I hired them to replace 2 crossovers and heat tape. They sent one guy for the estimate and he did great. When I got the estimate everything that I wanted done was on it and I signed and paid for it. A week later 2 different workers came out and replaced the heat tape then a pile that they said was broken for me and I paid them for that but when it came to the cross overs they only replaced one and didn't even finish the attachment for the inside of the crossover in my house! I called and told them everything they even sent a another guy out and he finished the one crossover and looked at the one that was not done and looked at my estimate that said 2 crossovers. He told me he would speak with the company to get this finished. They called said I needed to pay a extra $130 for the crossover that they didn't do. I said no, I already paid and this should have been done already. I asked for my money back on the crossover they have not replaced. That was back in 9/17/2022 and I'm still fighting for my refund and still have a crossover not repaired and it's 04/13/2023. I'm reporting them to the BBB!! read more

I would give 5 stars for my first interaction but not for my most recent. The 3 stars I'm giving are for the people who did their part. I had my hot water tank replaced by Lenny's last year. The tech was friendly, efficient and the price was reasonable. I called them in May to do estimates on a few updates I want to make to my home. Again the 2 men who came to estimate were personable and knowledgeable. It's 3 weeks later and I don't have my estimates. The nice woman who answers the phone told me it's on Lenny's desk for review and I should have it soon. That was a week ago. Very disappointed. I see other reviews that state they didn't receive estimates either. Why bother doing estimating if you don't want the business? read more

When Lenny came out to quote the job, he was given specific instructions on the materials I wanted for this job. When I was sent the quote the materials I quested "seemed" to be on the quote. Example; while he was there I showed him the Larson screen away door that I already had on the door (but it was broken) and said I wanted the same door. On the quote it said Larson screen away door. I approved the quote because the items we discussed were on the quote. (Or at least that what I thought). I wasn't able to be there on installation because they had already scheduled a day to come and changed it last minute so I missed work and was unable to miss again. I FaceTimed my daughter to see how the project was going. The door was the wrong door. Again, it was a Larson screen away but it was NOT the door I showed Lenny when he was there to get the quote. I immediately told the guy and he said he could get me that door but it would be more money. They did not complete a flooring job that they were hired to do and when sent a letter to the company no one responded. Lenny does not care about the customers request or what the customer is asking for. He writes the quotes to look like you are getting what you requested but when it's not tells you it will cost you more money or does half the job and gives excuses to why they can't finish the project they actually quoted. It is NOT the customers fault if the customers are very specific in what they ask for and the company writes it up to look like it's what the customer asks for and it's not. Shame on this company for its deceitful practices . I would avoid hiring this company. read more

They did work for me last year and I was pleased. So I called them again. They came out to look at my house and give me a quote. Six weeks later I'm still waiting for my qoute. I kept calling them and was given the run around. They finally told me that they are very busy. They should have been honest with me from the start. read more

I had Lennys out here doing insurance work on my mobile home before it got cold and I didn't have any problems then my drains in my bathroom started freezing up and the mobile home park called them and they came out and he redid it and he said that he fixed it so it wouldn't happen again well here it is now my toilets are all froze up and I can't get anybody out here I can't afford to pay for a service call for something they claimed that they did that it wouldn't happen again read more

I can't review the service since Lenny is acting like a child and won't get back to me. I was going to have him do some work for me last fall/winter but I needed to get paid first so I had to wait. Apparently I didn't get back to him soon enough because when I did my messages were never replied to despite having called probably six times. I was thinking about trying them again this summer, but he's still throwing a fit. I've called several times and asked for someone to email an estimate, they never have. I see these other reviews and wonder how they could be so bad. We had water damage under 2 floors in our house and they were out the same day for an estimate and to repair the plumbing that caused the damage. Our insurance company even found their estimate more than fair and agreed to it right away. The two tradesmen they sent out to do the job were great and very skilled at what they do. Within 4 days they had completely removed both floors and replaced them. They look great and we could not be happier. Thank you Lenny's for a job well done! read more

Lenny's did a great job insulating and skirting my porch. Got the job done just in time too was able to use the porch all winter long.

(One comment up front... wildly different reviews, and I notice online there is a Lenny's in Wixom and separate Lenny's in Northville. Don't know if they are the same place, but I used the one in Wixom.) My review is two part, and the 5 stars is based on the amazing plumbing service I received. Part 1 - in 2015 we called Lenny's for a quote on a new front door with storm door, and 2 new huge picture windows. An older man came for the appointment, went through all the details and then said we would receive an estimate. Nothing.. so I called a week later and was told no estimate was in the system, to try back. Called again in another week, told the exact same thing. Never heard another word from them about it. SUPER weird... guess he didn't want to do his job or they didn't want the business. Ended up going with Home Depot after a couple months. For this, they get 0 stars. Part 2 - Heat tape failed, pipes froze Wednesday night (1/3), got up for work with no water. Called the Lenny's number for plumbing (took a gamble after the Part 1 fiasco, and i was worried to be honest), they called me back 2 minutes after they opened. Got me on the waiting list (happened to so many people!), and told me that it could possibly even be the next day! But, 3 hours later, they called and said the guy was on his way. Yay! He was there for 1 1/2 hours, very nice, very polite, worked quickly and got everything in order. So for this reason, I am giving their PLUMBING SERVICE 5 stars. Thanks Lenny's! read more

I used Lenny's a couple years ago when my a/c went out in June with my newborn. They even accepted cash for a 10% discount. They were quick and reasonable. I called for a quote to get the heating coil and insulation replaced on my water pipe. I was told I would get a call back to schedule a day to come out the next day or Monday (it was Friday afternoon). It has now been 1 week with no phone call or follow up. Obviously they are doing so well, they don't need more business. I will call Precision instead. read more
