so I've been receiving treatment from Face Reality's headquarters but from 2014-2015 I lived in Dallas. During my brief year in Texas, my skin was severely dry and breaking out like crazy. I tried using all kind of moisturizing cream but I just couldn't get my skin to hydrate enough. I did some research from the Face Reality site to see if I could find an esthetician in Texas so I could continue my routine. Luckily, Nancy's office was somewhat close by and she also had been trained by Laura so I was super happy to see her to help me with my skin. At this time I was near Farmer's Branch so the drive to Frisco was lengthy but worth it (in my opinion). Nancy was thoughtful and listened to my struggles with the dry weather and acne. She provided the same treatments that I had at Face Reality's headquarters and she also carried many Face Reality products as well! I was so happy I would be able to pick up products instead of having to wait for them to ship to my apartment. My skin improved immediately as soon as I started getting the chemical peels and extractions. I was so used to thorough extractions from the California office that I was surprised how quick and painless my extractions were with Nancy (or maybe I just didn't have many pimples!). Expect the appointment to be around 30 mins total. Of course this could be longer depending on the severity of your acne. Her office is in a small plaza with a small parking lot. The times I've gone for appointments, I was always able to find parking but if the lot is full, there' street parking since the surrounding area is in a residential area. Overall, if you are suffering from acne and dryness, I'd recommend to at least get a consultation with Nancy. Face Reality has helped (and is continuing to help) me with my adult acne, and you won't be sorry because the products and routine really does work!! :) Thank you Nancy!

Nancy validated all of my concerns and actively listened when I told her about my struggles with acne. She doesn't just give you a skincare plan (anyone can do that). She gives you diet and lifestyle changes to consider and also gives you lists of ingredients to avoid in your hair, skin, and home products and in your food! I thought I was very conscious about my products and my diet, and then she politely steered me in a better direction. If you're looking for alternatives to anything, she can help you find them AND they will all be acne safe! In addition, if you have sensitive skin, she's your best bet. My skin is VERY sensitive and I have reactions to nearly everything! She tested different products on me and found a routine that was safe for my sensitive skin and even helped me toughen my skin up so it's not as reactive as it once was. Trust the process! Take lots of pictures! Your skin will slowly but surely start to improve. It has been a night and day difference for me and I've only been seeing her for 7 weeks! I've been getting lash extensions for the past 2 years now and wow did I downgrade by going here. Firstly, I tried 3 different lash artists here and not one did half a decent job as my previous lash tech did. My appointments were never on time and at that they NEVER took the amount of time as needed/paid for and cut my appointment short while doing a crappy job at it (45 mins at most). I gave them the exact lash measurements that my previous lash tech used on me and they did not follow it. Also when removing my extensions during fills the process was painful! Below is a picture of my lashes after my 1 week fill. I was visiting my previous lash tech in Austin and she was so upset that they left me like this and fixed me up right away removing all their work and starting from scratch!! I was pretty amazed at the artistry involved in this process and the fact that the lashes are not mink was really important to me as well. I have never had to wait and value the fact that these ladies especially have a strong work ethic. In spite of a tornado in the area the night before, a 7am appointment was honored. I have visited this lash studio at various times of the day and can honestly say that this is the way they do things. I have never seen customers kept waiting or rushed out the door - and it's been busy! I love my lashes, and to keep them on point, I do 2 weekly fills because I am very active and rub my eyes. The adhesive they use is efficient (I wash my face every single day, twice a day, religiously) and the adhesive is also gentle at the same time. The lashes hardly tangle or clump and they really are a "get up and go" low maintenance product that is always on point. At $40 (plus tip) for eyebrow threading, it's definitely on the expensive side, but I was willing to invest if it meant finding someone I could trust with my brows. Unfortunately, after nearly a year of appointments, I never left feeling happy with my eyebrows. From the beginning, I was told that the only way to achieve a nice shape was to let my eyebrows grow in significantly. I personally prefer a more groomed look rather than fuller brows, but I trusted her expertise and wanted to see her vision through. Between appointments, I only cleaned up the middle of my brows at home and left the rest alone. Occasionally, if I had an event to attend, I would tweeze a few stray hairs that had already been threaded previously. At almost every appointment, I was told my eyebrows weren't improving because I was removing hair. The problem is, after almost a year of following her advice, the areas she continually pointed out still never grew in. My hair simply does not grow there. Instead of working with the natural growth I have, I felt like I was repeatedly blamed for something that wasn't within my control. The comment that ultimately made me decide not to return happened during my last visit. When she told me my eyebrow hair wasn't growing, I asked which areas she meant. Her response was, "Everywhere." I found that incredibly discouraging and unprofessional, especially as someone who had consistently supported her business, trusted her process, and paid premium pricing every visit. I also experienced appointments starting late because phone calls were being finished before clients were seen. I tried to be understanding because I know life happens, and I know she's experienced significant life changes. I genuinely wanted to continue supporting her business and gave plenty of grace throughout the year. Ultimately, I decided to try another brow artist at a much lower price point, and I finally walked out with the eyebrow shape I had been hoping for all along. I can absolutely see why Nikki has loyal clients, and I don't doubt that her style works well for many people. However, my experience was that her approach felt very one-size-fits-all. Rather than working with the eyebrows I naturally have, I felt like I was being judged against the eyebrows she wished I had. I believe a great brow artist should be able to adapt their technique to each client's natural growth and desired look. I truly wanted this experience to work out, which makes this review disappointing to write. Unfortunately, after nearly a year of giving it every chance, I simply wasn't satisfied with either the results or the way I was made to feel as a client.
