These were all paid at time of service which supposedly includes a discount. I was told previously that follow ups were free, so the added $100 after being robbed for $1300 just to toss the existing expensive lens he had (unless I wanted to buy another frame $$) was the last straw. I imagine all of the good reviews are coming from people with insurance that aren't seeing the insanely inflated costs of everything they are billing for. Absolutely insane, will not be back

Went in for an eye exam, and it was an extremely smooth process. The doc was extremely knowledgeable and even explained certain things about my eyes that no one has ever taken the time to do before. Other experiences I've had were all about getting you in and out as fast as they could, but not here. He took his time to explain what he was doing and why. I like that in a Doc. When I went to pick out my frames, my better half was not with me, and I typically always ask for her approval on something I liked. So, I went off the recommendation of the employee helping me (didn't grab his name). I tried several pairs on, and he said there was one that popped. Which was good because I liked it, but wasn't too sure. He said it was a a perfect fit and style for my noggin... so I went with it. Of course got all the upgrades, and let me tell you... I can't count on my toes and fingers, and yours too on how many compliments I got on these Holbrook Oakleys!! People loved it, my wife loved it, more importantly... I loved them! Overall, for my first experience with this place, it was a pleasant surprise and I found myself not dreading an eye exam and hunting for something I never am really satisfied with- until now. My issue is not with the providers here, but with the lady that takes my eye measurements and that updates my prescription on my glasses. I've gotten an updated eye exam and gave them my glasses to get the updated prescription on them. Got my glasses back and my vision was pretty off. I called the office letting them know my vision is off with the new prescription. They said to come by and get a reassessment done free of charge. I come in, but the reassessment had no huge difference from what I was initially given, just a slight difference. So they took my glasses back to get that prescription updated. I pick up my glasses again and still notice my vision being very off. I called and explained. They asked that I come in again for another reassessment free of charge. Same routine happens. I pick up my glasses AGAIN and it's still off. My husband asked me to try and lift up my glasses to see if my vision is more clear...and of course that was the case. I called the clinic back and explained this. They told me to come in for another reassessment. This time, they took another measurement as well as that could be why my vision had been off. I leave my glasses with them and the lady goes "this will be the last time we can adjust your glasses for free." Excuse me? This entire time, it was your mistake for not getting the measurements correct the first time and you're telling me I have to pay in the case I need to get it redone? Why do I need to be responsible and pay when it was the clinic's fault to begin with? FYI, they said the fee would be $300-$350....I would not recommend this place and do not plan on coming back. The entire experience was very frustrating.

I understand you must've answered the question I had a million times, but please do not cut me off while I am talking. I did not appreciate the way i was responded. I am a loyal customer to Costco and a future patient with the optical dept. Pam needs re-training how to answer calls. I also work in the medical field... so if patients may have questions, specially pertaining to how to save a couple of bucks for lenses, help the member out nicely is the least you can do, Pam! Thank you for answering my question though, and yes you did save me a trip, but in the future, have the decency to be corteous enough over the phone. The gal on Saturday who had was professional and me was super helpful and even went above and beyond to write down a rough estimate on how much i needed to pay out of pocket. Now that is the Costco customer service! But having an employee like Pam just ruins the outlook of the optical team.

The optometrist told me the reason the left lens wasn't working for me was the fact that I was pushing my glasses up on my nose using my finger on the bridge of the glasses instead of using both hands to grab on each side of my glasses and pushing them up. What did how I adjusted my glasses on my nose have to do with a blurry lens? No answer. Will NEVER go back!

They truly care for their patients and don't force you to pay more than you can afford which I appreciate. I go to get my annual eye exam due to my diabetes. To schedule an appointment with them is very easy too, I was able to do it online quick and easy. My eye exams do not take longer than the amount shown on their scheduling. Plus they will even take you in a bit earlier if they are able to! The receptionist and the other staff members are very professional and friendly too. The space is organized and clean as well. They seem to have quite the gallery of glasses that you can peruse. Overall a great location that accepts Medicaid, which is very helpful.

Mid April my 17 year old daughter went to see her on her own (I'd had surgery and couldn't go) Dr Ahmed gave her a script and I took her two weeks later and paid and other $100 for new lenses to be put into her existing frames. We get them back and my daughter said. No everything is still very blurry. So back we go. Again Dr agmed is very rushed. Made us feel like we were a bother because she didn't do her job right the first time. She'd ask my daughter. 1 or 2 and she'd say I can't tell a difference but neither of them is clear. This went on for about 5 minutes when she decided to almost double her script. She assured us it was what my daughter thought was best. (Reread this paragraph) So we have another set of lenses made. We picked them up yesterday and she puts them on and immediately takes them off and says I'm seeing 4 of everything. So 3rd times a charm. She's seeing a new dr next week and I will update after her new glasses arrive. But seriously. This is a headache. I should have shopped around for a new Dr and allowed my insuemace to pay for it.
