Anyway, I finally pulled the trigger and had them installed today and all I can say is WOW. How often do you order/receive/have something installed and it's actually BETTER than you imagined?? Anyway, I told the installation guy (yes, I should have asked his name) that I was going to write a positive review immediately (my idea, not his) because I was/am so impressed. So here it is! SOOO rude. I am not a complainer, but this is ridiculous. Trying to fix what!! They shrunk them by a foot and ruined my drapes. And Im the one to made feel wrong for calling them to try to talk to a manager on the phone. TERRIBLE!! And no apology whatsoever! EDIT AS OF 8/22/18: they did NOT fix the issue like they said in the comment- they replaced my expensive embroidered black out curtain that i paid over $1000 for with a cheap blind AND on top of that made me pay for the motor for the blind- so they REFUSED to replace what they ruined with something equal. DONT EVER USE THEM. On top of that I paid $50 for a service call (same day they came to install the initial blind in my babys room, so they didnt even have to come out here separately), to fix my remote living room blind that wasnt going up properly. A month later it stopped working again, and they will NOT come out here to fix again even though i paid them $50 a month prior saying its not their responsibility. If you fixed it right the first time for the $50 fee then I wouldn't have had another problem!

The entire experience was perfection! From the very beginning, the duo really gave us world class service. When selecting our blinds, we opted for an in-home visit, where they showed us many samples and options for shades. It was a bit overwhelming, but they helped us figure out the perfect shades for our space. Next came install day, which went smoothly... and it was not easy because of our high ceilings... which required they install scaffolding. But the team at Budget knew exactly what to do, and everything was installed quickly and worked like a charm. The team even came back to our home after the install to do some fine tuning with our remote-control blinds (which, by the way, I highly recommend). Oh, and the shades- they are amazing! This way we could get the exact measurements we required, while being able to keep the rug if we ever move. We came by here and the woman working that day (not sure if there's more than her) agreed with our assessment on getting a cut bound. We browsed through the extensive selection and eventually found what we wanted. The price was just right and the timing to get it bound was perfectly reasonable. The saleswoman was very friendly and knowledgeable. So why is there only 3 stars up there? I received the call that the rug was ready. I didn't really think much about how big or heavy it would be. After all, we had hauled a similar sized area rug (a few inches size difference or we would have gotten the same thing) back from Home Depot on the N train with no problem. I arrived in store and she pointed at the rug. It was huge, bulky, and heavy. Never once was I offered any sort of delivery options. In fact, I was asked if I had a car! I live in New York. I don't have a car. Frustrated and thoroughly sick of moving/furnishing, I just decided to take the rug and leave. I only live a few blocks away, but damn was that the longest few blocks i've ever walked. Sure, I could've asked about delivery, but that should have been an option presented to me upon sale. If I ever need something carpeted again, I probably would come back. Ultimately, I had no problems with the price or quality of the product, but I will definitely be more clear next time on my delivery needs!
