I was asked by the mayor of the town I live in to purchase a 1/4 of an acre of my property. The city was instructed by the EPA to add onto their water station that is at the end of my property. Of course I'm on board with doing that! We have been trying to work with Cross Country for TEN months with very little communication and one very rude employee who works in the land transaction department. i have had to include several people from the company in all of my emails to get any answers from her. Even with some of the company staff telling her in an email that the company was being embarrassed, she is still giving me and the city the run around. She even tried to tell us that she did not receive a check and a whole packet of paperwork. I had to threaten a lawsuit for losing a $500 check and my personal information in the packet of mail that was sent certified and signed for at her office. I even provided the name of the person who signed for it. Magically it was found after that. But I can only imagine what would have happened if it wasn't sent certified!! Now she has claimed to have ordered a ln appraisal and said I would be getting a call to schedule one. I have not gotten a call and when I asked her about it she said she didn't have any information about it. I guess they don't mind lawsuits as I see now that they are facing several of them, this is unfortunate and I fear I am going to have to hire a lawyer myself. if you can avoid using them do it! It will not go well!!!

So I had 3 checks to deposit because I thought it would be better and faster than mailing it. Brenda was my CSR and she was astounding. She provided me with information on how to do a mobile deposit. I told her I knew how but she was insisting on telling me regardless. Sometimes, it is better to be quiet and listen even if you know how to do it already. Brenda gave me a check for $5 so I can practice and not be shy about using mobile deposit. IT'S MY BIRTHDAY I have only been banking with NFCU since about January 2025, I already received a credit card with zero % term interest and earned $250 for reaching the program requirements within 90 days and the card is 11% lower than the cards that I have. I was able to get a loan at less than 13%. Doing business with this bank has been a perfect 10/10. Customers service is top tier A1. I dealt with a few CSR's but didn't get their names.
