After much dismay, watching millionaire corporations eat up the small business loan money during Covid 19, I was referred by a friend to Lendistry. I was told they got it together and I would have a better chance for streamlined processing with this organization. St. Nick was my guy throughout the process. He found I was missing some paperwork and really was great at clearly defining what i needed. He was truly like a guardian angel. Every time he sent something out and i did not clearly understand, Nicholas responded immediately. He was really as good as it gets. There was days when we went back and forth like 3 or 4 times and he was positioned perfectly on point when i was sending in the wrong thing or just needed an example of what the right thing might look like. This is the worst company you can have business. I borrowed my first PPP from my bank, Bank of America. There was no service fee. I received forgiveness as soon as provided them the documents. But lendistry not only charged me service fee, but refuse to grant federal tax free status even government instruction clearly indicated below: With the Second Draw PPP, loan proceeds were for the second 8 to 24-week period following loan disbursement. The same requirements apply for forgiveness, including maintaining employees and pay, using loan proceeds on payroll and other eligible expenses with 60% required to cover payroll specifically. Now I have to pay federal tax. Do not do businesss with this company. read more

Everything worked out. I emailed them well after the estimated deposit date to check on the status of the funds. I did not get a response, but the funds were deposited a few days later. ***Update 05/20, I did end up receiving the CA Grant via Lendistry, so they are technically legit. I updated from 1* to 2*. Their customer service is still non-existent. They request information via email and have contact numbers in their signature. They NEVER reply to confirm if your resubmittals are good. They take 3-5 days to let you know submitted docs have issue. Questions takes 3-5 business days for email replies and infinity for phone replies. I left 3 Voice messages and none were replied. read more

As a business owner I had applied for a term loan three times. For the first two applications the amounts requested were in the range of over $500,000. Two many documents were required including three years of tax return documents and a couple of more SBA forms. The two were declined due to insufficient cash flows. That is still acceptable. The third application was for the amount of $50,000. They added up the closing costs of $6,000 and required a down payment. This was a business borrowing, not a personal borrowing. But I was declined due to my FICO score, even though my business, a C-corporation with 6 equity holders has survived 9 years. The corporate executives can come and go, but it seems unfair to decline a loan request from a 9-year-old C-corporation due to my personal FICO score. Lendistry seems to use a wrong yardstick to measure a small business that has survived the pandemic and those 9 years. If anyone is given $1 million free, do you think it is easy for that person to survive 9 years without succumbing to the pandemic and wild fires. LENDISTRY is bureaucratic for a small business that is laudable for surviving almost a decade, treating business loan applications as personal loans. read more

What a garbage company. Literally spend thousands on getting everything ready for for the grant, I submitted everything they asked and I got approved only to be told that they want to see more documentation. Clearly they said anyone's business who starts before June of 2019 is in, my business started January 1 2019 and they still found excuses not to give the grant. I was chosen in the lottery for the Lendistry grant but hadn't submitted the correct forms. The customer service reps that helped me were amazing and emailed me promptly to notify me of the forms I needed until I was able to submit the correct forms! I had converted my business into a Corp in 2019. When I submitted my 2019 tax forms it didn't qualify me for the grant because there was no proof that I was a business before that. They were really helpful to let me know what I needed to submit to fix this error. The grant was able to help me lots with business debt. Thank you so much! read more

We received a grant from CA through Lendistry. Everything was easy to submit and the customer service lady was very helpful with helping submit our information. Be prepared to wait a long time to be advanced or get approved. I applied for a grant in May of 2020 and got the grant in July 2021. Also be prepared to wait 2 to 3 weeks for the funds to be deposited to your business bank account. read more

Covid has been brutal to my business. I have spent countless hours chasing grants, loans, unemployment only to hit brick walls and never being able to connect with a live person. With the latest announcement from Newsom for small business rescue I made sure to apply the first hour we were allowed to. The process was not easy. In fact, it was nearly impossible. By chance I reached out by email to a contact my friend found online. To my surprise Janet replied within minutes. And since then has been a true angel during three dark times. Regardless of whether or not I receive the grant, (highly unlikely because of the amount of applicants) my experience with Lendistry has been professional and compassionate. Applied for a Covid Sick Pay grant for my business, then called to follow up and learned that it was set aside because we needed to make a very minor adjustment to the application. I was told to call back the following week to correct it and get the application back on track. I have since called 5 times over the course of a month - every time, the customer service dept tells me there's nothing they can do but transfer me over to an account representative. Every time I am transferred, it goes straight to a voicemail. I have now left 5 voicemails with no callback. read more

This organisation does not seem competent to distribute this Covid Grant. I have been put on a waitlist several times. I am a small business and finding difficult to make it during this Pandamic. Their emails seem like they are giving applicants the runaround. You cannot even reply to their email that they send out. I am sure they must be giving out money to their friends - I would like to see a list of the businesses that have received funds so far. The positive feed back here seems to be their employees praising themselves. The Government needs to investigate this company. read more

Waited on First Round and Now Second Round; With Wineries, Events and Schools Closed, we as a Motorcoach, Bus and Limo company are down 95% in business. No calls, no updates besides us being pushed to second round. Its Feb 18th and no notices or anything in second round. Lendistry is not the choice for the state and has a done a subpar job at this process. I think since no one knows how they are choosing awardees, they are probably picking and choosing based on who they know. I will let my local Assemblymen know of this prejudice against our company and ask for a inquiry on handling. read more

OMHG! Who selected these folks?! I am a minority as I am a woman and the arrogance of trying to enter require data that just won't take on their system....given wrong error messages...ends up they do not support a mac at all! When challenged they are arrogant says buried in the one print. I am going to a women's business center and they are going to help me and VERY aware of the problem....so who hired them!? read more

Completely overwhelmed, so they just put their heads in the sand and don't try and solve the problem. Keep getting erroneous loan status emails. "Application incomplete" yet the website says everything is uploaded and complete. Can't reach anyone. 800 line is worthless. NO email addresses anywhere! I suspect the 5 star reviews are plants to try and keep their average up. Absolutely a crap Business. CA should be ashamed to have selected them for this critical purpose. Ugh read more

applied for California relief grant and due to miscommunication I almost didn't receive it. However, when I called Lendistry. However once I called them and spoke to a person, they told me what I had to do and I receive the loan. Lendistry's website is a big miss. I can't submit documents. Always that error message. I am very disappointed that there's no reliable customer service. The number listed on the site is a waste of time and the number on Yelp is out of service. The ETAs tend to go between 90-99 minutes. It never goes down. After an hour and 30 minutes of waiting, it kicks you off. No agent. Guess who's gonna miss out on Round 1 due to a faulty website? read more

Where can I start Janet Perez has been nothing but amazing! She and her team at Lendistry helped me when other banks would not. They got me 2 sba loans which helped me go from 1 store location to 4! I've been trying to finish my application for the CA Grant for the last 5 days. I've waited on the phone today to reach technical support for 1 hour and 30 minutes and yesterday for 1 hour and 15 minutes just to be told both times: "Yeah, I don't know why you're getting the error message. Maybe use a different computer???". What an epic fail. Lendistry is paid with our tax dollars to execute this program but has left so many people a drift because their system doesn't work. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS. I won't even get a chance to apply because their website is a mess. No answers, no assistance. Yet another screwing by California. read more

Though I appreciate the intention behind Lendistry's platform, they were not equipped to handle the California Relief Grant program. The platform was inaccessible (applications were not available in different languages, made 'guides' instead, kept crashing, was difficult to use), communication was chaotic (multiple messages saying different things), and if an applicant managed to get approved it took much longer than what was promised. I do want to send a note of appreciation to the few customer support folks who really supported us in helping small businesses navigate such a cumbersome system. read more

Like others, I am using Lendistry to apply for the CA small business grant. What a terrible frustrating experience. I missed the first round because I was never sent a login/password no matter how many times I tried. Calls just put me a cue where the wait time got longer and longer the more I stayed on the line. For the second round I finally was able to get a login/password. I even uploaded all of my documents and showed a completed application. Aha, I thought to myself, they fixed the problems!! And I had hope.... But no....their incompetence again reared it's head. Today I get notice my application is incomplete. When I try to login, it doesn't even recognize my email. Of course, I am on the phone right now with Lendistry, and my wait time is getting longer and longer with each passing moment. What a horrible experience. Whoever picked this company to do such a large scale project when they are obviously incapable should be fired. read more

Did you guys not think people were going to wait until the last minute to submit their applications? Why wouldn't you prepare for this? Applied for the Covid Relief Grant in early January. Application program is awkward to use. You never know if what you submitted is complete for consideration. There is no way to contact them to ask questions or resolve issues. No online help or email. Only an 800 number, which I called and was informed there would be a 73 minute wait time, 15 minutes later, it went to an 88 minute wait time, 30 minutes later, it now 73 minute wait time again. THis is not a rational or reasonable way to work with customers. No rational person will wait on hold for an hour and a half. The State of CA can do better than this approach through Lendistry. read more

Beyond terrible, how could the state fail to select a system that could handle the volume of applications so bad. I am sure Lendistry has been paid an immense amount of money for the software and it's a complete failure. The process was extremely streamlined and although much of it computer processed when it came to the final processing of the grant the gentleman we worked with made the process clear and easy. He let us know exactly what he needed and gave us lots of options in getting him the information. Lendistry massively failed our business with the Relief Grants not once but twice. They admitted to erasing all of our business documents the night before the first round of applications were due, effectively rendering our application worthless. The second round they promised they would get it right and make sure everything was submitted, they didn't even SUBMIT our application that was confirmed as complete two weeks prior. Lendistry massively failed thousands of citizens and we are looking into holding them accountable with a class action lawsuit. read more
