    Cat sleeping in pumpkin patch
    Alex V.

Cute and fun but very pricey. I came with my family during the month of September where you get a discount but its only a few dollars ($3 off childs admission and $2 off adult admission) It was still crowded because we came on a weekend but we thought we'd beat the october rush. It was cute but so small for the cost. We finished everything very quickly, train ride had the longest line but it moved fast because they were operating 3 at a time. We love the pumpkin options. The haunted house can be done with the lights turned on for toddlers or small kids. The goats were adorable but they try to chew everything, including hair and clothes. My son wanted to try mini donuts but they had already sold out by 10:45am. We like the balloons at the face painting booth but they are pre-made but we had to wait for all the faces to be painted to get pur balloon because it was all being done by one person.

Such a cute place. Went here for a kids birthday party. The location was absolutely beautiful nestled in the hills. There were vumping cars, goats, horse rides, a train, haunted house and a hay ride. I have heard its even better during halloween time with a pumpkin patch. Adults can get bored after an hour or so but its perfect for kids and parties.

My kid kept asking about this place even though it had been months since we went. In mid January for their reopening, it was much quieter than it wad during fall rush. Though we still paid close to $60 for admission, now we had more time and space to have him ride ponies three times, hay ride, and train. Though they still need to update their caricatures on the train trail, my train obsessed kid was loving it. During the off season they also let you (adult) take the pony around 3 times with your kid. My kid was a fan of this, too. It doesn't look as pretty as it does with all the pumpkins, but I loved how there were not a lot of people so we got to enjoy everything more, including petting all the goats. The staff are super friendly and we found that showing up at 10 am when they open is the best!

I highly recommend at least experiencing this place once. There's plenty to do for the kids from pony rides, playground, inflatable slide, haunted house, corn maze, goat feeds, and much more. I was surprised that they had clean restrooms (not portable), definitely a plus. I will have to disagree with their "scary and not scary" haunted house. I entered the "not scary" haunted house and was also told by one of their employees that it wasn't scary at all. Some kiddos in my party were scared including my own. I probably wouldn't re-enter the haunted house again if I ever returned here. The place gets packed but the lines did move fairly fast for the Hay and train rides we rode. My party enjoyed it but I would've been more impressed if there were better scenery for the Hay Ride. Great photo ops for Fall and yummy pumpkin spice ice cream!

Really nice place for everyone to enjoy ! Feeding baby goats was the best part I little over priced for kids I have to say that ! The place is small and it would be nice if they would consider lowering their prices a little

Rounding up from a 3.5 stars. Nice place to visit once for younger children. But once you've spent an hour or two here you've pretty much exhausted everything that can be done here. Get here early as the half moon bay traffic later in the day can make getting in and out of their driveway rather challenging. Would recommend to also dress in layers, it can be quite cool and breezy in the shade, but can also get quite warm when out in the sun. We liked the gemstone panning and the tractor ride. The inflatable slide and the electric cars were really fun as well. Yes the children's tickets can be pricey, but still worth a try at least once.

I took my 1-year-old to Lemos Farm Pumpkin Patch, and overall, it was an OK experience. They had a lot of activities, but my little one was too small for most of them. We did enjoy the train ride, hayride, play area, and, of course, the pumpkin patch. The train ride, while fun, was very brief. They drove a bit fast, which made it hard to enjoy the scenery. It goes through a makeshift town, and I think it would be much better if they slowed down and maybe added a narrative. That would make it more engaging for everyone, especially little kids. One highlight was the goats! My son loved feeding them and even got to go inside the pen to play. It was a nice interactive experience that he enjoyed. For older kids, there were other activities like pony rides, Jeep power wheels, a bouncy house, and a slide, but these were more for kids a bit bigger than mine. In general, it's a good spot for kids, especially if they're a bit older. For a 1-year-old, the options are more limited, but it was still a pleasant visit.

A few of my friends told about this place and saw it on instagram. This is a cute pumpkin patch. Good for photo ops and good for kids. You have to pay to get inside. If you come after Halloween, the price goes down and it's less crowded. The kids ticket included hay ride, train ride, pony ride, haunted house, and goat petting zoo. They also offer birthday parties here.

everything about this pumpkin patch was soooo cutesy! i know it gets super busy on weekends, so we opted to go on a weekday and got to do every activity offered without waiting. we ended up getting the gold pass for my two year old daughter and i believe it was well worth the price since all the activities were unlimited. she had so much fun on the pony ride and got to do that twice! there's also a lot of places to take those cute fall photos and pumpkins everywhere!! loved it here :)

We had such a wonderful time at Lemos Farm with my daughter! This place truly captures the magic of autumn on the coast. The pumpkin patch was beautifully decorated and had that classic farm charm we were hoping for. My daughter's eyes lit up during the pony rides the staff was so patient and gentle with the kids. The mini train ride was a huge hit too, chugging around the property while she waved at other families. We spent ages feeding the goats, which had her giggling nonstop when they nibbled treats from her tiny hands. The bounce castles were perfect for burning off some energy, and the hay ride gave us a nice tour of the farm while enjoying the crisp ocean breeze. Everything felt safe and well-maintained, and the staff clearly loves working with families. What I appreciated most was how many activities were included we easily spent 3-4 hours there without feeling rushed. The pumpkins were gorgeous too, and we found the perfect one to take home. Lemos Farm delivers exactly what you'd want from a family pumpkin patch experience. We'll definitely be back next year - it's become our new fall tradition!

It was our first time coming here. The children loved it. Fairly clean for the most part and a lot of attractions for everyone. I appreciated the staff turning on the lights for the toddlers to go through the haunted house to make it less scary. The kids loved the train and hay rides and my daughter loved the pony rides. The younger son spent most of his time in the bounce house and play structures.

This is taken during the class. It's very chaotic, a good kind.
    Mel C.

This review is for the "goat yoga" class only. Goat yoga! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! It's SO MUCH fun doing yoga, or trying to do yoga, around baby goats. LOL. I think nobody takes the class seriously. We all are there to play with goats. During the class, goats roam freely. There's a staff tossing treats around us so they would come over. A couple of them just started nibbling my bog toe, my tripod, and my shoes.... Since I was there early and the farm is just opened, they let me go into the farm where all the rides are. Usually you have to pay first b4 going on. I think it's a pretty decent place for little ones. I also see a coyote of different birthday parties for kids. What a great idea!

Fun farm on the way to Halfmoon bay, it's on the right side of the freeway and you'll often see large painted signs advertising pony rides. It's larger than it looks and extends in pretty deep. Parking is in back and the lot is very large. They do rent out for events and organizations, we came for my youngest school event and we had the whole place to ourselves. They have goats in a pen and when we went there was a cute baby goat that was wandering around. Even though it was a closed even they also had goat-yoga near the front. For the kids there is plenty to do and you can easily spend an hour here. Bounce houses, pony rides, a coin-op construction vehicle you can pick up dirt with, ATV "power-wheels", haunted house, train ride, and a hay ride in the back of a truck.

Do they only have porter potties here?

No. There are regular bathrooms as well

Could you buy tickets in person?

Yes they have a ticket booth there! But for busy holiday weekends I would suggest buying them online ahead of time so you can secure a spot.

Do you have to buy passes for everyone or is there a separate ticket for entry and you buy only the rides you want? Online there are only passes but in past years you could buy each ride separately. Thanks!

Howdy! Admission Farm Passes at the farm will grant you entry to the farm as well as access to unlimited riding on most rides/activities. There is a Gold and Silver Pass option for kids. And there is an Adult Pass for all adults. There are…

Is there same day re entry or in and out privilege?

Yes, they will give you a wrist band at entry. As long as you keep the wrist band, you're good to leave and come back.

My husband and I are taking our 5 year old. We bought tickets for our child, and 1 adult (instead of 2 adults), as we dont plan on having both adults accompany our toddler on each ride. Do we still need to purchase tickets for 2 adults for admission?

Yes. You will need a ticket to enter. Unless someone is staying in the car, you'll need two tickets.

Planning to purchase tickets. Anyone know about their refund/exchange policy? Pending on a family members condition, we may not be able to make it.

Their website says all sales final and non refundable, but they are pretty flexible with changing it to another day or another person. Even if you buy online, you still have to go to the ticket booth for the wristband, so the wristband can be…

I bought tickets but can't go. Are the tickets transferrable? Can I give them to a friend?

They just scanned our QR codes at the entrance so I assume if you can give that to a friend then they can enter. They did not check IDs/names associated with the purchase.

I thought I bought tickets but didn't get a confirmation and now the website says sold out. Can I purchase tickets when we arrive? It's a two hour drive so I wanted to confirm.

Anyone have any luck with their refund request?

If you are in need of a refund please email us and we’d be happy to fulfill your request.

    Is this dog friendly?

    Nope

Only was a able to buy 2 tickets online, I need one more ticket for my 3rd kid can I buy one at the door?

Yes, you may purchase the additional kids pass at our ticket booth here on the farm.

    Is this open these days?

Lemos Farm is open every Saturday and Sunday from 10am-5pm.

I might have missed it somehow, but is it appointment only or can we just walk-in? Thank you!

You may either reserve your tickets ahead of time online, or walk-in to purchase tickets here when you arrive.

    Is this for October only?

Lemos Farm is open all year round on weekends. Our website has more information such as our calendar and list of activities to help plan your trip.

Is it open during week days? I'm confused because their website says weekend and Yelp says everyday of the week

After the month of October ends, it will only be open on weekends. It's open all year long.

What are the prices? Adults and big kids? I'm confused 😐

Adults is $10 and the kids are $25. But if you feel tight for money you can just walk in and pay for each ride separately. The kids gold package for $25 gives you unlimited rides (train, hayride, pony ride, slide, and bumper cars) and the $10 for…

I see COVID protocols on their site, but are they being enforced? We go every year, but we don't want to pay the money and end up leaving because of unsafe guests wrecking it for our kids.

Not going to lie, we went 2 weeks ago, and... well... no one enforced any social distancing, mask wearing, etc. It really is up to you to try and avoid others as much as possible. There's some high-contact areas like the pumpkins and the goat…

Are we allowed to bring alcoholic beverages for the adults at the picnic table?

The farm does not permit alcohol on the premises.

Is there food available for purchase?

Yes there is a limited menu of food but more of the snackish variety (is nachos & cheese a lunch?). Do bring a few dollars more for their splendid pumpkin pie.

    Is it pet friendly?

They encourage not to bring dogs because they might frighten the ponies.

So let's preface this with, my daughter corresponds with her "very own fairy" (aka. me--a very involved parent who also celebrates her half birthday, commits to elaborate elf on the shelf surprises for a prolonged period each year, is her Girl Scouts troop leader, etc.). She's been asking her fairy to take her to Neverland. The fairy responded "not yet", and instead supplied what my daughter referred to as "free" tickets" (online $20/pp, or $139/annual which includes an adult and 3 kids) to Fairyland the next day. We took the Bart to 19th St Oakland from San Francisco, which was SUPER convenient (daughter loves the train, and I hate driving in traffic), thought a bit of a walk in the Oakland heat/humidity. Also the lake that it's located on, absolutely reeks of sewage--I don't understand how people purposely walk/jog along the edges; but at least you can't really smell it from Fairyland. Just walk on the upper sidewalk or across the street if you share in my disgust. You'll get plenty of cute photos. The few rides they have (4 rides total) are very cute, had no lines on a summer weekday, and only accommodate heights between 36"-54" (except for the Jolly Trolley train which is all heights though adults need to watch their heads when squeezing in and out). The height restriction is very important to know before you go, to ensure your kid isn't disappointed. Wear sunscreen. No mosquitoes, which I was concerned about given the standing lake water and humidity. There are outdoor sinks with soap and antibacterial to wash your hands periodically, which I appreciated. As expected, a high priced gift shop, though it's stocked primarily with smaller toys, so if you're roped into purchasing something it won't break the bank. The single restaurant counter is actually quite perfect! Imaginibbles serves super cute, kid friendly healthy food that is reasonably priced at ~$7/entree. Smaller portions, but in my opinion, perfect for a theme park. The reusable cup ($8, includes one refill) is color changing when cold, very sturdy for a plastic cup, and you can fill with strawberry, white peach or watermelon lemonade that isn't overly sweet. You are also allowed to bring your own food, and there were plenty of folks picnicking on the large grassy area. Attractions are definitely old (paint missing throughout), and not cleaned well. Spiderwebs galore, particularly in areas that are meant to only be looked at, such as the Alice statue that you can see through a window in the Alice in Wonderland tunnel. A quick broom sweep would do wonders! There are a number of cute smaller animals, like chickens, a bearded dragon, 2 donkeys, and a land tortoise. These areas conversely appear relatively well maintained, which is fantastic for both the animals and to keep smells minimal. There is also a pressed wood town area with a slide where the kids can run around and climb into the different buildings, which seemed to be a favorite of many kids. There is a long ~30min puppet show (daily ~11am, 2pm) that changes seasonally, and somehow manages to keep most kids' attention. Magic key ($3) is an easy souvenir (colors change each day, so theoretically you can collect them), and used to hear music/stories through various boxes around the park. Though boxes are staticky (older), and some have bolts sticking out that prevent your key from being turned and thus the stories/music to play. My daughter quickly tired of them anyway, but she loves treasures like the "magic" key, so it was money well spent. There is also a hand-crank penny presser (51 cents) in the gift shop, so bring some change. One disappointment of Fairyland, is that there are literally no "fairies" anywhere to be found. You'd think they might have a few tiny fairy houses situated out of reach, or even fairy lights in trees to simulate fairies. Overall, fun filled and worth the ticket price. Just be sure your kid is in the height range for rides!

As a Snoopy fan, I was super excited for Snoopy Land, with a whole range of Snoopy-themed rides, merch, and buildings. There was a good selection of food options, like Panda Express, American diners, a Southern restaurant, a funnel cake spot, Dippin Dots stands, and more. I was also impressed with how big the water park is. I spotted plenty of water slides, a lazy river, a water playground, a wave pool, and plenty of lounging seats. Definitely need to visit again and do a pool day!

She was very rude and degrading she had said me and my friend could not meet with our family in line we had accidentally gone in the fast pass lane and thought what would the difference be if we just went with our family members? But no she said we could not join them in line even though many other people had jumped the fence to get in line with their friends RIGHT in front of her but she just so happened to tell us we couldn't just go with our family, we even asked which many other people did not do but we were targeted I felt very humiliated and degraded which after the whole situation she saw people cut the line and said nothing yet had the urge to call us out this whole situation felt very unfair and uncomfortable.

Coming here as an adult recently, I noticed some things are no longer there such as the photographers who take your group photo when you first enter the park, reaction photos when on a rollercoaster so you can see your face when on the ride, and I also noticed that they don't do photo ops anymore with the Looney Tune characters. It made me a bit sad that these things I used to love as a kid are no longer there. Aside from that, I'm mainly giving my recent visit 3 stars because my friends and I got the Fast Pass Reserve where you can reserve a time to go on a ride but the website or app where you have to reserve a time to ride a rollercoaster kept crashing or glitching and was hard to keep up. At one point, all the rides were delayed but we noticed the ride was still going.

This is the most thrilling attraction at Gilroy Gardens. It is themed after the mines, and you ride on a mine cart. When you're in the queue you can see pictures and some historical snippets, but not much to look at in general. The ride itself isn't super fast and doesn't go very high so the drops don't feel anything more than someone quickly going down a hill in a car. So when they say thrilling that may mean thrilling for kids, but as someone said, this is a great trainer coaster. Fun, but not something I'd wait over 30 minutes for. It is neat that it goes through the trees here and it's the only ride that has it's own separate check in on Yelp? I know Disney has separate check ins for everything, so maybe it is time to change that LOL.

The website boasts this "thrilling mine coaster speeds you through dips and turns surrounded by…read morenearly 600 trees!" Built in 2001 by DH Morgan Mfg, it's billed as the only "thrill ride" in Gilroy Gardens, although their wobbly Sky Trail Monorail ride makes my adrenaline rush because it feels like it's going to fall. The track is 2,139 feet with a top speed of 32 mph. The highest of the two lift-hills is 38 feet, which is about 7 yawning grandpas end to end. Basically, the smooth dips and turns of this two-lift steel coaster disguised as an abandoned cinnabar (mercury) mine train that is a very basic but enjoyable ride that's thrilling for someone barely reaching the height requirement (42" to ride with an adult, 48" to ride alone). It's a good training coaster. The cool thing is that they'll often let you stand by the exit wall for a chance at a second ride if they anticipate that the next train won't fill up. Think "Big Thunder" but not that big. Think "Small Thunder" but not that thunderous. Think "light rain", or "hummingbirds spitting on you".

Bought tickets online and AAA also offers comparable discount…read more NOTE: they do not distribute maps so if you are a map person, download and print before you go. Going on a week day is less crowded however you might see kids attending summer camps. We went on Monday, July 6th and there was hardly any lines everywhere. Maybe it was because people were still vacationing for the July 4th weekend. The most we waited was 5 minutes. Sometimes they are not very efficient when letting on new riders such as the ferris wheel. We were able to get on all the rides and even repeated some rides because there was no line. You might have to wait for the train ride since it circles around. There's another pick up / drop off point halfway as well in case you want to get off, do something and get back on later. The paddle boat ride (ducks and swans) was fun - they tell you to paddle for 5 minutes then you need to paddle back. Every rider must wear a life jacket for safety reasons. The handle bar to control left or right turn was a little tricky but you get used to it. Yes - the food prices are high - which I was not surprised. I had a craving for a funnel cake which costs after taxes $17+ which shocked my hubby. The more crowded it is, the longer you'll need to wait in line and the fewer rides you'll be able to get on - so I suggest getting there when they open to maximize your time since they close at 5 or 6pm. We focused on the rides and didn't tackle the kids water park.

Food: overpriced, mediocre Garlic bread + chicken for $10,…read moretiny amount. Rides: horridly managed. Tons broken. Some are fun and quick. Some rides have ridiculously long lines that are poorly managed (like you're the 10th family in line but can't seem to get to the front after an hr in line... why??) The ferris wheel for example looks like a short line (we prob had 8 families ahead of us) but soo many seats left empty because they were somehow BROKEN. I have no idea why they let on like 4 people at a time when it can fit like 40 people at once (10 carriages fitting up to 4 people each). Took us 50min from entering line to finishing ride. We wanted to get out of the line so many times but my toddler wanted to ride it. The lake boat paddle ride seems so inefficient... took over 1hr in line and we gave up. The hot air balloon ride was horrid we had to get out of line bc it took forever to start the ride each time, they just let fast track people on, and it didn't fit that many people each time. It fits up to 4 but most balloons only had 1-2 people riding- they should encourage 2 families sharing a balloon. Water: looked fun but we didn't have the water play items and didn't want to spend another $50 on towels and such. Honestly think this is probably the only worthwhile area of the park but it's only open during the summer. (But water parks are NOT worth $65pp + $25 parking) Nature center was actually nice and air conditioned but apparently they're downsizing it permanently after October. The train broke. South county backroads (car buggy ride) was broken. The monorail was broken the whole day. How are they charging $65 per person? Guess we're not getting the membership option. Parking is $25 .... that's ridiculous. Overall extremely disappointed with this place, found it overpriced, too many rides broken, and will not be coming back.

Amazing park and zoo for younger children…read more My sons are five and eight and this was the perfect park for them. They are very active so I appreciated how there are multiple places for them to run around and play. If you were there for the zoo, a lot of the habitats are under construction so I wasn't as impressed with that area. Same with the rides, they are for pretty young kids, I'm thinking 3 to 5. So none of them were that interesting to my older son except for the one small roller coaster that he rode once. Also, they weren't open all day so a lot of them weren't open when we walked by them. But the reason none of this bothered me was because the playgrounds were a spectacular and the price point for a day is quite low so I felt that the quality match the price. They do have a quick service Restaurant here where you can grab food. I was very impressed by the selection. They had both food that kids love as well as healthier options. Although take this with a grain of salt because we are visiting from Florida, so our options are generally not healthy. I don't know what the standard is in California so this may just be the norm. We did bring a stroller which was useful when my younger son refused to keep walking. However, this park isn't huge so you could get away without bringing a stroller. This place is pretty much all outdoors so I wouldn't come here if it was raining. The weather was beautiful when we were here. If I lived closer, I would definitely have an annual pass.

We lined up at our 730pm check-in time and waited 35 minutes in the cold and were only halfway through the line. We left because it would have been another 25-35 more minutes to get through the line. We did not enter the trail until 720pm, and that is after getting in line at 640pm. Just be aware. Which is fine, my family had fun and the actors inside are funny and well rehearsed. However, since we waited so long, we got out of the trail around 750pm. My kid wanted to play the carnival games, which close at 8pm, so we bought some tickets to play, and were out to the carnival by 752pm, they had already taken everything down and had only a few simple games still up. My kid was bummed, but I figured since there were no refunds, I could go back and get a snack instead with my tickets. I was denied and told to come back next week to redeem the tickets. I know this is all for a good cause and it really isn't too big of a deal, but it is silly that I literally bought the tickets within a minute and then walked back after the carnival being closed and then denied to even use the tickets on anything else and then told to come back next week. They were told not to sell any tickets since they were closing up the carnival early, but I guess it wasn't communicated well. I guess we will be back to use up the tickets next weekend...?
