Excellent, prompt customer service! My wife bought her frames there a few years ago. Over the weekend, she dropped her glasses, a lens popped out, and the piece of what looks like fishing line holding it in place had broken. We took them in on a Sunday. They got right to them and got them back the next day. When we went to pick them up, they didn't just hand them to us; they wanted to be sure the fit was correct and everything adjusted as it should be before letting us out the door. Terrible Service. My husband got new glasses there in Sept. this year. In Oct. his frame had a problem, so they fixed it. This time, his lens fell out, and he lost it. We never expected a new lens to fall out like that. When we called, they said we didn't have insurance and couldn't fix it. The quality of over $400 glass is poor... We will never go back there. We have had other glasses for years, and never has a lens fallen out. read more

I was told on the phone to drive to the fed way location as long as I was there before 7 I could get a lens replacement sent out. I get there at 6:55 after driving 45 minutes (at the reassurance of one of their employees) and the lady who answered the door (already had doors locked) was giggling while explaining to me you need to be there at 6:30 to get service. Why not close at 6:30 then? I already had everything ready to go including the quote, my measurements, and form of payment. The lady on the phone spent time preparing with me so this situation wouldn't happen and the person who answered the door said she needed "her own measurements" and had "already closed the till". How is this the customers problem? Why would you make it to where no one could get service after 6:30 when you close at 7? They could've spent five minutes and taken my order with everything already sorted for them but instead she laughed at my situation and closed the door in my face. I went in for an eye exam and the doctor left my glasses in the exam room. We both forgot about the glasses after the exam and I got a call from them to pick it up the next day. I went to pick my glasses up around 2 weeks after the call and the store associates stated that they cannot find my glasses. Stated that they will call back when they found it and they never did. I just called back to explain the situation and to see if they're able to replace the glasses since it is lost in their store. They told me that they don't know if they can and they don't know where it is. This has been going on for almost two months now and there hasn't been a solution but to just buy a brand new pair which is disappointing. read more

The doctor was great his staff suck!!! The guy who measures and sets up your lenses was really "groovy". He sent my lenses out and when they came back they weren't correct. So instead of communicating that to me I waited 4 weeks for my glasses. I'm canceling my insurance and order onlin. I will just get my glasses somewhere else. read more

Avoid this store, they told me I was in network and to come on in so my son and I showed up and payed the 50dollar a piece copay, then when I talked to my insurance carrier ( which I admit I should have done first) I was told LensCrafters is out of network and I should only have 10 dollar copay. When I called to ask why they misled me I was told " we wouldn't tell you that, we are all familiar with VSP and that I should know my coverage. She is right I should've known my coverage. This place was a rip off. Don't believe what they advertise on paper and the front of the stores. Paid over $400 worth of RayBan frames and prescription lenses. After a few months, i went back to get the earpiece tightened because the glasses kept sliding down my nose. Their technician did that and it worked for a while until another month or two, the earpiece that was tightened completely broke off. They wouldn't replace it. They suggested I buy another frame. Over $400 down the drain after a few months because of a defective lens that they would not accept even the smallest responsibility. I went here a few years ago and felt like the help I got was okay but after getting my lenses this time around I felt the doctor was great but not too happy with the staff. I went to look at glasses after my exam and wasn't told anything so I tried on the glasses and put them back up and was told from across the store not to put them back up they needed to sanitized in kind of a rude manner after not being told anything prior to trying on glasses. I was then told my lenses would be ready Tuesday (the following day) nothing. I went in 6 days later to just to see where my lenses were at and get an update and they had me sit down and wait while two employees who weren't busy stood around and chatted with one another. I'm super disappointed I spent 400 + out of pocket for glasses to get crappy service and if I could cancel my lenses I would. Update: I called to see where my glasses were at, gave her my name, and told the girl I was confused because I was told they'd be done on Tuesday and it was now Saturday. She responded with "uhhhh it'll be 2 weeks out." I hang up and 5-10 minutes later get a text saying they were ready followed by a phone call saying "oh sorry I thought your lenses wouldn't be here yet." I'm not sure why I can't give them my name and have them run to the back room and check if my lenses and glasses are ready but apparently that's a common theme. I called, gave my name and she didn't even check! Definitely won't be going back here. read more

Once in a while, you get lucky and strike gold when youre not even looking for it. Thats what happened to me today. I broke my only pair of glasses on Thanksgiving day, and had to work the following two days without them. Since nothing much is open on Sunday I had to wait till Monday to look for some place that could give me a new prescription and produce a new pair of glasses by Thursday. I tried all of the usual places in the Olympia/Tumwater/Lacey area and came up emptyhanded for all my calling and driving around on Monday. Then this morning, I returned to a major retailer in Tumwater to get started with the week long process of getting new glasses, but the optometrist couldn't see me until late the following day. I was very frustrated and just couldn't understand why in this day and age of technology it should take so long, and the young lady dealing with me felt sorry for me and quietly suggested I try LensCrafters. Now I had heard about LensCrafters for many years and had always been told they were extremely expensive. And I was naive enough to believe it. But I was desperate and gave the LensCrafters store in Federal Way a call and was able to get in right away. There were quite a few people there when I arrived and the staff was busy, but within minutes I was greeted and the process began. Introductions were made, forms filled out and within 15 minutes of arriving I was in the optometrists office getting my eyes examined. Then I was taken back to the retail area where I picked out my glasses and had them fitted. Everyone I came in contact with in that place of business treated me like an honored guest at a fine restaurant. And I was dressed in overalls and a fisherman's cap! The thing I want everyone to know is that it took a total of 1 1/2 hours from the time I walked into the door until I had my new glasses on my face. And expensive? How does $300 +/- for the exam, prescription and a pair of bifocals sound to you? Those folks are doing it like it should be done and my hat is off to them. Stay away from this place. They are overpriced, and offer poor quality product. The only reason I went to Lens Crafters is that I broke my glasses, and heard they could do it same day. When they told me it would take a week I should have run! With insurance, I paid $300 NOT including the eye exam. If I recall correctly the full price was around $600 but not 100% positive. Fast forward to a month and 6 days later (note that they have a 30 day warranty). My glasses that are scratch resistant have developed a terrible scratch, right in the center of my view. I took it in, went through the blame game, "Well you probably cleaned them with your shirt", "Do you place them face down at night", etc. I held up a pair of prescription sunglasses I have had for over 2 years saying, I treat them like I do these, and I have had these for over 2 years. While my sunglasses have minor scratches, they are nothing like the scratch that developed in 36 days. Of course, unless you pay $35 for a 1 year warranty, they will not do anything after 30 days. All other places I have bought glasses from offer a 1 year warranty for free. The assistant manager was nice, and offered me a 20% discount on lenses. When I asked how much it would be with the 20% off, they told me $398!!!!! Why the hell would I spend $400 for a product that you don't stand behind, which is obviously faulty? I politely asked for my prescription, and will be ordering glasses online. There's a reputable firm with glasses starting at $95. If you need high index lenses, it's $125. It's were I ordered my sunglasses from that have stood up to over 2 years of wear, better than a 36 day old pair of LensCrafters junk read more

I had an Exam & bought my Glasses here 2 1/2 Years ago. That was great! Came back here just recently because I'm​ due for my next Exam & get some new glasses after 2 1/2 Years & Savannah is awesome. She checked my Insurance to make sure if I'm​ covered, Came in as soon as I​​ can and helped me along the way to see which glasses are best for me that i chose. She also listens carefully with any questions that I​ have and answered them very properly. Recently, Something was not right with my new Glasses that wasn't adjusted right. So i came back the day after I​ picked up my new glasses and she helped me right away to get them adjusted right. So, If anyone wants a great experience and someone who's very knowledgeable​, Helpful & Takes their time answering any of your Vision, Lenses & Frame questions & make sure you have a great experience, I'd recommend going to Savannah & she'll take great care of you! read more

Pros: The eye doctor I got to see was great. He talked me through everything I needed to know. My first visit was amazing. They found my info without a problem. I waited maybe 10 minutes and I was helped. Cons: In the last month, I've spent over 2 hours waiting for help to try and figure out what was going on with my vision plan. My second trip there, I was made to wait for half an hour before being told that my vision wouldn't cover my exam. The woman wasn't able to explain why and tried her (honest) best to help me. In between each situation I waited another 10 minutes before finally figuring out what happened with my vision plan. We made another appointment for today after an hour of trying to figure out what was going on. I finally returned today only to find out again that my vision somehow wouldn't get accepted. The man at the front did nothing to attempt to help me except say "call the number on the back of your card." He insisted that he had tried multiple times days ago with someone else to find my plan and couldn't find anything. Not to mention, somehow they had the wrong number when I've been here before and gotten phone calls before. Tried to keep my cool while I was on hold for 10 minutes with the vision company. I got tired of it and finally walked back in when someone else helped me. Within a few minutes, she was able to find my vision plan and got me in to see someone. I was handed back to the guy, I verified that I was getting an exam for contacts then was told that I was getting an exam for glasses. He had already charged me the copay and then mentioned that the doctor that does contacts wasn't in. I waited another hour today just to leave again with absolutely nothing done. I will never return to this place. The worst experience I've ever had with any type of vision/medical/dental put together. read more

Went to go get my glasses touched up because they are pinching my ears while I was waiting I was looking at some cute frames and excited to try them on to see if they were cute on my face. Associate gets up and tells me that I am not allowed to try on the frames due to they are not allowing people to try them on. There are no signs anywhere that states please do not try on glasses frames as of this time. The fact that this woman got up in the middle of helping a customer to come and make me feel very tiny for trying on glass frame was ridiculous. There are no signs posted anywhere that says do not try on frames nowhere anywhere in the store it in the face please do not try on frame. She embarrassed me in front of other people. If you don't want people trying on frames then have signs saying please do not try on frames at this time due to COVID-19 all you have to do. Andrew from fed way lens crafter did a great job of adjusting my glasses I bought there. I've always had issues with loose glasses. I came in with bent end piece, Andrew tightened them down explained the different temple length of different people and adjusted my temple curve to start earlier. My glasses feel much better. I am very satisfied with the quality adjustment Andrew did. Will go back to him for adjustments. read more

The Federal Way store manager Mary took my Rx order and did not input the eyeglasses RX correctly. The staff is very off-put and bothered by customers as you do NOT feel welcome nor feel appreciated as a valued customer. This store needs to be completely RE staffed by new employees who are more accurate in their work and more courteous to customers. The lens prices are way over-priced and your eyeglasses Rx is input wrong making your glasses hindering your vision instead of improving it. No, I would NOT recommend. As soon as you walk in their front door, they do NOT welcome you, they only shout out loud & holler out to you to want to know why you are there as in it had better be a good reason, then they return to their phone chatting, completely ignoring you the whole time. I would never suggest this location to anybody. Im only giving it one star because Mel is the only nice person there. They are extremely overpriced (my lenses alone were almost $450.) and their customer service is horrible, except for the previously mentioned manager. They say they can fill prescriptions in an hour, mine took almost 2 & a half before they told me that their machine broke and I had to wait until the next day to pick them up... I even asked if they would be available that day, you should KNOW if your machines aren't working from the get-go so that was a lie. They didn't even call me to tell me it was broke, I had to wait around town for that long, they should have called me to be considerate...I wasted a whole day just waiting around for glasses I couldn't even pick up. I went here because I misplaced my glasses that I need for migraines, so when I found my glasses, I returned the ones I bought at this location. Their computer system just so happened to be "down" ..I thought it was weird that this was the second time this happened. They told me they would call me once it got back up. Never did. So I called the store to do a refund over the phone. Mel, one of the managers was really friendly and apologized that their system wouldn't let me do a refund over the phone after I already returned them. SO, I came into the store today (the THIRD TIME I have been there) and they said they couldn't do anything because Mel wasn't working and it said my glasses were already returned. It's now been a whole week since I returned my glasses and I STILL don't have my refund. They keep telling me I'll just have to come back. This is ridiculous. I will never ever pay them or suggest to anyone to come to this place that just passes things to other people instead of getting to the bottom of things and helping customers. read more

What bad service. They didn't call when the glasses where ready. I had to call them 11 days later. Tried them on and one lens is wrong. The focus point is way off. Without looking they just tell me to make an appointment and come back for another eye exam. They refuse to see me now even though the place was empty. Who has time right now to keep missing work. I'm lucky to still be working. After a new exam I get to wait two more weeks for my glasses and hope they are right. No consideration No apologies No compensation. Just a waste of time. After spending 700 plus dollars you would they would try and help you. Avoid this place unless you want to be over charged under whelmed. read more

This is my first ever review. All I can say is this place is so unprofessional. I bought a pair of glasses because even though I wasn't sure if the glasses felt right on my nose. The staff kept saying just bring them back if they hurt your nose or anything we will give you your money back. I even asked, are you sure? As in no store credit or some catch. No, No problem they said. So I took them home, they hurt my nose. came back two days later. Two days later they said no refund. Call the corporate office. Got recordings that never went to a live person. On and on. Five letters back and forth . Still no refund... its kind of crazy a business this lousy could even stay fluid. They cant even afford 157.00 refund on a pair of Ray Bans. so cheap. They sell expensive stuff but they are third rate. I would have better luck at Walmart at least there they give refunds. read more

Very disappointed about this place. Went in with my best friend so she can get another pair (probably her 5th from them) and the entire time we felt rushed out by the sales person. We wanted to try on frames in order to see what best matches her face shape, etc. and multiple times the associate made remarks about us leaving or trying on too many, etc. We didn't make a mess, tried on one at a time and promptly returned it to the slot in the wall where it was taken from. Also, their selection is quite slim. Never going back to this location again. I'd recommend the Southcenter location as they have a larger selection and friendlier staff. read more

Dr. An Pham is amazing. He's very friendly, kind, and personable. He's great at what he does- easiest and most accurate eye exam I've ever had. He explained everything very well too. The staff that works in the front of the store were all friendly enough. My glasses were done in about 40 minutes - total life saver! The lenses were very expensive (they only had premium lenses in my RX in stock), but I'd rather pay a ton of money than not be able to see & drive safely after losing my usual pair. WORST !! WORST !! WORST !! DO NOT EVER COME TO THIS LOCATION !! Alma , Feima , Harley , & Priscilla ARE HORRIBLE !! Long story short I came in & spoke to Harley about getting one of the legs on my glasses repaired. After waiting about 10/15 minutes she came back & said Shelly (Lab Manager) said she can fix them but she would have to take them apart & it would be about an hour. Since they were closing I was told to come back. So what did I do I came back. I dropped them off with Feima who had no idea what she was doing. I told her the leg was broken & needed to be repaired she said oh so an adjustment ? I said NO REPAIR !! The lab already looked at them & said it would be about an hour. So she got my name & phone number. Well after an hour & 45 minutes I come back to pick them up & Alma goes to hand them to me GUESS WHAT !! They look EXACTLY the same !!! So my blind ass has been without glasses for almost 2 hours for them to do nothing !!!! Their excuse was that the lab tech Priscilla didn't know how to take them apart ? WHAT ? Only Shelly could fix them ? So ummm why wasn't I told that right away & returned my glasses ? Alma's excuse "I don't know , I wasn't the one to help you" WOW ! Then Feima wants to get an attitude & argue with me about what EXACTLY she said even though her little note with my name & number says other wise !!! I had recently went to a LensCrafters location that did not help me at all and had me hesitant to even revisit another one of their locations I'm glad I checked out the LensCrafters location in Federal Way! The girl helped me right away and it was super easy and quick! In fact, I was able to get my glasses in an hour! I've always had to wait for my new glasses for at least a week so that was awesome! The only thing I would say is the prices are super expensive but it's worth it if you are in a hurry and want your glasses right away! read more
