This establishment is THE. BEST. EVER. I hardly ever leave reviews but feel its a must. I have visited multiple times on various occasions. Birthday, Valentines Day, just an ordinary day.. the staff is consistent and the services are always spectacular. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a very attentive and welcoming staff who will offer you a beverage of choice. I highly recommend a cocktail ( they make a great Mai Thai ) while you are getting pampered in the beautiful and relaxing environment. Feel free to take inspiration pics with you. First time here, I called to make an appointment and was told I wouldn't need one. Got here and waited 45 minutes. Asked for a color change because the polish did not go on good (it was dried up) and the girl said it would be 15 minutes and she left and told no one I wanted a color change. 45 minutes later one of the managers came and did it. No apology or anything. Do not recommend. Also 2 other people came in and were told there was an hour wait and said they called and the girl said no wait and no appointment needed. read more

Love all the staff but the manager said I couldn't get two nails fixed without a fill in the weekend of my birthday. I was there 7 days ago and spent well over $100. I was also getting another pedicure and facial waxing. Bill today would have $75. Not enough better upcharge $25 to fix two nails that were not done correctly in the first place. I tip 20% every time. Today I still left 15% but do not go here. Save yourself from the poor customer service and savage up charges. read more

This was the worst nail experience I have ever had. The people had no clue what they were doing, they didn't even rub in my lotion and barely shaped my nails. I guess when it's busy, false nail removal is the last priority. My daughter had her nails in a bowl with nail polish remover soaking for 25 minutes. I had to go to the counter to see if anyone was helping her. Not the best experience. read more

This place has gone downhill. Went in for dip removal and a manicure. 2 people walked in wanting something more expensive than what I was getting while she was just starting to take off the dip. They pulled the nail tech to do the more expensive service and left me sitting with acetone on my nails for over 15 minutes!!! (I started a time after a few minutes of waiting). Once I started removing the acetone soaked cotton myself they finally hurried someone over to me. At that point I was uninterested in getting the manicure. They then charged me DOUBLE the listed price because I wasn't getting the manicure now. I'm so disappointed in this place because I liked them the first few times I came here. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. I gave this place one more chance and went in with my daughter today. We got the EXACT SAME French manicure dips. They were done with the exact same procedures. They charged her $5 more than they charged me and when I asked why, they literally said, "because she's younger and hers is more stylized." Nope! Again, SAME PROCEDURE, SAME French manicure. Check out the picture below of both of our hands and see if you can spot the difference. They refused to back down and they're clearly in the wrong. My first time here and I had a good experience. I went because they open at 9:30 and I needed to be done as early as possible. I had a few designs ready since I didn't have an appointment and wasn't sure what they could do, but my girl said she could do the first one I showed her! I'm not picky and don't get my nails done often, but I feel like she did a great job! And was nice. Made an appointment for a pedi and a dip polish. My nails were growing out longer and I was finally able to get a French style with a color tip. Told the woman that a few of my nails were shorter than others and might need to be re-tipped. She proceeded to cut off all my nails at an alarming fast pace claiming she was going to tip them all. Not what I asked for. Ended up getting a bland pink color dip polish- (I was flustered and couldn't figure out what else to do) and a sub par pedicure. Thank goodness they were still running a discount due to recently being opened because I would have been furious if I had to pay full price. Don't know that I will be back here. read more

Hands down THE BEST mani/pedi I have ever gotten (and I'm incredibly picky when it comes to getting my nails done). Not only was the salon extremely clean it was well run and reasonable priced (especially for the high quality of service you receive). They are way too pushy on Dip Powder. Once you say no, they continue to push you into a higher cost $20 more for your services. The last time, the short Lady who runs the nail bar, continued to make me feel uncomfortable. Then she walked away laughing & speaking to other employees in their language. Ok so I have been to lemon drop several times. I have absolutely loved it everytime until today. While I like the work that was done the lack of communication about add on charges is wrong. I am finding that a recurring theme these days. I got dip nails as usual. I decided on ombré which of course is extra. Didn't mind that but as soon as I mentioned not minding extra for the ombré I all of the sudden got told I was going to pay extra for the shape of my nails. Ummmmm what????? I am paying for you to cut my nails and file them??? When did that become a charge. That's kind of a given when getting nails done. Soooo I mentioned this to some friends that were customers there as well, and the same thing. Taking business else where along with them bc you should be up front about chargers before you do the work so the customer has a chance to say yes or no. Got charged 10 extra dollars for her to cut and file my nails. read more

First time here. Brought my granddaughter to get a gel manicure. The front desk lady sat her down after telling us there was no wait time, but it wasn't until I asked her if anybody was going to do her nails 20 minutes later. I am no different, I had a great experience at lemon drop today until I noticed just one of my nails just looked off. I chose the French look so ladies you know that if the pink is off. Like there was not enough of it. In normal circumstances I would have just not worried about it but it really was off. I tried to explain and I know it sometimes can be difficult to explain small things like that so I just said I really don't like this one nail, can you fix it. I was met with arguments, how every nail is different! I know this however my last experience there last month same kind of nails was perfect, that's why I went back today. One lady that I assume was a manger said I was being to picky.... . Ok wait maybe so but you should NEVER say that to customer especially one who goes in frequently. After I made it clear I was dissatisfied and clearly mentioned that if it didn't get fixed I would it ever come back. (I know lots of you will say they won't care, probably so, but not the point) they did fix it and I was a happy girl again ....... Until I learned that they charged me 5$ more to fix the one nail that was messed up by the nail tech in the first place!! so basically I had to fight to fix it and it cost me to fight for what I wanted. I had read a good review on this place and decided to give it a try. I filled the form for the desired services and selected the nail polish color. The girl at the front desk did very poorly tending to me, especially since she kept sending incoming customers to sit down while I tried to get her attention waiting to be seated. By the time she decided to tend to me, she told me I needed to wait 25 minutes: she had taken in several people including a party of 4- a mom and 3 girls, all this while I waited to get her attention. Logically, she wanted to get as much business as possible but not at the expense of making me wait, especially when I had gotten there before these other customers. Way overpriced ($75+) nails don't last a week and they make them look gown out and thick so you're back there within 2 weeks, my final and last incident had my nails full of bumps and chips before I'd even left the salon. My cuticles were all bleeding. The art work looked like a toddler did it and then it peeled away 2 days and $25 later. If you ask for matte nails they can't do them right and they just look a mess. i don't normally write reviews... but this place is WONDERFUL! the staff is so friendly and professional. i had tom today doing my nails, and he did a phenomenal job. he really made sure the design and shape was exactly what i wanted. he took his time and wasn't trying to rush through my nails. i've always been hesitant to get designs because at other salons, they've been super quick and the design comes out uneven and not what i wanted. however, this salon is different. highly HIGHLY recommend!!! read more

Well, another shoddy place to get your nails done. Wife has been here twice. First time was great, nails lasted more than a month. Second time, the nails were thin and started cracking after 2 days, at 2 weeks they finally broke off. Called the salon, and was told they were under new management and would have to call back. Odd, they've only been open about 4 months, sounds like a red flag. Finally called her back and basically said she was SOL, it's been more than 7 days. I would avoid this place if you want a good nails. This shop definitely doesn't care about repeat business. read more

I went once bc a friend recommended them. Angela was so professional! She did my dip nails with a simple thin red tip design. She was very meticulous and kept asking me if I liked them. She made sure every nail was the exact same length and shape, and she was easy to work with when I asked her to fix something. She also made a point to file down the base of the nail so that it was smooth by the cuticle, and she didn't hurt my cuticles or anything. The red gel tip was $10 and the length and shape was $10. Overall my nails were $60 but they had the 15% off grand opening discount. I believe they have a student discount as well once they end the grand opening sale. I was very satisfied with my service. However, I did make an appointment and wait for about 15 minutes after the time for my service to start, but they were very busy and helped me as soon as they could. They also stayed past their closing time to finish my set. It's a bit of a drive for me, but I will be coming back. read more

Yea this place is a scam and a robbery, they nickel and dime for a lot of things normal salons don't do like removing the polish you came in with... I'm sorry but that's part of the prep they are obligated to do to begin with. It is way overpriced and they don't even do some of the things that are mentioned on their menu for the service you request. My friend got the pedicure that is next up from the basic and I got the $78 dollar most expensive pedi that is supposed to last an hour and 10 minutes; they started on my friend before me and we were finished almost at the same time... also I have never heard of a place charging an extra $20 for GEL POLISH, maybe $10 but $20... save your money and go to Champions Nail Spa in Rowlett, you will get so much more for the same or less than here.
