My family and I love going to Slim Chickens. The crew is always kind and the food is brought out to us quickly. Now I work in the food service business so I know how it goes but during the summer these ice shoots get build up and mold growth more than ever. These ice shoots have a lot of mold inside and as you get ice your getting mold as well. I suggest these get cleaned weekly because the humid summer months. We can get people sick. We're always up to try a new chicken tender place. This one is a fast casual where you order at the counter and it's brought out to your table. It was a good chicken tender, for sure, but I'm not really sure how a chicken tender would extraordinarily distinguish itself from other chicken tenders? Maybe it's if they have a favorite sauce, or something else, who knows. We enjoyed it, price was fair, place was clean. Ordered take-out here, on the spur of the moment, for a large family gathering and although it was quite early in the morning at opening our food was on time and ready for pick-up. Staff was extremely courteous and efficient and chicken, sides, and sauces were all fresh and tasty. This was our first experience at Slim Chickens, but it was a good one. We will return. read more

Visited this place at the peak of lunch hour in the middle of the week. It was packed, but the service was very fast and very friendly. I had chicken tenders. They have a slightly different flavor tenders at Slim Chickens than I've had at any other restaurant. They are good. I believe it's the oil they cook them in. For some reason it kind of reminded me of Captain Ds fish. It wasn't bad, just different. I may try the grilled tenders next time. read more

Hot!! They serve hot food that has just been cooked. Their tenders are slim, but not dry as you might think. Cooked just right, the flavor and juicy bites of them are worth a stop. Fries are good too. Honey bbq sauce was good, where as the Korean bbq sauce was not too K, just something else. read more

Nice restaurant but they need another way or taking orders. The person being outside away from the Menu doesn't work. Most people like to look at the menu while ordering and I think that's proper. But you have the person taking it and then you move along after you have given your name and the young lady at the window to get the food ask your name & what did you have??? That makes no sense to me. You place a pretty big order but you give me one bbq sauce and had to ask for more. That makes no sense either. Two orders at least give two sauces for each. Fries were fresh but heavy on the salt. I must say they have a new wrap and it was REALLY GOOD. But one piece of chicken in it needs to be more like at least two pieces of chicken in it. Was good and fresh. Nice job just need to work on a few things. That why i give 4 stars. Nice and clean outside far as I could tell. No trash all around the window etc. read more

The food was really good ! I got the Cayenne Ranch Sandwich multiple times and it was amazing. Make sure to get extra Cayenne ranch on the side. Also the fries are good. When i went the service is good the staff are respectful. And the design of the place us pretty cool. read more

Food was incredible. Went on opening night and although it was extremely crowded but the service was still excellent. Tried all three desserts and they were all great. I highly recommend the Mac n Cheese as a side as well. I couldn't give any higher of a recommendation for a fast food place. Top of the line good all around. read more

Slim Chickens recently opened up in Tupelo, MS so we decided to give it a whirl. It did not disappoint. In fact, it gave the Lord's Chicken a run for their money. So fast forward to our recent shopping trip to Jackson TN. We were headed to a Mediterranean place when we spotted a Slim Chickens. We stopped in and were immediately greeted with a beautiful smile and a welcoming attitude. The food was of course great. The atmosphere was pretty low key as they weren't busy. I don't know the name of the young lady who was working the front cash register on 9/22/22 but she needs some kudos from management. Customer service, especially in the service industry has gone to pot but that young lady is working on keeping it alive. She was a breath of fresh air! read more

This is kiddie food. You get chicken strips and Mac n cheese. Maybe they'll add apple sauce to please all the kids and pre teens. And on top of that, the chicken isn't good. Today was my first time ever at a Slim Chickens. I e heard good things overall but have heard some bad reviews. After trying it - It's ok at best. The chicken was cooked well and looked as if it was seasoned well. However, the seasoning fell flat. I would say the chicken was very bland. It was hot and fresh, but bland. They also only have one small cup of dipping sauce for 4 tenders. The fries seem to have potential but mine were cold and soggy so... I can't recommend the fries. If I eat here again (BIG IF), I'd try a different side for sure. The staff was nice, I guess. The girl at the counter was pleasant. The girl that brought my food to the table didn't say anything but simply handed my food to me. Overall, I'd say I was underwhelmed and would rank several chicken restaurants above slim chickens, including Zaxby's, Chick-fil-a, Jack's, and even the chicken strips in the fried chicken taco at Taco's 4 Life. read more
