Domenic was super responsive off the get go, was able to book immediately over the phone with him after discussing my needs and receiving a quote! his crew was very careful moving my items, not a single damage to anything no scratches on walls. I really appreciated the way they all worked as a team and respected one another, even with the slightest inconveniences. for instance, they helped move my W&D machines into the basement and the storm dorm had only about 1 inch wiggle room... TIGHT narrow squeeze but doable.. they had difficulty getting thru at first but realized by turning the machine on the side it would fit thru easily. that short momentary struggle was met with encouraging words by Domenic to his staff and ultimately a positive outcome - they got them in.. yay! would 100% recommend this company for whatever moving job you need.. they will show up on time and will be ready to work, no frills. just GOOD, HONEST, LOCAL business people! read more

This review is SO long overdo. . . Domenic & his crew ROCK!!! Seriously - I moved in April, over Patriot's Day weekend. I was in total denial - I had packed only 90% of my belongings, needed to take a quick trip to NJ, not bothered to gather many estimates, and generally was unprepared. l literally called Domenic on my return trip from NJ. It was cold and rainy that weekend. He promised to be there promptly Saturday morning, and he was. For about ten years, I have resisted yelp... While I often visit this website to read reviews, usually for restaurants, I was never moved to become a Yelper myself. UNTIL, Dom saved me last wknd: I'd procrastinated so badly that it was the Friday before Memorial Day Weekend, and I needed to move that day - before traveling to Miami. I waited a little late in the game to hire movers (less than two weeks before moving on the last Friday in June in Cambridge, MA). Most places couldn't accommodate me, or could only move me at the end of the day, which messed up my moving-van-permit situation. I used Dominic and his crew for a local move from Reading to Andover 3 weeks ago. I picked him as one of the potential companies to use based on previous Yelp reviews. When I called, he picked the phone up and was able to give me some open dates (I was looking 2 weeks in advance). We were moving a single family house, he was able to estimate over the phone how long it would take, how many people, and whether another truck would be necessary. His rates seemed quite reasonable, charging by the hour for his crew of 3 people. We confirmed a day later on the phone and then I started packing. Dominic was a few minutes late (10), but I felt that was within reason. He and his crew got right to work, looking at what we had, asking us questions regarding labeling, etc. After seeing the house in person, he confirmed the information he had given me over the phone, then got right to work. They did a good job of working around us while we were doing some last minute packing. They were well equipped with pads, bands, etc., and made sure our items would not be damaged. We did not have any items damaged in the move, and they were very careful of our home and our belongings. They filled their truck to the brim, then headed off to unload. The unpacking was as smooth as the packing, and all of the crew were personable and professional. I would not hesitate to use Movers On the Go again. I wish YELP had 10 star ratings because these guys would get a perfect 10. Dominic and his friendly, helpful and careful staff moved us today from MA to VT. They were super sensitive to our belongings but worked really fast making the move go so fast. I may be 60 but the muscles on these guys did not go unnoticed! They are incredibly strong and were able to get a very large and heavy sofa up to our second floor apartment and through several doorways that I was convinced were too small. They are magicians!
