Don't worry about good customer service here. Horrible. Don't worry about the empty tables being clean here. Horrible. Don't worry about the restroom being clean. Horrible. Use to love Lenny's! There was one North Jackson and it was decent. The guy that was the main cook was awesome. You would for sure get a hot sandwich/good. A warm welcome upon entering. At this location not so much of anything but the Indian lady looking at you like you're not welcome and she is rushing you for your order. The place was packed only due to the ballpark is now back open and it's baseball season. We ordered and needless to say we had to ask for one of the two dirty tables to be cleaned. Asked and it was a big deal to do obviously. She came from behind the counter cleaned one table and left the other dirty. Given the time they open i saw no reason for several things and one was for dirty tables, floor was nasty as though it was not mopped the night before, nothing was stocked. If you know that this is the time of the year that you will make most of your monies you should for sure be giving good customer service. My speculation is these were the owners and it's a shame. We will not be going back. Especially after the lady cleaned our table, left the other dirty and went behind the counter to sit down on the tote. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS RESTAURANT! read more

It never ceases to amaze me why a business owner would be rude? I'm not hard to get along with. $14 for a 10" sub. Paid extra for meat and cheese. Then she argues with me about putting lettuce on a hot Italian. Go anywhere else. They are NOT WORTHY OF your patronage. Cops an attitude because I said pardon me 3 times because she speaks broken English. I couldn't understand what she was saying. Then just walks away. Sub is done. I ask for side of extra Italian. Terrible service. My husband needed the convenience of the app and used it to order his food. He goes to pick it up and they didn't know what he was talking about. Of course short on time and sleep this is frustrating. But he was polite dealing with their ineptness. However instead of figuring out their mistake they refunded his money and threw his already made, ready to go salad he had ordered IN THE TRASH What in the world?! What a waste. What a disappointment. Do not spend your hard earned money here because they couldn't care less if you do. read more

We were passing through and decided to stop in this Lennys for dinner. It is hard to get everyone in my family to agree on the same place to eat but we all like Lennys. Just not this Lennys. It was clean and the employee was nice but it stops there. My eight year old likes the meatball sub but they said they were out of meatballs. I don't drink soda and after I paid for my drink I realized there was no tea. I asked for some tea and the employee said we put the tea up at 7 pm, it was 715 pm and the store closes at 9 pm. The Lennys by my house will break out a pre-made gallon of togo tea if they don't have any made in the restaurant. While we were eating the employee began putting all the chairs on the tables and sweeping at 730 pm. I could understand this at 845 pm, but not 730 pm. We will stop somewhere else next time passing through Jackson. read more

The first visit this place was just opening and service was on top of the game. It's been a month or two and I took time to pull off the interstate on the way to Nashville to catch a quick lunch. What I got was everything but quick. They had four employees working behind the counters and I didn't make any special orders, yet it took an "act of Congress" to get my food. On top of that, I'm trying my best to stay in line with Weight Watchers program and requested no cheese and very little mayo and wanted to walk them trough the dressing of my sandwich. I stood around for over 10 min as they attempted to slice the meat, and prep the breads, and I had to request them to take the cheese off my bread. My wife wanted her kisser bun sandwich toasted so off to the back one person went with it. When they returned I stood there in amazement as the two employees discussed something and then took the meat and cheese off the bun, returned the used bun to the back of the bread stack and got a new bun. I don't think that's right to return a semi used bun back to the bread bin. I left for a moment to check in with the family and returned to find all sandwiches at the counter and a person calling out ticket numbers. I was just there a minute ago hoping to dress the sandwich but was not given that option. The sandwich was OK, but remember this is a Chain place and hard to mess things up. I had only wished to have added extra pickles, lettuce, and less mayo as they dressed the sandwich. Slow, slow, & slow and some questionable things with the bun swap will not keep me away from the standard Lenny's sandwich that I love dearly, but it will 100% keep me away from this location. read more

This is only my second time at a Lenny's, first time at this location. It is close to JSCC and I decided to try it between classes. I came in at 11 and not many inside, area was clean. I could not understand the employees as their English was rather poor. I ordered a 5' veggie and was amazed that combining it with a drink and chips cost me $8!!! Was not the best veggie sub I've ever had either, I wasn't impressed and probably won't return to any Lenny's location. read more

After reading other reviews I reasoned that telephoning an order in would be advisable. I called and the employee on the other end of my call was so abrupt and incompetent that I was unable to even complete the placing of an order for single sandwich before ending the conversation by hanging up. read more

We were driving on 40 between Memphis and Nashville and decided it was time to grab something quick for dinner. Husband is difficult to get in agreement with where to eat, as his taste is rather simple and not adventurous like my son and me. We agreed to try Lenny's. Evidently this is a chain of franchises, but we dont have them in our area, so we werent familiar. I noticed after we had made the decision, that the yelp reviews for this particular franchise were not very good, but i did not share that information with my family. We actually were pleased with the product. Our Italian subs were made very closely to the way i would make them at home. The ingredients were fresh and plentiful. They are heavy on the mayo, which I love, but my son was wiping much of the mayo off the sandwich. Our sandwiches were made the way we ordered with no mistakes. I have no complaints. If you just want a quick sub made with good ingredients, this will be satisfactory. read more

Despite the negative reviews, I decided to give Lenny's a chance for lunch while in Jackson for business. The shop was clean and pleasant looking. There were enough seats to eat in if you wanted, and it was doing brisk business, but not too crowded. The woman who took my order was pleasant and good at her job. I got my sub in a short amount of time, and it tasted good. Is it the best lunch I've ever had? No. Is it as good as you should expect a sub shop to be? Yes. read more

Saw the 1 star rating for this Lenny's and thought, "oh well how bad can it be?" I thought I'd give it a shot because I'd love a sandwich on my drive instead of the usual fast food options and I'm willing to deal with sub-par customer service or a slow wait time in order to get one. Turns out that was a mistake. After waiting at the counter for several minutes without being acknowledged, I was told they were completely out of bread. All bread. Not just white or wheat... everything. Not best practice for a sub shop in my opinion. read more

you really don't want to go to this lenny's. they never have the same help and apparently someone is not teaching them manners. when we first started going there is was great. the service, the food and the politeness. the last 3 trips have been a horrible experience to say the less. we paid $25.00, for what not what we ordered nothing hardly on the sub. it will be back to subway, where at least they get it right. we are so disappointed they will not have to worry about our or anyone we know doing business there anymore. they need to close. very di-satisfied once loyal customer. read more
