Cannonball is my wild black Goldendoodle puppy and Duchess is my 11 year old girl who has been through a lot and doesn't trust easily. Watching her walk willingly into the salon with Sarah almost made me cry. If you knew this dog you'd completely understand what that moment meant. She even trusted Dave! Which is saying something bc Duchess isn't the biggest fan of men. This was only Cannon's second visit and Kassie got down on the floor to greet him. He climbed right into her lap. He looks absolutely incredible and we can't go anywhere without people stopping us. Cannon is my first dog that needs real grooming and I had so much to learn. Between Dave, Sarah Kassie and the whole team I've walked out knowing more every single time. Coats, brushing, shampoos, home care. They just give that knowledge freely. What Sarah and Dave have built here is genuinely something special. The entire team is trained in pet CPR and knows risks most groomers have never even heard of -- like heat stroke from blow dryers. No kennels, no crates, spotless shop, amazing atmosphere. They even have self wash stations for bath days or dogs that don't need a full groom. These are my kids. I don't trust them with just anyone. I trust them here.

It appeared organized with knowledge of dogs and temperaments and who goes where. I did express several times, I was fine with Stanley being left in a kennel by himself. We were only going to be gone for a few hours and was concerned with just the 2 staff folks there and all the areas for dogs to play. It does seem they have regulars so know the dogs well and who would play well, with whom. I appreciate the ability to text. I checked in about an hour after we left, all was well. I received a text a couple of hours with a short video of him smelling an area with another dog. I was a bit concerned they took him out with another dog but thankfully, he was fine in video and when I picked him up. I am definitely a helicopter mom and worry but I would have hoped my wishes were honored, of him being alone. I was able to enjoy by time zip lining while my boy was watched. I did not find it dirty, I felt for a huge kennel, it was fine for me. Kennels are going to smell and get dirty & maybe there could be more staff but I would recommend them. The only suggestion, if you are adamant about something-get their commitment they can deliver. Before our appointment, we had confirmed everything--cremation, paw prints, even having his ashes shipped. When we arrived, no one seemed to have that information. We had to repeat everything multiple times while trying to hold it together emotionally. One bright spot was Dr. Sarah Fielding, who was kind, gentle, and reassuring. She was the only person who truly made us feel supported. The rest of the experience felt rushed and impersonal. And then came the hardest part. We were told our puppy would be fully asleep before the final step. He wasn't. He appeared panicked and resisted, and I had to physically hold him down. That moment has stayed with me. It was not peaceful, and it was not what we were promised. Afterward, the issues continued. We were given conflicting information about his ashes, had to call to confirm basic details, and when we picked up his paw prints, one didn't even look like his. We were told it had been made later after removing him from the freezer, which was incredibly upsetting to hear. Hoping for some accountability, we spoke with the manager, Brooke. Instead, she was dismissive from the start, insisted nothing was mishandled, and even confused our case with someone else's before telling us we were the ones misunderstanding. That conversation made everything worse. A corporate representative later reached out and acknowledged things fell short, which I appreciated--but an apology doesn't undo what happened. This wasn't just a miscommunication. It was repeated failures in coordination, care, and basic compassion during one of the most painful moments a pet owner can experience. No family should have to go through this. I would not recommend this office for euthanasia- unless you enjoy double the pain and suffering to accompany you with your grief, then this is the place for you. And you should probably avoid Brooke at all costs. She'll just gaslight you until you hang up.
