We were buying an older phase property in the first phase. We chose this builder because they can make modifications according to your needs. My friend is a 100% Disabled Veteran double Amputee in a wheelchair. We dealt with Marsha English who is not a Real Estate Agent only a salesperson we purchased this house on October 14, 2023 she told us the home would not be completed until August 2024. We had ask Marsha specifically, if we have to cancel, would we get our money back she said yes ! Well first of all they took our Earnest Money Deposit in the amount of $5,000.00 and never open Escrow and I being a Realtor myself ask who the Escrow Company was and Marsha said I don't know what you are talking about... I then said you can't except any kind of deposit and not open Escrow she said "well we have been doing it for the last 35 years! November 27 this Veteran had a Heart Attack we had to call 911he was in the hospital until December 2nd, 2023 p.m. we immediately called Marsha upon his return home told her what happened and we can't go thru with this purchase because after this type medical emergency he now has to be on oxygen 24/7 and now has Heart Disease. We ask her to return our deposit and she said I don't know I will call Corporate. I personally contact Kathy Provence at their Corporate Office and also sent an email explaining our situation. Kathy told me the Deposit is Non Refundable....Kathy paid no attention to my email and had the Audacity to ask us for the balance of the deposit of $5,000.00 because they will start building the end of January! So this would be a total of $10,000.00 deposit How on earth Does a Veteran pay $10k when a Veteran can buy with zero down and only pay closing cost? I had explained to Marsha and Kathy if he were to pass away I could not buy this house under a VA and I would lose $10,000.00 and be homeless! They both could care less! It's their greediness It's all about the Sales and P & L.... This is absolutely disgusting these people and this company have no regard to the buyer completely heartless! By the way by Texas Law under certain conditions such as medical they must return our deposit! And the Veteran affairs can stop them from doing a VA Loan in the future!

We have submitted warranty claims after warranty claims and none of them have been fulfilled. We put a claim in 3 months after moving in because our tile was cracked all the way from our kitchen, across our living room, and into our master bathroom. They sent one company out to look at the tile and they never returned. The third party warranty company tried pushing them to do a foundation test because we found out a repair was done on the foundation before we moved in. Not long after that they dropped the warranty company. So now they hold the warranty themselves. We have also had a grading issue with our property. Our backyard and side yard has never drained. We have had a lake and a river since we moved in. They have came out 5-6 times to "fix" the problem only to make it worse. They dammed up our neighbors backyard in the process. The whole property needs to be regraded and they refuse, even though it is part of the warranty. So, all in all, please beware when deciding to buy from this company. They have not upheld their warranty in any form and the lack of integrity is baffling. Please learn from our mistakes. Don't get caught in a storm like we have been. Just a friendly PSA.

We signed contracts and stuck with them for A YEAR, went through the process of building and being fully invested in what would be the forever home for our family of 4. Price increases of large amount to where we were pushed to our approval amount. (WAY ABOVE STARTING) Deadlines pushed back RIDICULOUSLY (terrible planning and business on their part, if Antares can do it you can.) long times. We gave our lease notice at our current home with assurances from multiple parties that it would be completed around that time, OF COURSE THIS DID NOT HAPPEN. They left a family of 4 with two very little children to live in an extended stay hotel for what would of been 3 months with the deadline pushed back. Even then we were doing it and willing to make that sacrifice. BAM, price increase AGAIN which in turn pushed us out of our approved amount. (Hitting 50K+ in increases at this point.) A year later after being loyal and understanding they crushed us and were so beyond unethical. Could not even make the small price sacrifice to honor and respect the people who were there from the very beginning. I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH, THESE PEOPLE ARE TERRIBLE AND UNTRUSTWORTHY, do not make the same mistake we did!!!
