Have you ever tried to fit one more sweater into your suitcase, even though the suitcase won't zip close? What do you do? Push on it really hard and then quickly zip the bag. This is the best way I can describe the ridiculous "massage" I received at Lemon Tree Massage. The entire time, all the "therapist" did was push on my back and legs. She never once moved her finger tips. My husband could have done a better job while watching the Super Bowl. Yes, it was that bad. The woman attempting my "massage" was also extremely unprofessional and wore headphones during the "massage". I guess it was imperative that she listen to a soap opera (I'm guessing--the dialogue was in another language) the entire time she pushed on me. It was so loud, I could hear all of it. After 20 minutes, I pretended I had to go to the bathroom, got dressed and walked out. I should also mention some other lovely details. You have to pre-pay. They charge a $2 fee for using your credit card. They have aggressive signs everywhere telling you to tip as much 50% for your massage. There are tons of better places to spend your money. Ohhhh sooo good we always have the couple massage I had Coco & my wife had Kevin, my wife will always ask for Kevin he does the deep tissue massage & she absolutely loves it on the other hand I have the swedish coz my body can't take too much pressure! we've been coming here at least 4 times & we both love it, it takes us 45 mins to get here but it's worth it, the only downside is the trip back home we are so relaxed we just wanna fall asleep . I was left speechless. Well not exactly. All I could do after my massage was laugh. There were a few times I almost called it quits during the service. The review below hit it perfectly - imagine you're packing for a trip and the suitcase is too full, you're trying to close it so you can zip it up, putting all your pressure on it to squish it closed. That is what they do to you here and not in a good way. My Fiancé and I went in for a couples massage. They upsold the massage and it ended up being more than I was quoted when I called.. fine. Also a fee to do a credit card. There was 0 conversation about concerns, requests, pressure. Nothing. Started the massage with rubbing you through a sheet, sitting on you, pushing down on you. It was SO STRANGE. I was trying so hard to not laugh. I was also extremely uncomfortable as my massage person was a male. He was also clearly sick. He kept coughing and sniffing the entire time AND he was breathing so heavy. Hardly relaxing. The walls are paper thin. You can hear the washing machine beeping, you can hear the toilet flushing, you can hear the person in the room next to you. I understand it was dinner time but the whole place smelled like food. Should have turned around the moment we walked in. They gave my Fiancé a knot in his back that he didn't have before walking in there. To top it off, I'm not tipping for that atrocious service. The front desk lady tried to force us and then proceeded to grab my cell phone number from the booking AND TEXT ME about not tipping. We will NOT be returning. Lemon Tree massage is my new go-to for massage. The facility is clean, the therapy rooms are private, linens are fresh, and the atmosphere couldn't be more relaxing. I have enjoyed several massages over the past few months, and never had an unpleasant massage as "Jimmie from WA" suggests. Looking at his ratings profile, you can see the only thing he does like is Olive Garden?? Go figure! I have introduced a few friends to Lemon Tree so far, and they all gave me rave reviews about this place. The back walking, essential oils, and hot rocks take this place up a notch over all other massage places. Book one therapy session to see if this Scottsdale native got it right, or if you agree with Jimmie from Kirkland, WA. I really don't know how we can be so far apart in our opinion?? read more

New massage therapy place in North Scottsdale - setup was front desk with individual therapy rooms. Low lighting and soft music. Linens and tables felt comfortable and new. Stopped in based upon 60min therapy special at $49.99. Emily the owner/therapist was very professional. I asked for deep tissue massage and she incorporated a combination of hands, elbows and standing with feet (like Thai massage). You can strip to your comfort level and request modesty (I was in my underwear), but they do intend to work on glutes so make sure you speak up. The massage was very firm and Emily incorporated hot stones. One of the better massages I've had to loosen old joints. I will return. read more

COCOA is SIMPLY amazing and kind and she actually listens to the areas you want focused on where as many massage therapists do not listen and they do what they want to do and what THEY think you need which is always so frustrating but Cocoa listens and does not act agitated or annoyed when you ask her where to go and how hard to do she is more than happy to do exactly what you desire !!! She uses the Perfect pressure which is very deep for me in all the right spots and I got goosebumps several times which doesn't happen often for me but the massage she gives is just that amazing ! I don't give good reviews often because well most of my experiences don't deserve them but this girl deserves it so here it is. I will go back every week from here on out. She helped my hands and my jaw so much cuz they bother me all the time. She was the BEST !!!!!!
