Lemus moving company did a great job with our move. They were affordable but still professional and diligent and nice. We had 3 guys coming to our old place in Quincy (2 hours earlier than scheduled but we were really happy about that) and started working right away. It was about 90 dregrees outside but they still pushed through and were pretty fast. They also took the fastest route to get to our new place in Somerville. They were even there before us, because they must have known a faster route. Unpacking and bringing everything up to the new place went well as well. A few minor scratches on some of the furniture were inevitable but that would have happened to us as well if we did it ourselves. We were very happy with them overall. The price is great, but I recommend to expect to pay more than the quote says. We had almost all of our boxes alreay brought to the new place before they came so they only had to move our furniture but it still took half an hour longer than it was planned for a 1bed - 3 hours (but we have A LOT of stuff!!). If they had to move all the boxes too, we would probably have to pay for at least 2 or 3 hours longer than the quote was saying. But they really went as fast as they could and with another moving company it would probably be the same unless they give you more than 3 man. But all other companies I researched were a lot more expensive. I would totally recommend this company and use them again for another big move!! Thanks Lemus!! :) read more

Lemus Moving Company is simply the BEST!!! SO VERY IMPRESSED! We moved from an 1880 colonial (with 4 levels including the basement and a carriage house). Lots of furniture and heavy boxes. These guys (Gabriel, Santos, and Santos Sanchez) worked SO HARD and did not stop from the moment they arrived until we were moved into our new home. They took the time to place and arrange our furniture where we wanted it and assembled necessary pieces. They even moved furniture for us when we changed our minds about placement. COURTEOUS, EXTREMELY HARDWORKING and took their time to make sure that we were happy with where everything was placed. We used Lemus for our recent move. We were impressed from the start with how communicative and detailed they were. A day before the move, we had some issues with closing on the new home so we needed to postpone the move. this is our second move with Lemus moving company and they are great. they come at the exact time they set up. in fact they come a little early, which was great! the two teams we had were so professional and careful with our furniture and our things. we actually used them for our daughter's move 5 days before as well. they got everything loaded up and unloaded in less than 3 hours. the price was very reasonable. i would recommend them highly! These guys were absolutely incredible. Showed up 15 mins early on moving day, and had all of my boxes and furniture loaded onto the truck in less than an hour! Fast and efficient, and all of them very polite and friendly, and I had a lot of very heavy boxes and never heard one complaint - they made it look effortless. Even with travel between, they had everything there and moved in to my new place in less time than even quoted, so it came out even less than anticipated. I have used Lemus a number of times - moved twice with them over the past 6 years and used them an additional three times to move my mom into assisted living and then subsequent care units. I called LEMUS Moving after receiving a text with their prices. Wow! Very reasonably priced. And the guys were very quick. I think they got me moved a little under the minimum quoted as the final bill was $75 less. My move was $415 and Rima gave me a quote for $490 for 3 1/2 hours min. Rima is fantastic too.
